“Emily was absolutely amazing with my puppy! She is only four months old (needs extra attention as most do!), is on a medication, and this was my first time having to leave her with someone else to care for her. When I got there, Emily already had a space set up for my puppy with a large play space and puppy pee pads (just in case haha). Emily sent me pictures and updates every day so that I could see how well she was doing. It made me happy to see her so happy. Then on my way home, I had flight delays, and Emily and her husband were MORE than accommodating to help me pick up my puppy from them quite late in the evening. I can’t recommend Emily enough. I will definitely look to her first when needing a sitter in the future.”

“Mari Jane was an amazing home away from home for Chico! He got to meet chickens, goats, and other dogs while I was out of town for five days on vacation. As soon as I got him into the car after pick up, he fell right asleep! I could tell he had a great time. A few days he had developed a bit of a limp, and Mari Jane kept me super updated on his progress. He doesn't know when to quit and it turns out he just was having too much fun on the farm! He was perfectly fine by the time I picked him up. I will definitely go with Mari Jane again in the future, thank you again!!”

About: We are known to all our friends as the crazy dog people. My husband and I have 4 rescue babies of our own and love all aspects of dog parenting. We promise to treat your dogs as we treat our own. We will care for any dog, including special needs or dogs requiring medication administration. We are very patient and will do our best to make them comfortable and happy. We love dogs of all sizes and personalities, no breed prejudices. We love going for long walks and playing fetch in our backyard. We’ve recently renovated our pole barn into a doggy resort, with three personalized rooms, for overnight stays in our home. Dogs will have access to an attached fenced area outdoors and receive regular playtimes and 2-3 walks daily. I am a stay at home mom, so I’m on site at all times to love on your pups. Also available for drop ins/walks if your pets are child friendly. My 4 dogs get along well together. I work from home so they receive lots of attention and play sessions in our fenced backyard. Dogs we board in our home will be kept in our recently renovated, climate controlled pole barn (3 private rooms) which are also under video surveillance which is streamed continuously to my phone. This building is only a few feet from our home, so visitors will feel like part of the family while also having their privacy. All pet visitors receive regular play times, access to outside, and 2-3 walks daily while in our care. Play dates with other dogs can be accommodated with our dog friendly guests.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud rescue dog parent with over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I know firsthand how tough it can be to find affordable, trustworthy help—especially when juggling a busy schedule. Price will vary if dog is not fully potty trained or in heat during their stay. I am a stay at home entrepreneur allowing me to be present with pets while they are here. I am also a groomer! My husband and I believe this is a great opportunity to be able to love on all kinds of different breeds as our own and a fun way to take care of some of the most precious pets. That being said i will only accept crate trained dogs(for their safety) they need to be able to be crated safely while we are away for a short or longer amount of time. There are no cats or dogs here (unless confirmed by you that its okay to board at the same time as another families pet) so you won't have to worry about your pet getting along with anyone else while they are here. About: We are a Christian home with a very active family! I’m thankful that my job allows me to spend most of my days at home with the kids and dog. Our dog is very friendly and loves new visitors. She’s smaller, but loves the big dogs best! My daughter on the other hand loves the smaller dogs. We will happily welcome them all! My dog and I frequent the dog parks, hiking trails, beaches and walks through the town. I used to be a former 4-H member with my childhood dog, so I’ve got many years experience with training and showing. My love and patience is huge for dogs. I prefer a dog to be kennel trained, and come with a crate but an open to discussion. I am very flexible and I will most certainly work with you with whatever you may need. We have a large fenced yard with plenty of room to run, plus a peaceful country setting where dogs can relax, play, and enjoy lots of attention. In 3 days time, was house trained, and enrolled in Puppy Pre-School at a local PETSMART. He was such a quick learner, sitting and staying in no time! - Years later, my youngest Son and I, owned registered AKC, Siberian Huskies, and raised and sold 4 litters of puppies. Such fun. - a few other animals I've cared for; dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, bearded dragons, fish, eels, a chinchilla, pet snakes....but said no to a tarantula! “Taylor was amazing! Yesterday was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about my pup being home alone... Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. She then walked him, took pictures for me and played with him enough to tire him out for a bit. She was so good with him anc it was so appreciated! ❤️❤️”

About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life. I’ve had the responsibility of feeding and cleaning them since I was 14. I am very excited to take care of other pets and keep them safe. I feed my two cats three scoops each day (three scoops for each of them), give them lots of fresh water, and clean their litter boxes every day. I not only take care of my pets to make sure they are safe and healthy, but I play with them and have lots of fun with them.

