“Sally was great at sending pictures and reporting after each tip. This is the second time we have used her services. She is very professional. I would definitely recommend her.”

About: I have been around and loved different breeds of dogs and cats all of my life. I dog and house sat for my uncle and aunt for years. I do not have a set schedule. I can fit my life around your pet’s schedule and needs. *I also offer constant care for any cat or dog that needs it. I consider constant care being at your home between 20 to 22 hours a day. For that kind of extensive care i will add a $30 fee per day for the first pet, and additional $12 for each pet after that.* For previous clients i offer same day services. However, for new clients i always do a meet and greet to ensure that things will go well and get as much information on your pets as possible. When caring for your pets in your home I will care for them as you do. I will gladly follow any routines and rules you have for your pets. I will follow the schedule and amount for meals. I am fine with the dog sleeping with me or cuddling with me on the couch.

“Thank you Stuart, for taking such good care of Sweet Pea. The updates, and care and great feedback was really appreciated. Anyone would be proud for you to take care of their fur babies.”

“Tori was absolutely amazing with our pup, Rory. Every day Tori sent us the best, most playful pictures of our girl, and we knew she was having the best time. Tori was incredibly punctual, strove for perfection, and her care was spot on. We highly recommend Tori to anyone looking for a Rover sitter.”

About: I’ve done crate training, puppy training, basic manners & obedience training, socializing and helping new pet owners in my late teens and 20s. I participated in AKC obedience, agility and CGC titled many Dobermans & mixes in Chattanooga TN prior to military spouse life. I did professional dog grooming & certified show cuts trained in 2007-2010 before my son was diagnosed with cancer and all my focus was living out of hospitals for years. In 2002-2011 I did TDI certified therapy dog volunteer work with my dobie mix at children’s hospitals and nursing homes. In 2007-2010 I volunteered with Chihuahua and small dog rescue in Denver CO doing home visits. In 2013 I service dog trained a golden retriever In 2019 I service dog trained a Doberman pincher In 2017-2024 I volunteer walked, pet sit, hiked, groomed and nail trimmed for friends family and mostly neighbors. Breeds including boxers, pugs, Boston terriers, chihuahuas, retrievers, doodles, mix breeds, GSDs, labs, vizslas and hounds. In October 2025 we were offered a surrendered doberman that needed an active home and more socializing opportunities. We are working with a much more advanced trainer for her and enjoying hours of hiking - however she’s a puppy and her joints can only handle so much activity and so I’m easing back into exercising pets for others. I can be flexible so always feel free to reach out even if it’s not listed as available, I just don’t want to overbook myself as I still need to have time to drive my son to his activities and jobs and also train my own dobie. I have an awesome dog walker to recommend in Prattville (as I may not always be availability due to son’s medical needs as priority) - search for “Almudena” here on Rover. I personally use her myself as she has working dogs and more advanced level in AKC agility than my own doberman. Or for strict no nonsense board & train I recommend Summer with Sumdogk9 (FB search). As for dog walking and lots of exercise where I am hyper vigilant to keep your pup safe and tired - I am your person! I communicate constantly and always do photo updates. Although I have weekends blocked off to take my son to activities, I do still have availability just reach out. Over the 7th Day Sabbath Saturday, I am happy to take your dog for a walk in nature if I am available, especially if I’m already dog walking for you during the week. In honor of the creation week Sabbath rest - there no charge to help out on that day, just an extra blessing for us both by being a free treat to my regulars I already have a relationship with & know your dog. I’m a stay at home military spouse with a teen homeschooler. I am raising a doberman puppy now that is my primary focus at this time so I just work around her training schedule, my son’s homeschool activities and his volunteers jobs as well as medical appts. I am pretty flexible and am just now easing back into the pet care business after a nearly 15 year break while my son had cancer & long hospital stays he is older and gaining more independence soon to drive and I am able to go back to work which my passion has always been exercising dogs. I remove my shoes when entering a clients home unless they request otherwise. I have very high integrity and will only need access to the dog’s area and a sink to clean any water/food dishes and replenish as needed or instructed. I do prefer martingale style collars for dogs and I am also happy to bring my own if that’s easier. I am present 24/7 with eyes on the pet anytime someone else’s pet is under my care. I am very comfortable administering medications and helping in any way possible. My previous dobie needed daily seizure medication and I’m comfortable with whatever the owner can show me is needed. I do require a free/complimentary in person meet and greet prior to care for the pet as it’s not fair to the pet to have a stranger enter their home that they do not know.
“She was very responsive and was kind enough to bring in packages from the porch and bring our trash bin up the driveway during her visits, even though it wasn’t part of animal sitting.”

