“We booked last minute, Amanda said yes without hesitation, and went back out for an extra trip in the snow—all while dealing with Hudson, who is basically an ornery toddler in a fur suit. You never know what one of his many moods you’ll encounter! Somehow she handled the weather, the schedule, and the attitude with patience, humor, and total professionalism. We’re incredibly grateful and would have her again in a heartbeat(if she will come back 🤣)”

“Excellent! This was our first time using Anne & Joaquin and they were spot on. Our prior long term dog sitter closed during Covid and we had not done much traveling. We have four pups and we were worried about taking a vacation for the first time since Covid hit. Finding Anne and Joaquin was exactly what we needed to feel comfortable. They followed all the instructions to the letter and the kids, house, etc was perfect and as expected when we returned from a week long trip. We found our new dog sitter as life returns to normal and work travel and away from home commitments return. Thank you!!”

About: Hi! My name is Kelly, and I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I grew up with Giant to medium-sized dogs, including Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Mastiffs, Labrador Retrievers, and Australian Heelers. I've also cared for smaller breeds such as Pomeranians, Chihuahuas, and Maltese through pet sitting and dog walking. My caregiving style is patient, calm, and playful. When meeting a new pet, I believe in letting them set the pace. Rather than forcing interaction, I give dogs space to become comfortable, let them approach me on their own, and allow them to learn my scent and presence naturally. This approach has helped me build trust with both outgoing and shy dogs. I enjoy spending time outdoors with pets, whether that's a morning walk, playtime, or simply relaxing together. I have also volunteered with the Pinal County Animal Shelter, where I helped walk and socialize dogs. Additionally, I have worked with Maricopa County's Animal Shelter for their "Tails around town" program, where I would take out and care for adoptive animals for the day, allowing them to socialize and meet their potential new families! Through both volunteer work and personal experience, I've become comfortable working with dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I'm currently a student at Northern Arizona University and have professional experience in caregiving and service-oriented roles, which have strengthened my reliability, communication skills, and attention to detail. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care in their own home, I will treat them with the same care and respect I would give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I'm available whenever your furry family needs me! I'm currently home from college and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to build my routine around the pets and families I work with. Whether it's early morning walks, midday drop-ins, evening visits, or overnight stays, I'm able to adapt my schedule to meet your pet's needs. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to. I love getting to know each pet's unique personality and building trust with them over time. My goal is to provide reliable, consistent care while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are being treated like family. I try to make a pet's time away from their owner feel as normal as possible. Every animal is different, so I don't believe in taking the exact same approach with every pet. Some dogs want to play immediately, while others need time to warm up. Some cats want attention right away, while others prefer to observe from across the room first. When meeting a new pet, I usually let them come to me. I give them space to get comfortable, learn my scent, and interact at their own pace. I've found that being patient and calm helps build trust much faster than forcing attention or excitement. Having owned and cared for breeds ranging from Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Mastiffs, and Heelers to Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, and Maltese, I'm comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether your pet enjoys a morning walk, playtime in the yard, or simply having someone nearby while you're away, I'm happy to meet them where they're at. I also understand that I'm not just caring for your pet but I'm a guest in your home. I make an effort to keep things tidy, follow your instructions carefully, and provide updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands.

“Jacqueline did a great job! We were a little nervous because it was the first time we left our dogs with a sitter. She did what we asked her to do and went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter. We would have her sit out dogs again in the future”
“jessie is awesome!!! so much attention to detail even though i have a pretty laid back critter! my cat absolutely loved her and was very comfortable during my time away! would absolutely recommend, she sends video and photo updates so for people who get anxious leaving their pets (me 😂) she’s perfect!! will absolutely be rebooking with jessie”

“Catherine took care of our 3 chickens. Fed them 2x a day, cleaned/filled water and cleaned pen and coop. She sent texts and pictures everyday with updates. She's easy going and got to know CJ (dog) too. Very reliable and trustworthy.”

“Eileen was absolutely wonderful! Fendi also loved her so much! She gave her a walk each day, took pictures, gave treats, was able to accommodate a slight time change and communicated with me the whole time. Thank you again!! ?”

“Stephanie was great! I booked her for check ins last minute and she was able to make it happen. Loved all the pictures I got, I could tell she took great care of them and I wasn’t worried, they were in good hands!!”
“LaDawn is such a awesome person I appreciate the work she did to make my dog comfortable with her I will definitely book again when I go on a trip my home and dog was safe with her thanks again”

“Bridget was fantastic! She went above and beyond in caring for my dogs, treating them like her own. Not only did she make sure they were well-fed and comfortable, but she also took them on walks, played with them, and gave them plenty of love and attention. The best part? She kept me updated every day with photos, videos, and texts, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I came home to happy, well-cared-for pups, and I couldn’t be more grateful. If you’re looking for a kind, reliable, and dedicated sitter, look no further—Bridget is the best! I will definitely be booking her again. Highly recommend!”

About: You can’t buy love, but you can rescue it ❤️. I grew up helping with 3 labs at home. Now I have 2 rescues that I love more than anything. They rescued me as much as I did them. My love for dogs and all animals is unmatched. My first rescue was said to be too far gone from parvovirus. He was 8 months old and going to be put down. I adopted and treated him at home and he is thriving to this day. I am able to care for dogs basic needs, exercise, give medications-oral, topical, and subcutaneously, bathe brush & de-shed, clip or trim nails, and potty train as well as basic command training. I am available full time Sunday through Wednesday and most Thursdays. Thursday to Saturday vary but my availability those days will be on my calendar each month. I am also very flexible so if you are needing any type of pet care in advance on a day I don’t have availability on, just ask me! I care for all pets daily needs like food, water, and potty breaks. I train my dogs new tricks regularly as well as use treat puzzles and treat toys to stimulate their brains. We play fetch and go on walks for daily exercise. I pick up all the poop weekly, brush and de-shed weekly, bathe clean ears and clip/trim nails monthly or as needed. I care for all pets as I do my own and offer all of these services for your pets as well.
“Cris was an amazing sitter. She took care of my Mindy for a week and she kept me informed every visit with how she was doing and sent lots of pictures. She went above and beyond and made me feel completely comfortable leaving Mindy in her capable care. You can trust Cris to take as good of care of your house as well. Your home will look exactly like you left it, neat and tidy. I cannot thank her enough for taking such good care of Mindy.”

“Amber was an excellent choice! Very professional and on time reports. A very good rapport with Belle, she provided great care and gave us peace of mind during our trip. I highly recommend her.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Eloy. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
