About: Some people call me DogDude. I've loved and rescued dogs my entire life. Thus far I've rescued over twenty, and I had nine at the most at one time. I even had two beds pushed together so all nine could sleep with me. It was furry and chaotically wonderful. Seven of those original are gone, and I miss those days. I've worked with puppies, and one rescue was even pregnant. I saw her through the pregnancy and adopted all the pups except the one I kept. I've also worked with and rescued seniors. I lived in Puerto Rico for three years, and I rescued two there and flew them back when returning to the states. I adopted a sweet old Cocker Spaniel from a program in Michigan. Her owner had been murdered by her ex-husband in Detroit. I could go on, but suffice it to say, most of my rescues have interesting stories. My most recent came from a ditch in Tennessee. It would be a pleasure to work with you and your pet(s). I'm an avid hiker with a membership to Eagle Creek. I've taken dogs out hiking with me and living doing so, if clients are comfortable with that. My availability varies, as I also own and operate a small business I operate from home and work at a brewery. I'm very flexible, though, and will work and communicate with clients to the best of my ability. At this time, I do not offer in-home pet care at my home. I'm only available for taking care of pets in your home. Thank you.

About: My husband and I have a long history with dogs - and we currently have two Golden Retrievers aged 6 and 5! Zeke and Toby are friendly, ornery, and love new friends! Both are neutered, and Zeke is crated while sleeping and when we are gone. We have had various friends and family dogs come stay with us, including a Great Dane! Therefore, we are we well versed in large or small breed needs. I grew up with a dog that had both diabetes and Cushing's disease and am well versed in providing insulin injections if required. I currently work full-time partially from home with various days I must leave. I am gone no more than 5 hours at a time, and that is typically only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I am typically home full time on Mondays and Fridays. We have a large fenced in yard with lots of running area and lots of neighbor dogs. Our pups are allowed on all furniture and beds. Zeke is a true retriever and LOVES to eat anything and everything - so we actively ensure there are no open doors, trash cans, or small items that can be eaten or swallowed. Zeke is crated and we are able to crate a dog as needed.

About: I have over 2.5 years of professional pet care experience at a busy boarding facility, in which I took care of dogs and cats, plus extensive personal experience caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits. Not only that, but I have a special interest in canine ethology, which carries over into my everyday life. Currently, I have two rabbits and have raised seven kits (baby rabbits) myself, along with caring for a total of nine rabbits over time, all now happily homed! I’ve also grown up with and raised a variety of dog breeds in my 21 years of life —from an 180 lb European Great Dane and another Great Dane rescue, to two Cocker Spaniels, an Irish Water Spaniel, and a Cavalier Spaniel. Right now, I share my home with a Great Dane named "Bmo" and an Irish Water Spaniel named "Butter" alongside my two bunnies, who were mentioned previously. We are definitely a Spaniel and Great Dane home if you can tell :). This hands-on experience gives me a deep understanding of different temperaments, needs, care routines, handling, and training. Although I have not had the honor of raising cats in my home, or growing up with them side by side -- I do have personal experience in caring for neighbors cats', as well as my professional experience in caring for cats at a boarding facility, here in Indiana. I’m comfortable administering medication, managing feeding schedules, and adapting to each pet’s personality. What sets me apart is my genuine passion, patience, and commitment to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I’m currently available full-time, as I have parted with my commercial pet boarding job to focus on 1 on 1 care... which means I can offer flexible scheduling, whether you need early morning visits, midday check-ins, or evening cuddles! I’m used to the rhythms of feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving pets the attention they deserve on their schedule, not mine. I prioritize safety and comfort above all. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I create a calm, secure environment tailored to each pet’s needs. Please feel free to "info dump" on me, as I closely follow your instructions for feeding, exercise, and medication, and I’m always attentive to changes in behavior or health. In my home, pets have a clean, quiet space with plenty of fresh water, toys, and cozy spots to relax. When I visit your home, I treat it with respect, leaving everything exactly as I found it while ensuring your pet feels safe and loved. Building trust with both pets and their owners is my top priority—so you can relax knowing your furry family member is in caring, capable hands.

“Jerry is one of the biggest animal lovers I have ever met. I have known him for over 30 years and he has stayed in our home numerous times to take care of our dogs and cats and home. He loves the animals like they are his own! He loves taking the dogs on walks/hikes. He loves letting them snuggle and sleep with him. He has rescued dozens of dogs and some cats over the years and they have had better lives because of it. I always know my animals are in good hands when he is taking care of them.”

Amy M.
“Amy is incredibly caring and considerate with animals, especially dogs. Her two most recent dogs, miniature dachshunds named Molly and Tiller, were treated just like her own kids. She was always playful with them and looked after them day and night. She now enjoys travelling to see and take care of her "grand-dogs," Bodhi and Gordy. I can't imagine anyone being a better caregiver for someone's pet(s).”

Thomas B.
“I have known Thomas all his life. I have seen him interact with all the dogs they have had in their home. Plus, the two I have had in my home. He is a very loving and caring young man. He is responsible and loving and is a great dog caregiver. He has just this year, gotten his own dog – I have seen him care for her, train her, love her and enjoy her. He will do a great job with your dog if you choose to hire him to be your dog’s caregiver.”

Maria D.
“For the last 5 years,Maria has helped us out with pet sitting, house sitting and most importantly taking care of our kids. She is responsible, organized and truly cares for the kids and fur babies. She is definitely trustworthy and reliable. I completely trust her in my home and with my family. Our go to every time we are going away and don’t want to stress our pets out with unreliable kennels.”

Darren S.
“Darren has always done an excellent job of taking care of my pets! He is reliable, trustworthy and my cats adore him! If you are looking for a pet sitter we highly recommend Darren!”

Caitlin B.
“I left my Great Dane with Caitlin and it amazes me how knowledgeable she was. She was attentive to my baby and I like how she was able to him on walks. I was in a it of pickle since I had the state last minute but I was referred from a friend of mine, so I really appreciate her. Thanks Caitlin 😊”
