About: Hi! I’m Alicia. I’m a second grade teacher and lifelong Fort Wayne resident. I’ve had pets my entire life, but currently have none of my own, so I’m looking forward to babying yours while you’re away! I am very flexible during the summer, school holiday breaks & weekends, but I also continue Rover services during the school week as well. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, so I’m grateful for the opportunity to offer them a quiet, kid-free, pet-free, low-stress environment to settle into while you’re away. I’m extremely reliable, caring, and patient. Whether your pet needs medication, a consistent routine, or extra time to warm up to someone, I’m happy to adjust to whatever works best for them (and for you). Whether I’m with them for a drop-in or overnight stay, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Plus, I love to take pictures and document our adventures, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos while you’re away. Feel free to reach out to set up a time to chat or schedule a meet and greet! As a teacher, my summers are especially flexible for drop-ins, daycare, and overnight stays. When school starts (August-May), I’m limited to before and after school drop-ins, but always open to schedule overnight stays at your house or mine especially on weekends or holidays! At my house, your pets will be the only pets in the home, so they’ll get all of the attention they deserve! My house is pet-proofed and I’m very committed to ensuring your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for.

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 8. I love all animals but especially dogs. I’m an RN but in my free time I love being outdoors and going for walks. I work part time. So I have plenty of free time to spend with your beloved pets. I love going for walks and being active outdoor I have a fenced in yard and live in a quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for walks. I have the sweetest lab to keep your fur baby company with playing or napping.

About: I've had animals in my life for as long as I can remember, and loved them so much I built my career around it! I'm a professional zookeeper who has experience with cats, dogs, rabbits, frogs, snakes, lizards, parrots, and more! My professional experience has given me a lot of experience as well with monitoring for medical issues and providing medication. I am also an experienced animal trainer with expertise in operant conditioning and positive reinforcement training. About: I am a mom of 2 college-aged kids. I work from home and have time and love to share. I have owned my own pets since graduating from college. My family has been blessed with multiple dogs, cats, horses, goats and chickens. We no longer live on a farm but live in a very animal-friendly subdivision with abundant sidewalks for dog walking. My daughter and I are animal lovers and have fostered 4 puppies and numerous adult dogs waiting for transportation to their furever homes. We also volunteer seasonally with the Humane Society of Cozumel and assist with spay/neuter recovery. We welcome the energy that 4-legged visitors bring to our home. We have an adopted, aging chihuahua mix who is not very active. I would love to talk to you and meet your babies before either of us makes a commitment. Of course, it has to be a good fit. Your confidence and trust in a pet-sitter is crucial. I believe I can be the one to love and care for your baby like you do. I live in the Sw suburbs and have a large fenced backyard that backs up to a wooded area. We have lots of great sidewalks for taking long walks with little traffic. I work from home online Monday through Friday. My schedule is flexible and I enjoy the company that dogs provide. I can provide plenty of outside time and playtime during the day. I have a large fenced in backyard. I also provide walks in my neighborhood or yours. The activity level is dependent on your pets needs. I always feed dogs separately.

About: I'm extremely patient with any dog. I always make sure they fell comfortable around me before I do anything! I am a strong walker! I also know how to make the most out of any time spent with a dog! Pet care is my number one priority for an animal I take care of! I will always make sure that the animal is the top priority when we go anywhere. I always put the dogs safety before my own. I will watch for other dogs and loose animals when we go on walks. When sitting in the past I let the parent know of the times I let the dog out or do anything with the animal. I will send many cute pictures for updates of what is going on!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for family friends and neighbors since I was very young. I also have a lot experience with cats, as I own two myself! I graduated with a B.A. in environmental and marine science in 2023 and worked as a zookeeper for two years. I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet! I am available during mornings and evenings depending on the day I am not able to care for pets in my home. Both of my cats are quite old and do not do well when around other animals.

