“I could not have asked for a better sitter. Sabrina was in constant contact and sent pictures and videos every day that she had Grace. She got to know dog and adjusted her care accordingly. I highly recommend Sabrina as a pet sitter.”

“Emily was absolutely amazing with my puppy! She is only four months old (needs extra attention as most do!), is on a medication, and this was my first time having to leave her with someone else to care for her. When I got there, Emily already had a space set up for my puppy with a large play space and puppy pee pads (just in case haha). Emily sent me pictures and updates every day so that I could see how well she was doing. It made me happy to see her so happy. Then on my way home, I had flight delays, and Emily and her husband were MORE than accommodating to help me pick up my puppy from them quite late in the evening. I can’t recommend Emily enough. I will definitely look to her first when needing a sitter in the future.”

“Dan and his wife were absolutely incredible! This was our first experience with Rover, and certainly will not be our last! Dan’s communication was excellent! He sent daily updates, photos, and videos during our time away. I truly felt our pup was so loved and cared for! Hands down would recommend Dan to anyone and everyone! Thank you!!!”

“Rachel is an all around great human. 10/10 I appreciate her structure, experience, passion; she is thorough/attentive, easy going and communication is 10/10 I loved the photos and updates regarding my pup! He had such a great time! 10/10 Environment was clean, tidy, and well suited. 10/10 Definitely a gem !!”

“Jenny is a fantastic sitter. She takes very good care of our senior dachshund, and updates every day! We feel very comfortable leaving our little Charlie with her.”

“Erin and Brian were great communicators and took good care of Cedar. They clearly love animals and have created a space where pups are welcome. Cedar enjoyed having playmates for the weekend and came home to us in a chipper mood. We’ll definitely plan to hire Erin and Brian again when we have future pet sitting needs.”

“I booked 11 nights to board my 1 year old Rottie (Remi) with Reyna and her crew. I was a little nervous because this was the first time boarding Remi and it was going to be for a long period of time and I would be out of the country. Everything was perfect! Multiple pictures and sometimes videos every day showing Remi going on walks, playing with other dogs, swimming in a small pool, meeting new farm animals and hanging out with Reyna and her family inside when it was hot out. It was pretty apparent that Remi was on her own vacation while I was on mine! I will definitely return in the future for any sitting needs.”

“My dogs have very different personalities but they both seemed content after spending the weekend with Caroline. We got regular updates as well, which eased our minds!”

“Chad is always so pleasant and takes great care of my quirky dog Murphy. He sends plenty of updates and debriefs me on how the stay went. Murphy always comes home tuckered out after a weekend of fun. I highly recommend booking with Chad!”

“Felix was a great sitter for Dakota. The open fenced in back yard was great plus there were other dogs for him to play with. Everyone got along! He was walked, fed, and loved. We will definitely be seeing felix again.”

“Our Happy had a very successful and positive stay with Tracy. As a first time user of Rover, we were very fortunate to find Tracy! She arranged a meet and greet, explained her set up, introduced her family and pets to us and our dog, and answered many questions for us (this was Happy's first boarding experience). All went very well, she sent daily reports and fun pictures. This allowed us to enjoy our time away even more, knowing our pup was in good hands (and laps) 😊. We plan to reach out to Tracy each time we need boarding for our Happy, highly recommend!”

“Moose is always excited to go to Dakota and Matthew's and I know he'll be well taken care of whenever we have to go out of town. Thanks again for being such great pup sitters!”

“Katherine was excellent with our black lab! Even with a fairly short notice, she and her family welcomed her and took great care of her over the weekend. Would book again!”

“Matt maintained great communication with us and our dog seemed to be very happy playing with Matt’s dog and going for walks. We’d definitely ask Matt to watch our dog again!”

