About: I have had experience caring for pets my entire life, including dogs, cats, fish, rats, and guinea pigs. I am comfortable with the day-to-day care and routines that come with looking after different types of pets. Former IT professional turned stay at home dad. Full time availability give or take a few odd hours here and there. Happy to provide pet services of any kind of Forested property - so barks aren’t an issue. I have a fenced in yard as well as crates that could be used as needed as well as plenty of rooms so everyone can have their own space.

About: Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a love for animals and a soft spot for every furry friend I meet! From volunteering and rescuing animals to working in veterinary hospitals and caring for my own fur babies, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m a Veterinary Assistant with hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and exotic animals. I’m comfortable with medications, special needs, senior pets, and providing the extra patience and care some pets need. When you’re away, I want you to feel confident knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of love and attention. I’m happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, playtime, cuddles, and regular updates so you can relax while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to spoil your fur babies like they’re my own! I just moved to the area and am currently not working so I have plenty of time and love to share with your furry friend. I completely understand the importance of a routine for our babies to stay happy and healthy. I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable in their own environment, which is why I love providing in-home care. Staying in their familiar surroundings allows me to keep their normal routines as consistent as possible while you’re away. Depending on your pet’s needs, in-home care can include feeding, fresh water, walks, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, medications, litter box care, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I’ll also follow any specific instructions you leave so your pets can stick to the routine they’re used to. While you’re away, I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would my own. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your fur babies are happy, safe, and well cared for.

“Mylissa was very sweet, patient, and deft with our dog, even when the dog showed signs of aggression. She was very open to working with us on a care plan that works best for everyone, and we are grateful to her.”

I am a very active person and playful. I have so much love to give out to all animals! I have had a lot of experience taking care of furry friends. I am very patient and have experience with frighened, nervous, and even agressive animals that just need more compassion. I also have experience with taking care of livestock, including llamas! Unfortunately, I'm not able to have fun with furry friends 24/7, but I am still flexible and usually don't have issues working out schedules that are needed. For overnight booking, I definitely prepare to be there majority of the time. I love my let's very much and they are a good mix between inside and outside dogs. I pretty much give them free will to pick. They always sleep with me at night. I have lots of land to play on. In a client's home, I will follow any instructions or rules they ask. Otherwise, I try and do what is best for the pets and make them comfortable and I have no problem cuddling and sleeping with them too!

About: About Me Hi! I’m Nina 🐾 I’ve been around dogs my entire life and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Growing up, my family adopted and cared for several rescue dogs of all different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, including Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Lab mixes, and Shih Tzus. That experience taught me how important patience, consistency, and individualized care are for every pet. Today, I’m a proud dog mom to my mini long-haired dachshund, Nemo, who completely stole my heart 💛 Caring for him has made me even more attentive to the little things that matter to pet parents — keeping routines consistent, providing lots of affection and supervision, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Outside of Rover, I work in professional services within the tech industry, so I’m very organized, dependable, and communicative. I also work a flexible hybrid schedule, which allows me to spend quality time with the pets in my care throughout the day instead of leaving them alone for long periods. My goal is always to create a calm, loving environment where your pet feels at home and where you feel confident knowing they’re being treated like family 🐶 ⸻ Experience • 10+ years of hands-on pet care experience • Experienced with rescue dogs and different temperaments • Cared for breeds including Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Lab mixes, Shih Tzus, and Dachshunds • Comfortable with puppies, small dogs, and senior dogs • Experience maintaining feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty routines, and medication instructions • Frequent photo and video updates for pet parents 📸 • Calm, patient, and attentive approach to care • Flexible hybrid work schedule allows for consistent supervision and companionship You can trust that your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, and personalized care while they’re with me 🐾 I work a flexible hybrid schedule in professional services, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care throughout the day. You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
