“Our family had to go out of town for a funeral without a lot of notice. We had never left our kitties with a stranger before and we were pretty apprehensive about it. But from the first meet and greet through our return home, Kayla did so much to put our minds at ease. Here are some highlights: At the first meeting, it was obvious that Kayla loves animals. I wanted someone here for them whose heart was truly in this job, and her’s really was. She also not only answered all of our questions, she asked some that we weren’t even thinking about (lights, plants) and took detailed notes. While we were gone, Kayla kept our kitties fed, gave one of them his medication, which we expected, but she also took lots of pictures and sent updates about her time with them. And gosh, I loved these updates! They were detailed, and some made me laugh, these updates also kept me from worrying about my pets during a time when I had a lot going on. I would absolutely request Kayla again and I would certainly recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter. We came home to happy and well cared for babies!”

About: Hello! I am Jessica, a trainer and handler of 18 years. So as my headline suggests, dogs are actually my life. I have spent most of my adult life handling and training dogs of all backgrounds, temperaments, shapes and sizes. I had a successful training business of 10 years and also do k9 search and Rescue with my beloved border collie, Arlo. About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life. From the best well-behaved dogs to troublesome puppies, as well as a heavily medicated seizure-prone dog, I’ve seen a lot. Greyhounds, pugs, mutts, etc, I’ve either had or cared for a wide range of breeds. I have owned up to 5 dogs at a time as well as up to 4 cats. I do have some training experience with puppies as far as obedience and walking, and have dealt with many dogs that pull on-leash or are reactive.