“Megan was great! She took the time to get to know our pups was understanding of their needs. She has great communication and we felt comfortable with her watching them! Already have another stay booked”
About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have three dogs, all of whom I brought home at eight weeks old and personally raised and trained. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s a lifelong passion. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, from Chihuahuas to Pit Bulls to Alaskan Malamutes and everything in between. Over the years, I have provided pet care for neighbors, friends, colleagues, and clients, and I understand the importance of treating every dog with patience, kindness, and individualized care. While working as a home health care aide, I was often entrusted with caring for my clients’ pets, ensuring they were fed, exercised, and comfortable while their owners received care. I also volunteered as a dog walker with the Humane Society of West Michigan, where I gained experience working with dogs of varying personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I am comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding plans and dietary restrictions, and adapting to each dog’s unique routine. I am also certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR, giving pet owners added peace of mind that their companions are in capable hands. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, active playtime, or simply spending time with someone who genuinely loves dogs, I am committed to providing safe, dependable, and compassionate care while you’re away. As a devoted dog owner of three, caring for animals is an integral part of my daily life, and I extend that same level of attention, responsibility, and affection to every pet in my care. I am fully comfortable handling all aspects of daily dog care, including feeding, walking, potty breaks, enrichment, and playtime. My flexible schedule allows me to be home for most of the day throughout the week, as well as on weekends, providing consistent supervision and companionship. I also have the option to work from home when additional attention or frequent potty breaks are needed. In my household, pets are rarely left alone for extended periods. On typical days when I am away from home, my dogs are alone no longer than 5–6 hours. In many cases, my boyfriend may be home when I am not, and when both of us are working, we are generally away for no more than 4–5 hours at a time. If both of us are expected to be away for longer than two hours during a pet’s care period, I communicate this in advance to ensure transparency and appropriate planning. I maintain a consistent but flexible routine that prioritizes feeding, hydration, exercise, and enrichment. Dogs always have access to fresh water and are fed twice daily (or as often as your individual dog requires). Potty breaks are provided frequently based on each dog’s individual needs and cues; however, I am more than willing to follow a more structured schedule if that is what your pet is accustomed to. I am also experienced with administering medications, including monthly heartworm and flea prevention, and take great care to ensure all medications are given accurately and on time. While my household follows a generally relaxed routine, I understand that many pets thrive on structure. I am fully comfortable adhering to detailed instructions and incorporating established routines into my daily care. During the days I am available according to my Rover schedule, I am home for the majority of the day. Any brief absences are typically limited to short appointments, during which my boyfriend may assist with supervision, or pets will be safely confined if appropriate. Above all, I prioritize safety, supervision, and communication. Your pet will never be left without attentive care. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure consistent supervision, engagement, and affection so that every animal feels secure, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their time with me. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I share my home with three friendly dogs, each with their own unique personality: an energetic and affectionate Boston Terrier, a more reserved but sweet Boston Terrier, and a laid-back Chihuahua who enjoys staying close by. They are well-socialized and can provide companionship for visiting dogs when appropriate. My home is set up to accommodate a variety of needs and routines. I have three individual crates with comfortable bedding available for dogs who are crate trained or require confinement, and you are always welcome to bring your own crate if it helps your pet feel more at home. While my own dogs enjoy free access to the house and are allowed on the furniture, I am happy to follow your pet’s established rules and routines, including using gates or designated areas if needed. Although my yard is not physically fenced, safety is always a top priority. My dogs are never outdoors unsupervised, and the same standard of care applies to every pet I watch. I have a large, open yard that provides plenty of space for exercise, and I regularly walk dogs on a leash around the property and in the neighborhood. If your dog is most comfortable on a leash or tie-out while outside, I am more than happy to accommodate those preferences. All of my dogs are current on their vaccinations and receive routine veterinary care. I pay close attention to changes in their health, behavior, and overall well-being, and I bring that same level of attentiveness to every pet in my care. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will treat both your home and your companion with the utmost respect. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, training, household rules, and daily routines to ensure your pet experiences as little disruption as possible while you are away. At bedtime, I am happy to follow whatever sleeping arrangement your pet is accustomed to, whether that means sleeping in a crate, on their own bed, or sharing a room with me. My goal is to maintain their normal routine so they feel secure and comfortable. My boyfriend and I live together, but I will be your pet’s primary caregiver. He may occasionally assist if I need to step away briefly, providing additional supervision and support, but all communication and primary care responsibilities remain with me. For added peace of mind, I am certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR. You can trust that your pet will receive attentive, compassionate, and responsible care throughout their stay.
“I was incredibly anxious to leave my also anxious dogs at a “strangers” house for the very first time, but MJ was so kind and assuaged my anxiety by keeping in great communication. My girls had a very fun time at the farm and I know that I have a safe option now to leave my puppies when I go out of town”

“Todd and Maureen were absolutely amazing. We've never boarded a pet before, but it turned out so well! There was nothing to worry about. They treated our girl as if she was their own, and had dedicated space to let her get comfortable in. They're animal lovers, and it shows. We'd recommend them every time! Thank you for your help, it made all the difference.”

“Ashley is a warm and caring sitter and was great with my shy and fearful girl!! She understood that some dogs just need a place to feel comfortable and she provided that. That being said her farm would be like doggie heaven to dogs that want a fun day! I would definitely use her again and don’t hesitate to recommend her to others!!”

