About: I have loved animals my whole life. I’ve had animals around since I was in diapers. I rescue them to this day! I have three rescues in my home and I provide top notch care, just read my reviews. I treat everyone’s pets as my own. I’d be happy to care for your furry friends Anyday!!! I’m a stay at home mother of a two year old boy. I have plenty of free time to take care of my home and animals and your animals too! It would be easier for everyone for me to watch your pets in MY home or do drop ins at your place. I have a separate area for cats. My dogs typically roam upstairs and the cats play downstairs in their own little sanctuary. I like to make sure every one is comfortable <3 I have a large yard for dogs to run around in and a small dog run area that’s fenced in. I’m open to keeping your dogs inside my home that way I can keep a good eye on them but if they want to hang out in the yard that’s fine too. I do enjoy going to the dog park so if that’s okay with YOU then I’m open to that which is right around the corner from my house (lucky me:) I’m very experienced with use of kennels for training too. I have a lot of experience with all animals and that gentle nature they’re attracted to.

About: Hey everyone I'm Ella and I've always had a house hold full of pets. Growing up my parents allowed a wide variety of animals to stay in our home. I love animals so much that I'm going in to a career field that is dedicated solely on the help of marine organisms. I currently live with a dog, cat, bearded dragon, leopard gecko and a ton of fish. So basically I can care for any pet needed. I work part time so I have a ton of free time on my hands. I’m trying to find better ways to spend my time rather than always going out. Hanging with any pet is always so fun and usually a better time then going out to begin with! Each pets different, all come with special likes and dislikes. I usually love to take dogs for walks but some may not be able to walk, and in those situations I like to do mind puzzles. For pet sitting I’d come over to the clients home and spend a few hours with them unless it’s a sleep away care. Pet walks would last min 30 minutes just to give the dogs some fresh air longer than normally done during days.

“HIRE CHRIS. I won the lottery with him. It was my first time using Rover. I have a special needs rabbit who needed a caretaker after a rabbit boarding service was no longer available. I messaged several sitters and Chris was the first to respond. He is responsive and communicative. What I absolutely love about Chris, among many things, is that he asks questions. Not in a "what do I do" kind of way. Rather, "how do I do this to make sure it's done correctly". My special needs rabbit is on a specialized diet. I left Chris with instructions, which he followed to a tee, but he also sent a photo of the food. (My rabbit is feed very soft, watered down pellets and Critical Care due to recent dental surgery). I'm happy that he did because my rabbit can't chew on pellets. He sent lots of photos of Moo, too. Chris was also flexible with the initial meet 'n' greet appointment and visiting my landlord's office to pick up my front door key (which has to be loaned out). One of the reasons I chose Chris was his close proximity to my apartment. I will 5000% hire Chris again for my rabbit sitting needs. He took great care of my very special needs rabbit and Moo liked him too! I recommend him for your pet sitting needs, including small mammals!”

About: I have had a dog my entire life. I have worked as a dog bather in the past for 8 plus years. I get alone with all dogs and make friends with everyone I meet. I like to get to know and meet all new dog family members. I watch family members dogs often when they go out of town. I am free everyday to take care of anyone dog that needs care and love. Right now I’m available anytime needed just not at night when I might be asleep I take my own dog for a walk everyday around the neighborhood. About: For the past 2 years I have fostered dogs through Fetch Wisconsin Rescue. With rescue dogs, I first focus on decompression, resiliency and relationship building. If you have a puppy or a rescue dog who you are just starting to build a relationship with, I can support you! In June 2023, I adopted an adolescent Alaskan Husky on an emergency basis. He & I are active learners in the Susan Garrett "Recaller" and "Wag Nation" training. If this style of games-based training sounds interesting to you, I'd love to help you build consistency and confidence in your pup! A lot of what I do with pups is informed by the Resilience Rainbow (popularized by the Behavior Vets) and pattern games (popularized by Leslie McDevitt). As a staff member with the Dane County Humane Society, I continue to grow my understanding of how to implement these practices with dogs who are new to me. I would love to contribute to your peace of mind by supporting the peace of mind of your dog while they are with me during your time "away". I work from home as a medical interpreter on the phone/video. This means that I can pepper my day with direct dog supervision and targeted practice on growing skills. I also have 3 5x5 kennels and very large crates for down time, if indicated. I would really like to consult with you about how to manage "down" time for your dog. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture at my house. I do have two resident cats, but/and they do not share spaces with the dogs I have either foster, own or care for. My house has a fenced in yard (6 foot fence). I also live very close to our recreational bike path, and if you are interested, I would be happy to talk about whether canicross or biking options are appropriate for your dog. I also live within a 5-minute drive from the Prairie Forest park, a huge wooded area where dogs can be off leash. For dogs in my care, however, I could offer the option of using a long line to take them on a sniffari in the park. I am also vetted to enroll in the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Professional program. I plan on starting my studies formally once my working dog is recovered from an acute Lyme infection. If you are interested, I could offer to work with your dog (along with video-taped sessions) as part of my studies.
