About: I’ve cared for and loved the pets of family members and friends for about 6 years. I love getting to know each new pet and giving them plenty of love. I am fully a stay at home parent. So I can dedicate most of my time to your pet. I have plenty of time for walks and play. I have a cozy home, I allow pets on furniture and in bed so they will be comfortable and safe. I also have lots of sunlight so they will feel free and not closed in. I have my own doggy named Prince to keep your pet(s) company as well.

About: I’ve grew up with dogs and have taken care of them All My Life Basically! They Provide An Unconditional Love & Deserve That Unconditional Love Back! Although I currently don’t have any dogs of my own, I sure do enjoy the company of family Members & others dogs. Loving them, walking them, Cleaning Up After Them, Bathing Them, & Also feeding & playing with them ! Animals Are Family & What Is Life Without a Wagging Tail?! I’m currently working from home so I have plenty enough time to play & care for your fur babies! I Do onboarding in my home whether It’s For A Few Hours, all Day , over night or for a few nights! I Love to update parents on their fur babies with pics and videos to show how they are doing as I know some dogs get separation anxiety from being away from their owners! I do not have a fenced in yard but I would love to take your dogs for walks to enjoy the fresh air and potty! I do not have any animals currently living with me so I don’t mind them not being in a crate, if your dog is crate trained and would prefer them to be in it certain times that is also okay with me.

About: I decided to join Rover because my friends always contact me to take care of their pets and they say I should make a job of it :) I’ve also been a personal assistant to two families, which included staying with and checking in on their pets on a daily basis and while they were away. I’ve had a few clients over the years where I’ve taken care of their dogs, cats, rabbits, goats and other farm animals. I’ve helped run a small farm as well so if you have horses or other animals that need looked after, I’m all in! I have a college degree and manage a restaurant now. I’m very responsible, handle stress well, and have always taken my obligations very seriously. I’m trustworthy and always on time. That’s part of being a business woman :) Besides that though, I truly love animals and I’m very fond of dogs, cats, and horses. I’d love to help you out so be sure to get in touch! Fortunately, as a restaurant manager, I get to create my own schedule so I enjoy helping out families with their pets in my off time. If you need me to take your dog(s) for a walk, stop by to play with your pets, check in, potty breaks, or spending the night, let’s discuss what schedule you need. I’m very flexible and can also help with any special needs you may have such as giving meds or cleanings. Just leave me instructions and I will be sure to follow those and any other guidelines you may have. Keeping your pets safe and entertained will be my priority. I’d love to send you pics and check-ins to offer you peace of mind while your away.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, having grown up with them my whole life, from senior dogs to playful puppies as young as 3 months old. I’m passionate about both cats and dogs and love taking them on runs or treating them to a sweet snack. Whether it's a leisurely walk or an active outing, I’m dedicated to providing fun, loving care for every pet I sit! I have classes until 3 PM most days, but I’m flexible and can adjust my schedule to accommodate pet care in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I’m committed to providing reliable and loving care for your pets whenever you need me! I offer pet care primarily in my client’s home, as I prefer the pets to stay in their familiar environment. I have a fenced-in backyard, but since I live on a busier street, I find it’s often better for pets to be in a quieter, more comfortable space. If your pet is friendly, I also have a dog who loves to play and is very sweet. My home is safe, but for senior dogs, there are a few stairs, which I can work around to ensure their comfort. I’m flexible and always prioritize your pet’s safety and happiness!

About: There's nothing more wonderful than the love of a dog! I had previously primarily used Rover to find quality sitters and now my schedule is allowing me to return the favor. I'm a nurse and currently working on my Doctorate, so much of this time during this period in my schooling is spent studying from home, allowing me a very flexible schedule. From experiences seeking out sitters for my own dog, I know it is incredibly important (and sometimes challenging) to find someone trustworthy and reliable when life gets busy. I grew up with a number of dogs in our house and have translated that love over the last decade into dedicated involvement with foster/rescue organizations. I have experience caring for all dogs, from litters of new puppies to senior dogs and those with special needs. Some dogs I've cared for are experiencing their first taste of a home, and it couldn't be more rewarding to make them feel safe and loved while working on leash skills, potty training, baths, etc. I am happy to accommodate you and your pet's preferences--I understand the importance of routine, consistency, and willingness to accommodate a pup's specific needs My schedule is very flexible during the day allowing for frequent potty breaks, multiple walks, park trips, and plenty of attention/playtime. My senior girl Lilo loves having visitors, and we are happy to welcome another dog into our home!

“Shanna is an amazing sitter who I trust to watch and enrich my 3 month old puppy. She’s very prompt about responding and is a great communicator about pick up and drop times. She is a certified dog trainer, so I know my dog is getting the best care. She asked me about what I want my dog to learn and what skills he already had. And then reinforced them! She had my dog toileting outside in a day or two. Shanna also went above and beyond in my mind when she got my puppy some edible chews because he was teething. I offered to pay, but she wouldn’t hear of it. Truly an amazing person who clearly just loves dogs. And my pup clearly agrees! He was excited to see her after the first day and every day since he has readily jumped into her arms. He comes home tired and in general more responsive and calm to my commands. Shanna’s about a 20-30 minute drive out of town for me, but she is TOTALLY worth it. I would say she is the top tier of any dog sitter I have ever had. This is definitely who you want to watch your dogs.”

I live close to trails for enjoyable walks, for the pups that are properly safeguarded with prevention and vaccines for a walk through the woods. I have plenty of kitty toys and scratchers for my kitty friends, so they can have fun and keep their nails in tip top shape. My fur babies have a calm and safe environment, and we’d love to share that with your fur baby.