About: We are a Christian home with a very active family! I’m thankful that my job allows me to spend most of my days at home with the kids and dog. Our dog is very friendly and loves new visitors. She’s smaller, but loves the big dogs best! My daughter on the other hand loves the smaller dogs. We will happily welcome them all! My dog and I frequent the dog parks, hiking trails, beaches and walks through the town. I used to be a former 4-H member with my childhood dog, so I’ve got many years experience with training and showing. My love and patience is huge for dogs. I prefer a dog to be kennel trained, and come with a crate but an open to discussion. I am very flexible and I will most certainly work with you with whatever you may need. Look forwarding to meeting you and your pup. We are home the majority of our days, tending to our hobby farm, and enjoying time outside. We have a very flexible schedule, and are willing to accommodate. The dogs are always fed separate, and separated when I leave! Pets are allowed on beds, and couches. They will get lots of time outside with us.
About: I have pet care experience of all kinds including breeding and stud service, shots and weening. We have a large open floor plan with a 4 stall garage to roam. Price will vary if dog is not fully potty trained or in heat during their stay. I am a stay at home entrepreneur allowing me to be present with pets while they are here. I am also a groomer! My husband and I believe this is a great opportunity to be able to love on all kinds of different breeds as our own and a fun way to take care of some of the most precious pets. That being said i will only accept crate trained dogs(for their safety) they need to be able to be crated safely while we are away for a short or longer amount of time. There are no cats or dogs here (unless confirmed by you that its okay to board at the same time as another families pet) so you won't have to worry about your pet getting along with anyone else while they are here. Be sure to check your collars and leashes of any wear and tears before dropping them off💛 tell me about your dog and we will see if it will be a good fit🧡

About: HI, my name is Lenore, - My love for animals began when I was very young... - A few years ago, my Sheltie, Spencer... at 10 wk old, was already highly intelligent, and so full of love. In 3 days time, was house trained, and enrolled in Puppy Pre-School at a local PETSMART. He was such a quick learner, sitting and staying in no time! - Years later, my youngest Son and I, owned registered AKC, Siberian Huskies, and raised and sold 4 litters of puppies. Such fun. - a few other animals I've cared for; dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, bearded dragons, fish, eels, a chinchilla, pet snakes....but said no to a tarantula! Just can't do that one!! - thank you ahead of time for your consideration, you will NOT regret putting your trust in me. - Calm, and easy going are my characteristics, as i have plenty of time, and a big heart, to devote to caring for your companion, friend and family member!! Also being a loving & giving person, my priority would be, to fully enjoy caring for your dog, or pet... fulfilling a desire in me to again have a dog in the house, to care for, to spend time with, talk to, & treat 'royally' (spoil) :)) enjoying every second of the blessing. I will take only one dog at a time unless you have two, who know each other, and get along. That way, I can & will devote lots of extra TLC for your best friend...and will definitely treat them as if they were my own, with utmost of value and importance, how they deserve! About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 12. Family friends woukd trust me to to take care of their cats and dogs when they went away for a while. I would help take care of the house as well. I love to go for walks with my dogs and go about 3 days a week with my dog Remi. I can watch dogs and cats when my family friends need me too. But also work part time at Pet Supplies Plus so I need a bit more time to plan when I work and when I can stop by and take care of pets. I always make sure pets have fresh food and water, follow their normal feeding schedule, provide exercise and playtime, clean up after them, and give them plenty of attention and affection. I also administer medication if instructed, keep their environment clean and safe, and update owners with photos and messages. In a client's home, I respect their routines and care instructions to help pets feel comfortable while their owners are away.

I treat every animal woth the same kindness, patience and love I gave to my own dog. I have a very flexible schedule and I can give pets the attention, supervision and companionship they deserve 24/7! I don’t work so I’m completely free to take care of your fur babies. We travel extensively in our motorhome, but we are based in Michigan. Our Michigan home has an acre of woods for the dog to enjoy. There are no roads nearby and it is very safe and quiet.
About: I am an animal lover. I have had cats all my life, and dogs for most of it. Big, small, furry, I can help you! At the moment I work remotely and will soon start as a substitute teacher, so I anticipate having a fair amount of free time on my hands. I have been caring for cats, dogs for over 30 years (I'm 35 and I've been doing it my entire life). I would love to play tug-o-war, fetch, snuggle with kitty, or whatever they want to do!
“We love having Ava walk our lively Schnoodle. He needs his walk every day, and his humans are sometimes busy or not feeling well enough to take him. We really appreciate her! And it makes Kevin very happy!”

