I provide frequent potty breaks, plenty of attention, and a safe, fully fenced yard for dogs to play and relax. My goal is to make your companion feel comfortable, secure, and right at home while you’re away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and look forward to giving them the care and love they deserve. I’m home all day, so your dog will never be left alone for long periods. This allows for frequent potty breaks, playtime, and lots of one-on-one care. I care for pets in my home by keeping a calm, safe, and loving environment. Dogs are given frequent potty breaks, plenty of attention, and access to my fenced yard for play and fresh air. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, and any special instructions, so they feel comfortable and at ease.

My 2 kitties are both females and reaching ole age of 15 yrs. Golden G stands for the Golden Girls!!! But we luv boy doggies too. I pet sit for my neighbors and they are the ones who suggested I offer my services out. They will be my best references. I cared for fish, hamsters, bunny's and even pet chickens. Luv them all. Can't watch animal kingdom, even though its nature, breaks my heart. I love furry babies and could not even imagine life without them. Luv luv 💓

About: I have done short term small dog sitting, (including feeding, walking, playing) and learned that I prefer checking in on pets in their own home environment. I have been a cat mom, only a dog aunt, and though I find them both lovable, I prefer to care for the felines. Cats rule…😎 My experience has ranged from kitten births to end of life care and holding through the euthanasia process. I’m a retired snowbird, available November through April yearly. My schedule is flexible, all days of the week and weekends, working around clubhouse activities with limitations on driving before daylight and after dark. I will offer drop in services only. I am prepared to follow pet parent instructions on the care and feeding preferences for each individual pet. (Including brushing, feeding, watering, scooping litter and cleanup if needed.)

“Megan is a natural. She and Calvin "bonded" immediately. Calvin suffers from a bit of separation anxiety, and we are uncomfortable leaving him alone. The last 2 times we tried, he escaped from his crate and, on the last occasion, destroyed the blinds in one of the bedrooms. As he is just over 1 year old, and based on research, he will probably calm down as he ages. Having Meg here yesterday for a couple of hours was a trial to see if he would be OK with a stranger--not quite a stranger since they met the night before. Megan took Calvin for a walk with no trouble. Calvin is headstrong and decides when he wants to lie down on his walks, and, sometimes, it's rather difficult to get him up. Megan handled that issue as a professional. We have had Calvin since June when our grandson brought him from Texas to us. Calvin had been abandoned and was very thin, dirty and sad. Our grandson is in college and couldn't keep Calvin. The Austin area, where our grandson lives and goes to college, in Texas had no shelter space for Calvin. My wife and I made arrangements with the Suncoast SPCA in Englewood to shelter Calvin, but when our grandson brought Calvin to us, that idea went out the window. He's a very loveable dog, and he has some interesting traits such as rarely barking. He's been easy to train. Everyone and every dog who has come in contact with Calvin have liked him. Megan was a perfect fit.”
