About: Experienced with small and large dogs, from Maltese to Malinois and Golden Retrievers. Reliable teacher who loves walks, playtime, belly rubs, and caring for pets. I am a teacher on summer break. I am available mostly weekdays, but open to weekends when free. I would only have to leave for an hour to go to the gym. I enjoy getting outside for walks during the day and love taking dogs to parks and open trails for fresh air, exercise, fun, and adventure.

About: I’ve cared for many different animals from ants, to large horses. I personally have 2 dogs, 2 horses and a cat that i care for everyday, and Family members as well as family friends have trusted me to care for their animals properly! I am a stay at home mom, so as long as I don’t have an appt then I can be with your pup or cat whenever! As long as i am welcome to stay with your dog in your home then i definitely will! i am comfortable with you having cameras in the household as well!

About: I have taken care of dogs for many years! I have taken care of my family’s dogs and my friend’s dogs before plenty of times. As of right now in my house hold I have 4 dogs and 2 cats. I adore animals! I love to play with them and walk them! I love watching dogs and I’d love to take care of yours! I love playing with dogs and walking them! I also love meeting different dogs! I would love to care for your animals! I would make sure your dog goes out every couple hours or whenever you need me to let the out. I would feed them, I would clean up there messes if they have any. I would walk them and play with the for you. I would also stay as long as you need me to at your house!

About: I've been surrounded by cats/dogs for my whole life. In addition, I pet sit yearly. I have been around all ages of pets from puppies/kittens to senior pets. I am currently in nursing school with gaps in my schedule I am wanting to fill. I have most weekends and evenings off and early mornings. Each day is unique so I have opportunities on different days for different times. I let my cats roam where they want to go and check their bowls for food and water frequently. I brush my cats out and show them affection each night as well as checking and cleaning their ears and paws.

About: I've been taking care of dog for as long as I can remember. I'm able to take care of/ watch dog from puppies to seniors. I've watched dog with and without disabilities, and I know how to administer medications from pills to shots. I also know how to preform cpr and the heimlich if needed. I currently have a part time job and work 4 to 5 days a week from 9am to 3:30-4. I always will try my best to work around my schedule to accommodate my clients needs. I'm very respectful of my clients homes, and I follow rules that they set of me. I like to keep my clients updated on what's going on with plenty of photos, and I always try to make sure the fur babies I'm watching have a good time.

About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, and through those years they interest me more and more. I had/have multiple cats and dogs, and the connection with them has been something I couldn’t imagine not experiencing. Plus, the knowledge I have gained from being around familiar animals makes me feel I would love experiencing new things with other pets, and get to know their unique personalities. With that being said, I am open to almost any training/service necessary for your dog(s) or cat(s) needs and would love to get to know your fuzzy family! I’ve just started school, and my classes are every weekday from 5:30 pm to 10 pm, just so you’re aware if that contradicts any booking requirements you need. I have my own pets to take care of, but other than that I don’t have consistent routines that would get in the way of the times and dates I’m available. For drop-ins, I will do feedings, outdoor/potty time, and get to know your pet(s). If there’s any questions or other service not noted that you’d like to ask I can do, I would be happy to answer. Walks- I do at least 15 minute walks, and up to 90 minute walks. More characterized questions, such as walking area or what certain necessities your pet(s) needs can be discussed once I have contact/a schedule with you.

About: I enjoy taking care of a variety of pets, and have helped care for many over the years. I have experience from everything as small as hamsters up to horses. I currently have dogs, cats, ferrets, and a horse. Many friends and family have relied on me for advice or to care for their pets. I’m available most days any time after 8am for pet sitting or dog walks! I can also do multiple drop in visits throughout the day! Normally at home I feed the dogs dinner, my mother does breakfast! I also take them out for walks around the yard. In your home I would do whatever is asked, and clean up any messes made.

I’m currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule. I am easily able to work around whatever schedule you and your pet require. I have a big yard and love giving animals the play time, walks, grooming, and cuddles they deserve. I try to keep pets in a routine they are used to and comfortable with.

I am also available Sundays for in home, drop in, or dog walking needs I can be of service in anyway that is needed! While I’m not able to provide care in my own home, I am able to complete safe drop ins, sitting in the pets home, or dog walking if needed.

I have open availability after 2pm on weekdays and flexible availability on weekends, making it easy to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and extended care as needed. I prioritize safety, comfort, and routine whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home. I closely follow feeding schedules, leash guidelines, and any special instructions provided. About: They call me that because once you start feeding squirrels, birds, stray cats, neighborhood dogs walking by, and maybe a raccoon & possum once or twice, like me, then you’ll start to befriend them. Soon after it’ll start to feel like animals are attracted to you (but it’s mostly because I give them food lol). I go by Janet and I love animals from feathery to furry. I have 4 birds, 7 cats and 1 turtle (all rescues). I know that with the proper care and instruction I can take care of any friend! New update from November 2025 - I’m back on Rover after a year-long hiatus and accepting new clients in the Chicago land area and northwest Indiana. 😊 My husband and I moved into a house with a spacious backyard in Lansing, Illinois. I’m open for arranging pick up and drop off as I do have a reliable transportation. Lastly, a meet and greet at my home would be ideal so your pup(s) can meet my husband, who will be there a majority of the time, and get a feel of where they will be staying. But rest assured I will be 100% responsible at all times for your pup(s) while under my care. I currently work from home. I set my own schedule, so I’m available to work whenever I am needed including mornings and weekends. Preferably daytime and Fri - Sat date night evening. I care for pets by making sure to thoroughly read care instructions and immediately contacting the owner by either call or txt if I have any questions. And most importantly by never letting them out of my sight!