I currently work part-time as a line cook, since school is out for the summer. I will be attending college in the fall to pursue my dental hygiene degree. I make it my number one goal that all pets are safe and entertained, while in my care. I am diligent about making sure that doors/gates are latched and keeping a close on your pet at all times. I want to help keep your pet on their routine that makes them happiest. I’m happy to follow specific instruction in order to make your pet feel at home.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was young. I love dogs unconditionally and love to play with them, I feed them when needed, I can give baths, and I love to take them on walks. My friends and family have relied on me to dog-sit whenever I was available to do so. I’m currently an MSW student and work part time at the moment. Wednesdays and Fridays will typically be completely free all day. Monday, Tuesdays, and Thursdays I work till 5 PM in Grand Rapids. If services are in Newaygo I’m free at 6 PM once I’m back! I LOVE dogs so this is more of a side thing since I just genuinely enjoy playing and taking care of pups :) I have a fenced in yard and a very playful energetic dog. He is very sweet but he is like our baby so we don’t like to bring other dogs in just because he can get jealous and we don’t like to risk it.

About: My daughter and I are dog sitting for two reasons -- we flat out love dogs and my daughter is saving for college. While supporting my daughter's entrepreneurial spirit your dog will get a vacation of a lifetime. Without getting too deep into my resume, here are some highlights: -Handled five police dogs. 1000's of deployments. -Master Trainer for the International Police Work Dog Association. -Developed and taught a unique dog safety program. Have presented the hands on program from everyone to 1000's of second graders to regional UPS drivers. -Recognized expert witness in court on dog tracking, aggression, training, and deployment. -Over 75 nationally published articles on dog obedience, housing, behavior, training, etc. -Tested, certified, and trained working dogs from nearly all 50 states and several countries. (This year I've had dog teams travel to my home from Montana, Florida, Iowa, etc for assistance). I do all this because I simply love interacting with dogs. The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! My private dog training rates, and I've turned down much more work than I've accepted, runs 10x the Rover.com rate we are charging. This is truly a venture that partners up youth business and the love of dogs. Long live Capitalism, dogs, and the USA!

“So communicative and took lots of pics! I was so nervous and new to this and Kelsey was great and patient with me and my pup! Will definitely use her for future sitter needs!”
About: We lost our dog, Sophie, 2 years ago so until we find our next rescue I love watching other dogs to get my "dog fix" I work full-time from 7:30am-4pm Tues-Fri. I do work from home on Mondays and I'm available weeknights and weekends. I'm willing to come to your house or your pet is welcome to come to mine. I live in a quiet development where I can walk your dog easily on sidewalks and we have a large yard to play fetch. We also have lots of dog toys we saved.

“Taylor was amazing! Yesterday was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about my pup being home alone... Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. She then walked him, took pictures for me and played with him enough to tire him out for a bit. She was so good with him anc it was so appreciated! ❤️❤️”
About: I've had pets in my household since I was born, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and fish. I also have animal shelter experience, and I've cared for extended familys' pets as well. I'm currently away at college, but I have two dogs of my own back home. I have some extra time outside of classes and a part time job and am looking to spend that extra time caring for someone's pets, as I miss my own. Depending on how your home is, I'm able to let your pets out for some time outside, give them some playtime, and can feed them if needed.
About: I have had pets my entire life. I knew very young that I wanted to work with animals. I have a great love and compassion for them. I will take great care of your babies! I have a lot of experience caring and working with dogs. I have hobby farm experience (dogs, cats, chickens and a horse) as well. I am a Licensed Veterinary Nurse, therefore, I am educated in many aspects of caring for your pet. I know what to look for in case of illness, injury, etc. I can also do some other tasks, like toe nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I am a dependable, trustworthy person who knows how important your pets are to you. I look forward to caring for your pets and/or walking your dog.

About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life. I’ve had the responsibility of feeding and cleaning them since I was 14. I am very excited to take care of other pets and keep them safe. I feed my two cats three scoops each day (three scoops for each of them), give them lots of fresh water, and clean their litter boxes every day. I not only take care of my pets to make sure they are safe and healthy, but I play with them and have lots of fun with them.

“Michelle was an awesome caregiver for our boxer! Bonnie loved her time with Michelle, and we knew Bonnie was in the best hands possible while we were away from home....Thank you, Michelle!”
