“Tasha takes our two dogs Cody and Tobey for walks every week. Cody is a difficult one as he is a large yellow lab who is older and grumpy and can be aggressive. Tasha is patient yet persistent when it comes to caring for him. Her pictures and texts about the results of the walk always make my day.”

About: I have kept exotic reptiles since I was 10 years old. I currently have 5 reptiles, 6 amphibians and a 15 year old dachshund. I have pet sat my friends two cats multiple times and also work at Essex County Turtle Back Zoo! I have lots of experience and knowledge and passion for animal care and would love to provide services to all pet parents out there! I spend a lot of my time as is with my pets and feeding and caring for my wide variety of animals. Pet care is something I take pride in. I own a car for transportation and am comfortable visiting other houses for pet sitting, walking etc. Based on the care I provide for my own pets, I am not only dedicated to providing a safe and watchful environment when pet sitting, but I am also used to catering to specific needs of certain animals. My older dog at home Waffles needs special care such aa food and medication, and each of my reptiles and toads have different lighting necessities and food requirements. I am equipped for all types of care!

“Dana was excellent with my fur babies, as usual. I really appreciated the visits over Fourth of July, especially with one of my dogs being nervous with fireworks! Even my shy kitty has warmed up to Dana and has made a new best friend! We will continue to use Dana in the future, she is the best and I know my babies are in good hands!”

“You cannot get any better sitter than Kayla. She is just awesome taking care of animals. Did she mention to you that she works with animal as career. My dog injury himself while playing when we were away for 2 weeks+, a normal sitter likely would panic, and the emergency bill coming back would be crazy. Kayla is a vet tech, she was proficient and she took care of my dog wound when we were away. Remember, you have peace of mind enjoying your vacation, knowing that Kayla cares your animals well. No need to worry when you are away.”

About: There are very few things I love more than dogs. Friends & family say I'm the dog whisperer due to my undeniable connection & love that I have with every dog I come into contact with. I have a lot of experience rescuing, training, caring for, & loving dogs. I also have experience nursing sick dogs back to health. I used to work at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, in South FL, in their behavior department & prior to that was in the Animal Care department as a kennel tech. I am comfortable around any kind of dog or cat & have the experience necessary to provide your animals with the best care that they deserve possible. My rates & prices reflect the extensive experience that I currently have. I am currently not working, so I have more than enough time during the week & the weekends to be able to spend time with your pets. I’ll just need about a few days notice as my schedule is subject to changes. I will care for your animals in your home however you tell me to and I will follow all directions to the letter to make sure your animals are taken care of the way they are used to.

“First time using Rover and I couldn’t have been happier with Victoria. She is very kind and empathetic to my dog. I couldn’t have been happier with her. I’m looking forward to more doggie dates with Victoria”

“Monica provided excelent care for my babies. She found a rapport with the dogs, so despite our absence, they remained playfull and calm, they ate, and did not destroy anything in the house. Usually, they are real monsters when we leave for more than few hours.”

About: I’m a cat lover and I have two fur babies Lua (3yo) and Lilah (9 months) they are the best part of my day and they bring so much happiness to our lives that I want to open the doors of my home to take care of your furr baby too. I work as a part time 2 days a week, so I’m at home most of the time. I have plenty of time to take care of your babies. I have my own fur babies so I know how difficult it is to find someone to take care of our babies when we need to be away. So I’m here to make your life easier so you can take care of what you need too while they’re with me.

About: I have had a Siberian husky in my family at home in New Jersey for about 6 years now and I am often taking care of him. I have also taken care of my brother’s kitten for a few weeks. I have been frequently asked to take care of pets of friends and family while they are away on vacation, where I have either stayed with the pet for a few days or dropped in multiple times each day to care for them. I just graduated from URI and I am now permanently living at home in New Jersey, and I do not work full time yet so I have a lot of availability. I love to go on walks and play with pets, I am open to traveling to anyones house. As I do live with my family, I am not able to have any pets boarding at my own house but I am able to go to others.

“Toni was absolutely amazing!! She communicated and asked questions and gave my dog his medications with ease. Made our trip so much easier knowing Rocky was getting such good love and attention. Thank you Toni!!”

About: Hi, my name is Lovie. I’ve been pet-sitting for the past nine years! Growing up, we always had animals, including cats and dogs. It all started when I cared for my sister’s dog and gradually became the pet sitter for everyone in the family, including their friends. I feel incredibly grateful that I get to watch over everyone’s animals, and hopefully, you’ll entrust me as your pet sitter as well! My schedule is incredibly flexible. Since I own my own business and work from home, I can accommodate anyone’s schedule. Working with your pet won’t interfere with my work because I plan my schedule accordingly. I also take them for a few walks daily, depending on their exercise limitations. I strictly adhere to the food they’re permitted to consume! I understand the challenges of having a dog with sensitive health issues. My sister’s dog fell ill towards the end, so I gained valuable experience in caring for dogs with health restrictions. I shower them with love and affection, but also respect their need for personal space when required.

About: I previously had a basenji. A family member of mine also owns a pet store, so I love and am around animals all of the time :) I am a teacher. So I can currently only work on the weekends. However, in the summer I will be available 7 days a week. I am super low-key and amiable. I have loved dogs my whole life and am happy to be around them. If you tell me what works best for your dog, I am more than happy to do whatever works best for them!

Alexa B.
“Alexa is my older sister. From day one and as long as I can remember she has always had an extreme compassion for animals. She would constantly beg my parents for another dog or another puppy, even though we already had one. She treated our dog, Kuma like it was her own personal baby. About 2 years ago, Alexa decided that she wanted a dog of her own. But not just any dog. She really wanted to rescue a puppy who really needed it. She proceeded to go on Craigslist and find the sketchiest ad for puppies up for sale and that's the one she went with. She got this puppy named Andy. Andy was beyond sick as a puppy and till this day vets are mind blown as to how this dog survived, let alone is as healthy as she is. Alexa will love and care for any animal like its her own. ”

Kailyn G.
“I am writing to recommend my friend Kailyn Gardner as a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter and dog walker. Having known her for eight years, I can confidently say that she is an exceptionally responsible and caring individual with a deep love for animals. Kailyn has two wonderful dogs of her own, and formerly cared for two cats as well. The way she provides for their pets—ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well-exercised—shows a natural attentiveness and dedication that any pet owner would appreciate. Whether it’s taking her dogs for regular walks, managing feeding routines, or providing enrichment and affection, Kailyn consistently goes above and beyond. I’ve personally seen the bond she shares with animals and how quickly pets warm up to her. Her calm and nurturing demeanor, paired with real-life experience managing multiple pets at once, makes her a fantastic choice for anyone seeking reliable care for their furry family members. If you’re looking for someone who is dependable, patient, and truly passionate about animals, I wholeheartedly recommend Kailyn as a pet sitter and dog walker. Your pets will be in excellent hands. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.”

Lovie D.
“Lovie watched our 5 year old chihuahua for nearly a week while we’re away on vacation. We were nervous at first being our first time leaving the dog with someone other than family but all our worries quickly vanished when we saw how great she was with our baby! Our dog is typically very picky but she took to Lovie so quickly we almost couldn’t believe it. Lovie kept her on her special diet and made sure to send us updates multiple times while we were away. We couldn’t recommend her enough!!”
