About: Since I was 14, I’ve been responsible for taking care of my own dogs and those of my neighbors, family, and friends. I come from a large dog family, from a Great Pyrenees to Labs and German Shepherds, but I’ve also been able to care for smaller dogs in my neighborhood. About: I’ve been watching dogs since I was about 8, I’ve been responsible for bathing, giving medicine and making sure they are well loved while owners are away. My duties at this job include walking, feeding, administering medication, and caring for the overall comfort of the dogs we board. I love dogs and have always enjoyed working with them. I have my own leads but I have experience walking dogs with harnesses and other such devices. It might sound silly, but I understand the importance of proper harness application and know that if it is put on incorrectly this can lead to major issues. After 7 years of working at the kennel I am confident in my ability to read animal behavior and know what a dog is comfortable with or not.

I have worked with dogs in the veterinary field, training, and doing therapy work. I can also care for cats, reptiles, birds and your other pets. I have worked for an animal sanctuary where we had many different animals. I was in charge of the infirmary there and medicating all the animals as far as any sick or injured animals and monthly flea and tick treatments. I cared for animals there from the very small, winged, scaly to the large cows and horses.
