About: As a veterinary assistant with hands-on experience in both general and emergency practices, I bring a unique level of skill, knowledge, and compassion to every pet I care for. I’m trained in handling animals of all sizes and temperaments, and I’m confident in giving medications, and managing senior pets with special needs. I also have experience working with puppies—including potty training, crate training, and building confidence with positive reinforcement. Whether your pet is young and energetic or older and in need of a little extra TLC, I tailor my care to meet their individual needs. Beyond my clinical background, I’m a lifelong animal lover who knows that pets are family. I treat every animal in my care like one of my own. I understand how important trust is when someone else is looking after your pet, and I’m here to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I’m currently working full time, but I am able to take time out of my day to let your animals out throughout the day! On weekends I can stay with them full time! When caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to maintain their usual routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while you're away. I follow all care instructions closely, from feeding and walks to medication schedules and bedtime routines, and I always take time to bond with your pet through play, snuggles, or quiet companionship depending on their needs and personality. About: I have had pets my entire life. I knew very young that I wanted to work with animals. I have a great love and compassion for them. I will take great care of your babies! I have a lot of experience caring and working with dogs. I have hobby farm experience (dogs, cats, chickens and a horse) as well. I am a Licensed Veterinary Nurse, therefore, I am educated in many aspects of caring for your pet. I know what to look for in case of illness, injury, etc. I can also do some other tasks, like toe nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I am a dependable, trustworthy person who knows how important your pets are to you. That’s what inspired me to become a Rover sitter: to offer dependable, compassionate care for your pets when you need it most. My two pups (a spunky senior Jack Russell/Heeler mix and a mid-aged Husky/Heeler) keep me active and on my toes, and I frequently care for my sister-in-law's dogs as well. I’m experienced with dogs who need a little extra TLC, including those on special diets, daily medications, or unique routines. Whether you need someone to drop in for a quick potty break or want your dog to feel at home while you're away, I treat every pet like family—with patience, attention, and love. I'm flexible! I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule during the days. I work about ~10-15 hours a week and don't have a set 9-5 type schedule. I can do my work whenever, wherever! I have a fenced in yard and two dogs at home. I treat my dogs like they are my BABIES - they get a ton of attention, pets, belly rubs, walks, and kisses. We do a lot of walks in our neighborhood and like to bring our pets on adventures.

We have a large open floor plan with a 4 stall garage to roam. Price will vary if dog is not fully potty trained or in heat during their stay. I am a stay at home entrepreneur allowing me to be present with pets while they are here. I am also a self taught groomer! I will only be booking appointments on days that I can be fully present and involved with the pets scheduled. My husband and I believe this is a great opportunity to be able to love on all kinds of different breeds as our own and a fun way to take care of some of the most precious pets. * I am available for drop ins(potty breaks and walks) in the hudsonville-jenison area on Tuesdays and Thursdays aswell! There are no cats or dogs here (unless confirmed that its okay to board at the same time as another families pet) so you won't have to worry about your pet getting along with anyone else while they are here. Our yard is not fenced but we do have fenced in areas.Be sure to check your collars and leashes of any wear and tears before dropping them off💛 If your dog is medium-giant we prefer them to have a calm demeanor (couch potato) if not,but this is not a requirement 😉 tell me about your dog and we will see if it will be a good fit🧡

“Mark is outstanding. Not only did he take great care of my 3 dogs and 2 cats, but he was an excellent communicator. He sent a full written report each day and sent so many pictures. We came home to a clean house and happy pets. He was very helpful when we almost missed our connecting flight and reassured me that he would be there for us if we did miss it. We travel a lot and I will never use another pet sitter if I can help it. Mark took care of my pets like I take care of them and that’s saying a lot bc I’m a bit crazy for my furbabies. About: I have cared for dogs, cats, race and draft horses, chickens, cows, rabbits, hamsters, guinea Pigs, goats, snakes, birds, llamas, a monkey and lots of other creatures. I’d love to be able to help with your pet care needs. House sitting includes: Staying in your home with your pets. This means there needs to be a clean bed or place to sleep. While your pets will be in my care I will still need to be able to accommodate other responsibilities. Your pets will not be left for more than 7hours at a time. If your pets require 100% around the clock care, I unfortunately will not be able to accommodate this. Meet and greets are required before booking starts. Thank you so much for your time. Im currently working part time in the Newaygo area and only accept house sittings. This helps allow me to concentrate on the animals I’m caring for. I love meeting new animals! I make sure to provide a safe environment where your animal will feel confident and less stressed. I have experience administering medications and very detailed feedings.
