Cassidy has been outstanding for me. From day one she came across as friendly, responsive, and easy to talk with—she earned my trust with my dog’s care right away. She’s punctual, professional, and consistently provides excellent, attentive care; my dog is calm and happy after every visit, which is undeniable from the photo updates she sends during walks and once he’s back home. Scheduling remains smooth and flexible; when a conflict comes up, she gives generous notice and, when possible, proposes alternative times that work for both of us. A true blessing for any pet parent. Highly recommend.

About: Since I was 10, I've always loved watching and caring for dogs and other animals. I started by helping neighbors with their pets—feeding them, taking them for walks, and making sure they felt safe and happy while their owners were away. Over the years, I've learned to understand animals' moods and needs, whether they're playful, shy, or anxious. This experience has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to create a calm environment for pets. Because of this, I would be a great sitter—I know how to keep animals comfortable and cared for, making sure they get the attention and love they deserve when their owners can't be there. No matter the animal i’ll be there for them! I worked at a pet store for over a year which taught me a lot about any sort of animals and their health. Since I already have a puppy with my own schedule, i’m totally used to juggling pet care! I know how to fit feeding, walks, playtime, and rest into my day, so adding care for another pet would just be a bit of extra love and attention. My experience with my own pup means i’m great at keeping routines steady and making sure every animal feels cared for. It fits naturally into my schedule because im already a pro at managing a furry friend’s needs! Besides my pup, I balance that’s with a box turtle, two hedgehogs, three leopard geckos, two cats, and at my parents house I take care of their two dogs, and two fresh water fish tanks. I can take care of animals in lots of ways depending on what they need. Whether it’s walking them to make sure they get exercise and fresh air, house sitting so they have company and someone to watch over them, or just stopping by to check on them to feed, play, and give them attention, I’m ready to help. I understand how important it is to keep their routine consistent and make sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away.

About: I've cared for all kinds of animals throughout my life from my own animals to my friends and families. I always was the first of my siblings to volunteer to help feed, walk, watch over, bathe, and learn about animals and it's since been a passion of mine. I work part-time so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets in my free time. I the sweetest cat,Olly, so I definitely get creative with indoor/outdoor activities. I have a variety of cat toys that your animal will have access to (depending on your preferences), puzzles and home made interactive games so your pup will constantly be entertained and hopefully tuckered out when returning home!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. From a young age, I helped watch and care for neighbors’ and friends’ pets, which taught me how meaningful—and rewarding—pet care truly is. Today, I’m a proud pet parent to three animals of my own, and I also have two young children, which has deepened my patience, attentiveness, and nurturing approach to caregiving. I believe in more than just meeting an animal’s basic needs—I strive to provide enrichment, comfort, and a happy, loving environment. I have hands-on experience with feeding, walking, general grooming, administering medications, cleaning litter boxes, and using positive reinforcement training. I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m very flexible with my schedule! My little man will be with me during any morning or day time visits so animals must be okay with children. I’m very attentive with my own animals. I make sure they don’t get into anything and pay close attention to their needs. In any circumstance I would provide the same level of care to someone else’s pet.

Feeding, bathing, grooming, walking, playing, etc. I have one dog of my own, and had one prior who was handicapped and paralyzed, so I have decent experience. I am good to work with any breed or size of dog. I am pretty decently flexible, as I work mornings from 5:30-10, and then anytime after I am 100% free 7 days a week! Feeding, bathing, grooming, walking, playing, simply spending time with, etc. in client’s home for in-home visits. Depending on the task, I can do almost anything needed.

About: I have been a babysitter for over 20 years. Most of the families I worked with had pets, dogs or cats. I have had cats of my own over the years but now I help my mom take care of her 2 dogs. I recently moved to Newport News so I have a completely open schedule. I am already cooking fresh food for my mom's dogs and walking them regularly. Come join us. I prepare meals for my mom's dogs weekly. I research foods they can and cannot have to make sure they are happy and healthy. I also walk them 3 times a day minimum. There is a dog park on the premises but they mostly just sniff around :).

About: Hi 🐾 My name is Juliana, and I’m a passionate and reliable pet caregiver with a strong background in animal care. I graduated from NC State with a degree in Animal Science, where I built a solid foundation in animal health, behavior, and welfare. I also spent two years working at a veterinary hospital, where I gained hands on experience caring for dogs and cats in a professional setting. During that time, I assisted with handling all different kinds of breeds, monitoring their health, and making sure they felt safe and comfortable, especially in stressful situations. This taught me how to read animal behavior, respond calmly, and provide attentive, compassionate care to each unique animals needs. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and genuinely attentive to each pet’s unique needs and personality. You can feel confident knowing your pet will receive safe, loving, and personalized care while you’re away, along with plenty of updates and peace of mind for you as I would want for my own pet! Right now, I’m in a transition period before shipping out for the Air Force, and I’d love to spend that time doing something I genuinely enjoy—caring for animals. Whether it’s pet sitting, dog walking, or just giving your pet some extra love and attention, I treat every animal as if they were my own. As a pet sitter, I prioritize the safety, trust, and environment of every pet that I care for, whether they are in my own home or in the client's home. When caring for a pet in the client's home, I take the time to thoroughly assess the environment and identify any potential hazards or risks. I make sure that the pet has access to fresh water, food, and a comfortable space to rest. Overall, my approach to caring for pets is centered on creating a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment that promotes their well-being and happiness.

About: I love animals of all breeds, temperaments, and age. I promise to greet and treat your animals as if they were my own. Being a pet owner myself I realize how difficult it is to leave your family members home. I will do my best to make this experience as easy for you as possible. I will send updates and pictures with every visit. I service the local area (Camden, Shiloh, Elizabeth City, Currituck) with pet sitting needs and pop in visits. I work in Elizabeth City M-F from 5-1. For this reason I would recommend only sending a request if your animal is also used to being on a working schedule (left 8+ hours). I will supply visits before and after my working hours. We can discuss specifics based on your location. I will follow your rules as if you were home. I will treat your animals with as much love and affection as I would my own. If you use certain commands, I will too. If your dog isnt allowed on the furniture, I will uphold your boundaries to the best of my ability. If your dog licks your face and lays with you on the couch, I'm cool with all the snuggles.