“Alyssa did a great job! She was willing to watch my pup on very short notice, and followed instructions very well. I could tell my girl was crazy about her from the pictures. Ill definitely request her again in the future!”

About: I have 2 dogs and 5 cats! An American bulldog and a German shepherd. I also grew up with animals and have cared for mine after several surgeries. I also routinely care for friends pets when they are out of town including feeding, outside breaks, medication and scooping litter. I work part time cleaning houses so I am looking for another part time gig. I do love being around animals so I wanted to give this a try! The best time for me for walks is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday between 9:30-12:30. I could work in something between 1:30 and 2:30 also on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Saturday and Sunday I’m wide open. This may change during summer hours as me and my family do a lot of activities that time of year. When I care for friends dogs i typically go over 3 times daily and let them spend time outside/ out of crate 45 mins to an hour. Should you want a more specific time I am open to it. I feed wet and dry food and follow a medication and supplement routine with them also. I give lots of love and let them know they are good boys/girls and enjoy giving treats!

“Summer is the best!! This being my first time using a pet caretaker online I was confident Summer was the one to take great care of our 2 babies. I enjoyed a weekend with my family with no worries❤️”

About: I started out my dog care experience when I took in my nephew's senior dog after they moved abroad. He was a cuddler that loved running around. I always made sure he was in the best health and lived out the rest of years happily. If you have a playful furbaby, I'm your gal! I love playing and running around with the pups until cuddles are needed. However, if they're more on the chill side, no worries, scritches, pets, and hanging out are always on the table too! I currently work full-time, so I can check on or hang out with your pet after 5:30PM on weekdays. However, I can pack an overnight bag for house-sitting to get to work for the next day if needed. My time is usually open on weekends unless specified otherwise! :) I do not have a fence, but live in a quiet area with a huge yard. If they are trained well with callbacks, they'll have a blast running around. I love playing with dogs and am good about keeping an eye out for any toy destruction. Taking care of my senior dog, I took him out every morning, afternoon (had a family member do this during weekdays) and evening. I made sure we got a lengthy walk/run in before water and cuddles were calling to us. For cats, I love lounging with them and giving them all of the love and affection they deserve. If they're shy, I never force them to come to me. I wait for them. If there's anything in particular training-wise and things related your pet needs, please don't hesitate to let me know.

About: I have had pets my entire life and I can't imagine life without them! I have had dogs cats, snakes, hamsters, and reptiles so I am very comfortable with all pets! Your pet will be treated just like my children and loved just as much! I will send you pictures and text every day of how much fun and loved your pet will be. There is nothing I won't do to make your pet happy!
“Sidney was amazing! Constantly communicating with us and sending pictures. Tux (cat) loved having someone over while we were away, and we loved the peace of mind so we can enjoy our vacation. I definitely recommend her!”

About: Hi there, thank you for checking my profile out, it’s a passion of mine to care for and learn everything when it comes to animals. I love being able to provide attentive, safe, trustworthy and happy care, as I myself definitely understand being a picky pet parent! Let me know if there’s anything I can help out with, I’m always willing to take on new clients as I’m flexible and love to learn more. Caring for each animal mean they will be always supervised while giving the most care and love that I can offer. Animals are so different and each approach is individualized to the animal and client’s happiness!
