Her setup is on a large piece of land that has clearly been customized specifically for pets. There are multiple fenced-in areas where dogs can safely run freely, and it gave me a lot of peace knowing my dog had space, structure, and proper care. Her communication could not have been better. Every time I texted her, she responded within minutes and fully addressed whatever concern I had. I also noticed a real difference in my dog after coming home. Before the stay, my dog would just come up to me and act excited when she needed to go outside. Now she actually cries to be let out, which is much easier to understand. She also seems to pull a lot less when I take her outside, so it honestly feels like some obedience training happened during the stay too. The kennel is climate controlled, the property is very well set up, and Kristen clearly cares about the dogs she watches. She even gave my dog special treats like pup cups with peanut butter and whipped cream. I was honestly worried my dog might not want to come home. If you want to leave your dog somewhere and not have to worry the whole time, this is the place.”

About: I have always had cats for as long as I can remember! Cats somehow always find their way to me and I am so glad to be a person they can trust. I personally took care of my aging kitty for 22 years, which involved a lot of checking in on litter box visits, daily medications, and ensuring he was as comfortable and loved as possible. My oldest kitty was recently diagnosed with asthma, so I will soon have more experience with kitty inhalers. About: I have always been a lover of any type of animal, but dogs would have to be my favorite! My entire family has always owned an animal of some sort, and I currently have 2 dogs. I believe that no good will come out of a rushed walk and no enjoyment will come out of one either. Healthy length walks lead to better mental health and well-being for your dog. I can provide leashes and baggies if needed, and as long as there are no specific allergies or rules, I will bring treats along as well. I enjoy animals and the care that is involved in making sure our fur babies are safe and happy! I would love to work with you and your dog! I will be starting back at Sinclair on the 22nd of August, However most of my classes are online, so there will be plenty of time for walks, drop in sits, etc. My family has a huge fenced yard that our two dogs love to sun bathe/play in. The dogs enjoy getting at least 2 walks a day around our neighborhood, sometimes to JDs Frozen Custard for pup cups!🤎

“Kayla was awesome! My dogs are very “needy” (lol) and require a lot of time and attention. I needed a day where I could just solely focus on work and getting things done. Also, they hadn’t had a bath or groomed in awhile and their fur was starting to get matted so thought I’d get that done also. I messaged Kayla asking if she was available that week to watch them/bath & brush them. She offered to take them immediately that day! She was very nice when I met her and made me feel comfortable. She took so much care and time with grooming them while also making sure they were comfortable to make sure that she got all the matts out that she actually kept them until 9pm with no extra charge. She also kept me updated every step of the way. My boys came home so soft and clean and I could also tell she tired them out because they both came home and went straight to sleep. She sent me lots of photos of them playing which made me happy to know that they had a great time!”

About: Hi there, my name is Kristen and I have a slight dog obsession. November 2025 started year five of me owning and operating a pet care company that is listed as an LLC in Ohio, and I have loved every single second of it! While on a walk your dog will be my sole focus. I will be sure to select a different route (if possible) during each walk to help them get familiar with their area, but to also help stimulate their brain with the different scents. If you have multiple dogs that need to be walked separately, for any reason, I will rotate my routes so that each dog is exploring a different area instead of where their fur sibling just was. I am happy to go as fast paced, or as leisurely as Fido wants to take our time together. My typical drop-in (play date) visit consists of the following: enter and greet your beloved furkid who will be totally excited to see me (hello treats!- only if it's okay with you first), and then take them outside to potty. While outside I am happy to play fetch, or any other activity they're interested in. Once we come back in I check the water/food situation, and am happy to take care of any medical needs that may be required at this time from giving pills to injections. There's time for a snuggle, or a game, and then it's one last potty break before I head out for the morning or afternoon. I send detailed Rover cards after every visit, and will include as many photos as possible. For boarding and daycare we are located on 30 acres in Tipp City, with 6 private fully fenced dog parks to choose from. We have 10 kennels, and pups are kenneled during enrichment and overnight with an on-site team member who stays with them. Disney Channel + YouTube classical music plays while pups rest in their kennels between private park playtime and playgroup. I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. We spoke about the time being 12noon and that was not a problem. The first day (Monday) she was here on time, the next 3 days she arrived at 1pm. 1 hr later then discussed. Then Friday morning she texted us stating she was stuck at a house she was cleaning and was not gonna be able to make it. My wife had to rush from work in Sidney to take them out, then rush back. Keep in mind we had already paid for the entire week.”

I have experience caring for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and getting to know each pet individually. Whether your pet needs playtime, walks, medication schedules, extra patience, or just lots of attention and cuddles, I’m happy to provide personalized care. My veterinary studies and hands-on experience working with animals have helped me become comfortable recognizing normal behavior, following care instructions carefully, and staying calm in different situations. I also have experience with feeding routines, cleaning, basic grooming, and handling anxious or energetic pets. I know pets are family, and I’ll always treat your pets with the same love and care I would want for my own. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family members and give you peace of mind while you’re away! I currently work a flexible schedule at a pet hotel, so my weekly availability may vary slightly until my schedule is posted each Thursday. However, my shifts are typically around 5 hours, which still allows me plenty of time to provide reliable pet care, walks, drop-ins, and attention throughout the week. At home, I care for my dog by making sure she is safe, comfortable, well-fed, exercised, and given lots of attention and love. At Clayton Pet Hotel & Spa, I help care for dogs and cats by monitoring behavior, cleaning, feeding, supervising playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while away from home.

“Kristen did an excellent job, and I highly recommend her. I was a little hesitant at first because of the pricing, but once I realized what was included, it made complete sense. Her setup is on a large piece of land that has clearly been customized specifically for pets. There are multiple fenced-in areas where dogs can safely run freely, and it gave me a lot of peace knowing my dog had space, structure, and proper care. Her communication could not have been better. Every time I texted her, she responded within minutes and fully addressed whatever concern I had. I also noticed a real difference in my dog after coming home. Before the stay, my dog would just come up to me and act excited when she needed to go outside. Now she actually cries to be let out, which is much easier to understand. She also seems to pull a lot less when I take her outside, so it honestly feels like some obedience training happened during the stay too. The kennel is climate controlled, the property is very well set up, and Kristen clearly cares about the dogs she watches. She even gave my dog special treats like pup cups with peanut butter and whipped cream. I was honestly worried my dog might not want to come home. If you want to leave your dog somewhere and not have to worry the whole time, this is the place.”