Have presented the hands on program from everyone to 1000's of second graders to regional UPS drivers. -Recognized expert witness in court on dog tracking, aggression, training, and deployment. -Over 75 nationally published articles on dog obedience, housing, behavior, training, etc. -Tested, certified, and trained working dogs from nearly all 50 states and several countries. (This year I've had dog teams travel to my home from Montana, Florida, Iowa, etc for assistance). I do all this because I simply love interacting with dogs. The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! I have a lot of experience caring and working with dogs. I have hobby farm experience (dogs, cats, chickens and a horse) as well. About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was young. I love dogs unconditionally and love to play with them, I feed them when needed, I can give baths, and I love to take them on walks. My friends and family have relied on me to dog-sit whenever I was available to do so. I’m currently an MSW student and work part time at the moment. Wednesdays and Fridays will typically be completely free all day. Monday, Tuesdays, and Thursdays I work till 5 PM in Grand Rapids. If services are in Newaygo I’m free at 6 PM once I’m back! I LOVE dogs so this is more of a side thing since I just genuinely enjoy playing and taking care of pups :) I have a fenced in yard and a very playful energetic dog. He is very sweet but he is like our baby so we don’t like to bring other dogs in just because he can get jealous and we don’t like to risk it.
About: I spent 13 years caring for my own dog, Seven, and she was truly part of my family. That experience shaped how I care for every dog-patiently, attentively, and with a lot of love. I genuinely enjoy being outside, going on walks, and making sure dogs are active, happy, and not stuck inside all day. Your dog won’t just be “watched”- they’ll be cared for, played with, and treated like one of our own. I currently work from home and am home the majority of the day, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I do step out occasionally for short transportation trips and my boys’ sports activities, but I plan my schedule to ensure pets are never left alone for long periods. Your dog will have a consistent, safe, and attentive environment with lots of interaction throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide regular potty breaks every few hours, daily walks, and plenty of outdoor time. When I’m outside working on projects, dogs are welcome to be with me under supervision. Because we are on a busy road and the yard is not fully fenced, all dogs will be closely monitored outdoors. I will follow your preferences regarding leashing at all times, and I also have a secure 20-foot cable line available for safe outdoor time when appropriate. Fresh water is always available, both indoors and outside. I also currently have a calm, 12-year-old foster dog who enjoys light play and does well with other dogs. We’re located near a lake, and with your permission, I’m happy to include supervised swimming and extra outdoor activities for dogs who enjoy it. I will always tailor care to your dog’s individual needs to ensure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I have always loved dogs but since getting my own puppy, my love for them grew even more. I am that girl that stops you on the side of the road to pet and love on your puppy. I work 2 12 hour shifts in a row so the days I’m not working I have pretty open. I have a very routine schedule and would love to incorporate walking your dog into it! Since having my own puppy, I am able to understand when he is comfortable and when he is in need of something. I always make sure he is comfortable and happy.

The stay with me in the house. I will use their create and follow your instructions to use it. *Have tags on them with name and phone number. I also make a provisional one with my information for when we go for walks if they don’t have one (harnesses are highly recommended) *I encourage to bring their bed, or I can provide them with one. They are allowed on the couch or in a doggy bed in my bedroom. *I enjoy each puppy as much as I can during their stay with me and love to provide them with a fun and comfortable experience. I want them to see me as a fun and a safe person to be with, so I will always strive to be that for them in anyway I can. *I am sensitive to their needs and emotions and am always happy to build a connection with each of them.

She is only four months old (needs extra attention as most do!), is on a medication, and this was my first time having to leave her with someone else to care for her. Emily sent me pictures and updates every day so that I could see how well she was doing. It made me happy to see her so happy. About: I’m 23 years old and I have 2 dogs. One is 7 and the other is 1 year old. I got them both when they were puppies so I’ve had dog experience for 7 years now. I like to take them for walks daily if weather is permitting as well as play fetch. I am a CNA but I do home care so my schedule is flexible, I can work mornings or nights. I love doing Outdoor activities. I have a nice fenced in back yard for them to run around and get their energy out. So far I’ve taught my dogs how to sit, shake, dance, and high five with both paws. I want to continue to teach them more tricks. I’m sure my dogs are looking forward to having more buddies to play with!
