About: I have had a cat my whole life, so having grown up with them, I enjoy taking care of them! I also have 3 dogs in my family, a Pomeranian, German Shepherd, and Aussie Doodle, and I periodically take care of all of them. I'm excited to learn about your pet’s individual needs, whether it be spontaneous playtimes, a relaxed brush/petting session, or their favorite foods and treats, I'll be happy to spend time with and get to know your pets. I’d love to walk your dogs as well! Having had pets with different illnesses, I'm familiar with and comfortable giving a cat or dog oral medicine if need be, and I'm used to the messes pets tend to make and am willing to clean up any messes I have pets with unique diets and medical histories, so I'm capable of working around your pet’s personal needs! As a college student who works in retail, pet care will be an as needed activity depending on my schedule for the week. I am willing to work around some schedule conflicts! I will treat your home with kindness and keep it clean for your return. If you have any rules on where certain items belong, please let me know!

About: I have been around animals my entire life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. This includes senior dogs, energetic puppies, and everything in between. Over the years, I’ve provided pet care for neighbors, friends, and family, including walking, feeding, and ensuring their pets feel safe and well-loved in their absence. Currently, I have three dogs—two mixed breeds and a German Shepherd—one of whom I’ve raised from a puppy. I also care for a cat, giving me experience with both kittens and adolescent cats. My passion for animals drives me to provide attentive, compassionate care, and I genuinely enjoy making pets feel comfortable, secure, and happy. I currently work part-time at a pet and plant store, where I work two 8-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift each week. I’m also a student, but I’m not taking any classes this summer, which gives me plenty of flexibility in my schedule. This means I’m available most days for pet sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking, including weekdays and weekends. Pet care fits naturally into my routine—not only because of my work environment, but also because animals are a big part of my life at home. With my open summer schedule and experience, I can reliably provide consistent, attentive care fixed to your pet’s needs. When it comes to house sitting, dog walking, and daycare, I prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being above all else. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs so I can provide care that’s both consistent and reassuring. For house sitting, I treat your home with respect—keeping it clean, secure, and following all care instructions closely. I make sure pets stay relaxed in their familiar environment and stick to their regular feeding, walking, and play schedules. During dog walks, I always use secure, well-fitting leashes or harnesses and choose routes that are safe and enjoyable. I pay close attention to each dog’s pace, energy level, and behavior, ensuring they get healthy exercise and attention. For daycare, I create a calm and engaging environment where pets can play, rest, and feel loved while you're away. I provide frequent potty breaks and of course, lots of affection. I’m reliable, communicative, and truly care about the pets I work with.

I have an open schedule mid-day to nights, as I am in college working 30 hours for my job and going to summer class. I love animals and being outside/active and would love to help make your life easier!! I believe our pets are another addition to our family, and should be loved just as much as any family member. I try to not leave my dogs alone for any more than five hours, but that can be hard to fit into your schedule. I would be happy to help your family in any way!

“I hired Rachel starting a few years back to take care of my Yorkie-Bichon Yoyo. From the very beginning, she was professional, communicative, and clearly passionate about animals. I work long hours, so Rachel helps me when I'm on vacation or temporarily away to let my doggie outside. She sends me regular updates, including photos and notes, which gave me great peace of mind.
