“I have used Shelbi for nearly a year, and I’ll never use another sitter (if it’s up to me). She’s so caring and good to my furbabies and she goes ABOVE and beyond to make sure they’re safe and happy when I’m away. 100/100, DO RECOMMEND!”

“Krystle did a great job caring for my two 5 month old kittens. She was timely in her communications and consistent with her drop in visits. I appreciated the pictures she shared too. I was confident they were in good hands and was able to enjoy my time away. Will definitely book her again!”

“Emma was wonderful with my cat while I was away! She made notes every day about how she was doing, and made sure to always update me with pictures and videos. Will 100% rebook her in the future!”

About: All my life I've been interested in animals. I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. Sometimes I feel I understand animals better than people which helps me provide specialized one-on-one care to meets your beloved pet's needs. I want to ensure that they feel as safe, comfortable, and well-loved with me as they do with you! I'm currently taking some online classes, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Right now I have a lot of time Fridays-Mondays which I would love to spend taking care of some special pets. I don't have access to a fenced-in yard currently and would not be able to host a dog to the best of my ability. I've taken care of cats at my house, however, and have found that they quickly feel at ease in my home environment. My kitty passed away last year, unfortunately, but I am home often and will provide as much company and attention as your pet desires. I want them to know they have a friend in me.
About: I am an animal lover with a bias towards dogs! I have had dogs of all different breeds and sizes throughout my life (including Rottweilers, Basset Hounds, Pitt Bulls, Doberman Pinschers and St. Bernards), and I can truly say that pups make the world a better place! I would love to walk or care for your fur-baby. I understand the sacred bond that an owner has with their animals, so you can trust and believe that your dog will be treated with the utmost love, respect and professionalism. Rain or shine, I can be available to get your dog exercised and back to your home safe and sound. I would love to meet your pet and to make your life a little easier. See you soon!
“I am so grateful that I found Kayla on Rover. We had a meet and greet and my animals really took to her. She has a very calming and gentle energy that really connected with my two dogs and 2 cats. She agreed to do a drop in visit for me while I was out of town for an extended day. She tidied up after my stubborn Frenchie, took care of their food needs, got them some sunshine and exercise and sent some adorable photos. I am so happy and have already set up another sitting with Kayla.”

“Ashley was amazing with our two cats. She’d always let me know when she was on the way over to our house and gave me an update on how the cats were. We'll definitely have her over again when we go out of town.”

“Karen is absolutely amazing! She is dependable, reliable, and went above and beyond what was expected of her! She took care of my babies for 10 days, sent tons of pictures to me and gave personalized feedback after each visit!”

“Taylor was an amazing sitter for our 2 dogs and cat. We had a stressful and emotional wedding get away and knowing the pets we're in good hands was a huge relief. Her check ins went exactly by the schedule we planned and she provided several photos at each visit. She quickly responded to any questions I had during our time away. We are excited to have her close by and available to help in the future!!”

“Mandy did a great job with Jake, my cat. I was confident that he was being well cared for and Mandy did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable. This was my first time using a pet sitter and I was very happy and will definitely use Mandy again for my next trip.”

About: I am currently working as a dog bather and graduated from MVCTC Animal Care and Management. I have experience in small animals and basic training. I am currently working part time so I have lots of availability. I am available anytime on Mondays and Sundays and after 5 Tuesday- Saturday. Times and dates are flexible. I love to cuddle up with any pets if you or your pet would like. I can also easily crate pets and feed them on specific schedules as well as providing fresh water.
“Isabel is my favorite. I have used her pet sitting services a few times now and she is always super friendly, reliable, and sweet to my cats. I think they missed her more than me when I came through the door after vacation!! They do get treats from her more often anyway 🤪 she’s the best, even going as far as to let me know when my mail/packages arrived and put them in safe places for me. I’m super glad I found a sitter I can trust for vacations and small trips. Thank you Isabel!!!! 🩵🥳”

“Britany is absolutely amazing. This was my first time leaving my fur babies and I had no anxiety because they were in her care. Communication is great and she is now my go to for caring for my babies.”

About: I have always grown up with pets and enjoy all our furry friends. I am passionate about making their short time in our lives the best it can be. I am happy to find a time that works for both of us to care for your pet. I am willing to work around my schedule to accommodate their needs. I have a dog at home that my roommate rescued. She is such a loving puppy who needs lots of attention. On the days my roommate is at work I take her on walks and make sure she's fed and gets lots of playing time.

About: Hi! My name is Maranda, and I’m a huge animal lover currently studying veterinary technology. I also have prior experience with animal welfare where I care for pets daily and help make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while away from home. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and getting to know each pet individually. Whether your pet needs playtime, walks, medication schedules, extra patience, or just lots of attention and cuddles, I’m happy to provide personalized care. My veterinary studies and hands-on experience working with animals have helped me become comfortable recognizing normal behavior, following care instructions carefully, and staying calm in different situations. I also have experience with feeding routines, cleaning, basic grooming, and handling anxious or energetic pets. I know pets are family, and I’ll always treat your pets with the same love and care I would want for my own. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family members and give you peace of mind while you’re away! I currently work a flexible schedule at a pet hotel, so my weekly availability may vary slightly until my schedule is posted each Thursday. However, my shifts are typically around 5 hours, which still allows me plenty of time to provide reliable pet care, walks, drop-ins, and attention throughout the week. At home, I care for my dog by making sure she is safe, comfortable, well-fed, exercised, and given lots of attention and love. At Clayton Pet Hotel & Spa, I help care for dogs and cats by monitoring behavior, cleaning, feeding, supervising playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while away from home.
“Sierra is VERY good with cats! (Or at least with mine!) I appreciated the daily updates on her bm's, urine outputs, and daily photos! It helped me not worry so much about being away. I plan to hire her again in the near future!”

“Taylor is absolutely amazing and we will be using her again!! We couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience! She took excellent care of Luna and Red while we were away. She made sure they were fed, had fresh water, got plenty of potty breaks outside, and most importantly, gave them lots of love and snuggles. She sent us photos and updates, which really helped us relax knowing our dogs were happy and well cared for. She exceeded every expectation. I accidentally mixed up and changed the schedule several times, and she was incredibly patient, flexible, and understanding throughout the entire process. Luna and Red were clearly comfortable with her, and it was obvious she genuinely cared about them. We will absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy sitter! Highly recommend!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Englewood
Anthony was great and very responsible. He got along really well with my cat and made me feel comfortable leaving her in his care. Before the drop-in visits started, he even suggested meeting in person so I could go over the basic instructions with him. Over the next three days, he did a great job taking care of everything—playing with my cat, cleaning the litter box, and making sure she was fed. I really appreciated how reliable and attentive he was, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter.

Krystle did a great job caring for my two 5 month old kittens. She was timely in her communications and consistent with her drop in visits. I appreciated the pictures she shared too. I was confident they were in good hands and was able to enjoy my time away. Will definitely book her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
