About: I’ve always had animals in my life—dogs, cats, bunnies, a hamster, frogs… and one unforgettable roommate with ferrets. These days, it’s just me, my dog Tillie, and two backyard chickens, Lucy and Caroline (they run a tight ship). I work from home, so your dog will have company all day—whether they want to nap by my desk, play in the yard, or soak up some love. My partner doesn’t work from home, but when he’s here, he’s everyone’s favorite ball-thrower and treat-giver. Your pup will be treated like part of the family—chicken supervision included. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which means your dog won’t be left alone for long, if at all. They’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day—walks, playtime, snuggles, and whatever else makes them feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. I have a fenced yard, a sweet dog named Tillie, and two backyard chickens. We keep a calm, safe environment for everyone—your dog will be cared for like family.

“Veronica was very nice upon meeting. My dog Finley had a great time. She sent me a video update and my pup clearly was having a great time and running around getting his exercise in. It’s nice to know he also has other dogs there to play with. He came home happy and calm. I would definitely recommend Veronica & Martin’s services and will absolutely use them again when I need my dog looked after”

“Thank you Joyce for watching Jax at the last minute. Joyce treated my dog like her own. Jax got along well with her dogs and was comfortable being there. I will definitely have Jax over again.”

About: I currently own 3 Golden Retrievers with my significant other. Over the years we have also had a Lab Golden mix and an Australian Shepherd. I volunteer for a nonprofit Retriever rescue and have fostered many dogs through the organization, and for the past 8 yrs I have served as a Medical Intake Manager for the rescue. I absolutely love dogs and treat all dogs like they were my own. Our home sits on 1.25 acres which includes about 1/4 acres of fenced woods with trails, our own private wooded dog park! We also have a medium sized fenced backyard with grass. Our 3 dogs are super dog friendly and love to play. We have a 2 & 6 yrs old spayed female Goldens and a 5 yr old neutered male Golden. We live in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street with lots of private roads for dog walks. I have a very flexible work from home job and am always here to attend to your pups needs. The dog would get lots of attention throughout the day and be able to play and have lots of fun here! We have a fenced medium sized backyard, and our back woods are fenced as well which is accessible by a separate gate. I have XL wire crates on hand and can crate if needed. Super experienced dog owner from my previous fostering experiences.

About: **Meet and Greet Required for all New Clients** I am certified graduate from Animal Behavior College with over 15 years of experience caring and training dogs. I own Awakening Companionship, a positive reinforcement training business. Having worked professionally and personally with a variety of dog ages, breeds and personalities, I understand the importance of personalized pet care! I currently work from home as a graphic designer, except for one or two days a week subbing at SBL School District or when I see dog training clients. I have a fully fenced shady back yard, two loving kids and three sleepy senior dogs to keep your fur baby company during their stay. There is ample space to play, train and explore! Exercise and mental play are important to a happy pet, so whether at your house or mine, we make sure to pack in the fun!

Rachel took into account my dog's unique needs and fears, make sure she got her meds, and approached her appropriately. I've also had the chance to see Rachel with her own dogs and foster dogs, including those with challenges due to tough histories. Rachel is compassionate, attentive, and creates a fun, safe environment for her dogs and for those who may be staying with her, whether for a day or two or longer until they find a good home.”
