About: I have had pets my entire life. I knew very young that I wanted to work with animals. I have a great love and compassion for them. I will take great care of your babies! I have a lot of experience caring and working with dogs. I have hobby farm experience (dogs, cats, chickens and a horse) as well. I am a Licensed Veterinary Nurse, therefore, I am educated in many aspects of caring for your pet. I know what to look for in case of illness, injury, etc. I can also do some other tasks, like toe nail trims, ear cleanings, etc. I am a dependable, trustworthy person who knows how important your pets are to you. “Taylor was amazing! Yesterday was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about my pup being home alone... Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. She then walked him, took pictures for me and played with him enough to tire him out for a bit. She was so good with him anc it was so appreciated! ❤️❤️”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud rescue dog parent with over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I know firsthand how tough it can be to find affordable, trustworthy help—especially when juggling a busy schedule. That’s what inspired me to become a Rover sitter: to offer dependable, compassionate care for your pets when you need it most. My two pups (a spunky senior Jack Russell/Heeler mix and a mid-aged Husky/Heeler) keep me active and on my toes, and I frequently care for my sister-in-law's dogs as well. I’m experienced with dogs who need a little extra TLC, including those on special diets, daily medications, or unique routines. Whether you need someone to drop in for a quick potty break or want your dog to feel at home while you're away, I treat every pet like family—with patience, attention, and love. I'm flexible! I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule during the days. I work about ~10-15 hours a week and don't have a set 9-5 type schedule. I can do my work whenever, wherever! About: My daughter and I are dog sitting for two reasons -- we flat out love dogs and my daughter is saving for college. While supporting my daughter's entrepreneurial spirit your dog will get a vacation of a lifetime. Without getting too deep into my resume, here are some highlights: -Handled five police dogs. 1000's of deployments. -Master Trainer for the International Police Work Dog Association. -Developed and taught a unique dog safety program. Have presented the hands on program from everyone to 1000's of second graders to regional UPS drivers. -Recognized expert witness in court on dog tracking, aggression, training, and deployment. -Over 75 nationally published articles on dog obedience, housing, behavior, training, etc. -Tested, certified, and trained working dogs from nearly all 50 states and several countries. (This year I've had dog teams travel to my home from Montana, Florida, Iowa, etc for assistance). I do all this because I simply love interacting with dogs. The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! My private dog training rates, and I've turned down much more work than I've accepted, runs 10x the Rover.com rate we are charging. We have a large open floor plan with a 4 stall garage to roam. Price will vary if dog is not fully potty trained or in heat during their stay. I am a stay at home entrepreneur allowing me to be present with pets while they are here. I am also a self taught groomer! I will only be booking appointments on days that I can be fully present and involved with the pets scheduled. My husband and I believe this is a great opportunity to be able to love on all kinds of different breeds as our own and a fun way to take care of some of the most precious pets. * I am available for drop ins(potty breaks and walks) in the hudsonville-jenison area on Tuesdays and Thursdays aswell! There are no cats or dogs here (unless confirmed that its okay to board at the same time as another families pet) so you won't have to worry about your pet getting along with anyone else while they are here. Our yard is not fenced but we do have fenced in areas.Be sure to check your collars and leashes of any wear and tears before dropping them off💛 If your dog is medium-giant we prefer them to have a calm demeanor (couch potato) if not,but this is not a requirement 😉 tell me about your dog and we will see if it will be a good fit🧡

About: Hound Town Dog Sitting (owned by Kelly!) is a registered LLC in MI. We are insured, we are equipped for pet first aid, and we are recommended by two of West Michigan's best dog trainers: Captivated Canine & Kaitlyn's Dog Training! We have a large fenced back yard as well as over 1.5 acres of unfenced yard for walks and sniffing activities. We have three of our own dogs: Amos, a 7yr old beagle-basset hound mix (neutered), Elsie a 4 year old Beagle (spayed), and Zuzu a 2 year old Chiweenie (spayed), as well as aa super friendly orange and white tomcat named Rupert and a whole flock of noisy chickens! We will make sure your doggos have lots of love and attention, regular walks, playtime, attention, and of course owner-approved toys and treats! Kelly (Hound Town Dog Sitting's owner) works for herself as a wedding photographer and videographer. She makes her own schedule and can be flexible when needed! In our own home we have both a large fenced yard as well as .5+ acres of unfenced yard for leashed walks. When we go to your home, we wear a name tag so we are easily identifiable, and we can provide references and a background check through Rover. We also will happily send regular photos and/or videos to owners for updates!

About: We lost our dog, Sophie, 2 years ago so until we find our next rescue I love watching other dogs to get my "dog fix" I work full-time from 7:30am-4pm Tues-Fri. I do work from home on Mondays and I'm available weeknights and weekends. I'm willing to come to your house or your pet is welcome to come to mine. I live in a quiet development where I can walk your dog easily on sidewalks and we have a large yard to play fetch. We also have lots of dog toys we saved.

About: I am an Animal Behavior College graduate where I studied canine behavior and training. I have lots of experience with both working and training through difficult dog behaviors and dogs with high anxiety and fear towards different things. I have had pets my whole life and would love to meet yours! I have tons of experience with administering medications, nail trims, bathing, and daily grooming and would be happy to help provide those for your pets. I have worked at the Humane Society Of West Michigan and have volunteered at the Kent County Animal shelter where I absolutely loved working with every kind of dog or cat you could think of! I have a very flexible schedule seeing as I make my own work schedule. When I am watching your animals I never leave them for longer than 2-4 hours unless I have an event that we have previously discussed and gone over. I have a boxer and a pitty at home! At my home I have a fenced in yard for my dogs and anytime they are outside of the fence I also make sure they are long leash and would do the same for your pups! I never leave an animal unattended while outside just in case something were to happen. I also do not leave them unattended with a toy that they could possibly swallow or ingest and cause choking. I’m all eyes, ears and cuddles when it comes to both my pets and yours!

About: I have always loved dogs but since getting my own puppy, my love for them grew even more. I am that girl that stops you on the side of the road to pet and love on your puppy. I work 2 12 hour shifts in a row so the days I’m not working I have pretty open. I have a very routine schedule and would love to incorporate walking your dog into it! Since having my own puppy, I am able to understand when he is comfortable and when he is in need of something. I always make sure he is comfortable and happy.