About: Growing up I’ve always had a love for animals. We had a range of different pets, you ask and I probably had one! I have worked a few years in a grooming salon. Friends and family have made me the go to person to pet sit for them when it’s needed. I enjoy it every single time and can’t pass up the opportunity. I have three dogs and one cat of my own. “Be the person your dog thinks you are.” Pet care is my focus on a full-time career. About: I am an animal lover! I’ve taken care of cats and dogs of all ages for families and friends for over 25 years. I am most experienced with cats, and currently volunteer weekly with Cat Care at Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control. I also have limited experience caring for livestock, including cows, goats, and pigs. I currently work a part-time job every other weekend (Saturdays and Sundays 3-11pm). I also nanny for a family on Tuesdays 12-4pm and Wednesdays 9am-4pm. I will do my best to be flexible based on your needs! I love spending time with animals, whether that is curling up with a good book and a cat in my lap, playing with toys and watching them have the zoomies, or taking dogs on a walk. About: I have cared for cats and dogs my whole life! I've personally had 5 dogs and 5 cats (at different times in my life) and I've cared for many more! I specialize in caring for bigger dogs such as Pit Bulls, Rotties, and Great Pyrenees, I love animals and want to see they get the most loving and compassionate care! I live in a townhouse attached to an apartment complex where I have a small fenced in yard and an available dog run. About: I am here to treat your fur babies as if they’re my own! I have two kitties, Titten and Max, so rest assured that I will give your fur babies the same kind of love and care I give them. That means your fur babies will receive tons of love and many pets! I’ve taken care of numerous dogs and cats from various walks of life. For example, I started taking care of a rescue dog who was incredibly skittish and afraid when we first met. It took a few visits, but he warmed up to me and now lets me pet him! I will always follow your instructions meticulously, and I’ll be sure to ask questions if I don’t understand something fully. My ultimate desire is to love your fur babies well, and help you maintain their routine while you’re away. Thank you for trusting me with your animal(s)! I am currently pet/house sitting part time, as I do work retail (roughly 20 hours a week). My shifts are rarely longer than 5.5 hours, though. I still have ample time to spend with your animals. They’ll absolutely have lots of time to play and receive so many pets! I will follow your instructions meticulously to ensure your pet(s) feels safe, loved, and well-cared for! Same goes for your home! I will always clean up after myself.

About: I've taken care of dogs (and cats) since I was in high school. Friends, family, neighbors, and others have relied on me to feed, walk, play with, and provide medication and other health management to their pets. I also personally care for my own special needs dog who has Addison's Disease. I just completed my first year working as a Speech Language Pathologist in the school system and would like to keep active and earn additional income by helping take care of others' pets over the summer :) I will do what is necessary to provide the best care possible to your pets and follow any directions you have. About: I have grown up around pets my whole life. Currently I have a small Havanese and a cat, but if it were up to me I would have a-lot more! I have previous experience watching my neighbors Basset hound and Rottweiler for weeks at a time while they were on vacation. This consisted of many walks a day, feeding the dogs, picking up poop out of the yard, and staying the night at their house. I also have pet sit for a family with two Yorkies, a Chihuahua and a bunny. One summer I nannied/ dog sat for a family with a toddler and golden doodle three times a week. One unique experience I have is caring for a blind and deaf elderly dog. I had to watch her while she went to the bathroom, carry her up the stairs, feed her separately from the other dogs, and pick her up when she fell. I believe that I can tackle any challenge and give your pets the best care they deserve! I am currently a student with classes in the mid morning. I could let pets out/ dog walk in the morning before class and I am free in the afternoons and able to stay overnight if needed. I would take into consideration my surroundings in a house before taking my eyes off the animal. I don’t plan on watching animals in my own home so I would trust that the owners provide a safe environment for their pets. I would have a meet and greet with the owner and pets prior to watching them to fully understand what the owner expects of me.

About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had an animal in my life. I got a puppy at a young age and cared for him up until the day he passed. Since becoming an adult, I adopted a kitten and continue to care for him. He is now 6 and the light of my life! I have an extremely flexible schedule! I currently work part time with a lot of availability. I’m available at almost any hour of the day. I currently have a cat but he has his own space if tensions were to rise. I have a mid sized unfenced yard, but I know of multiple dog parks. I’m available to cuddle up with animals or wear out some energy!
