Madison handled it like a pro, she seeked guidance from the vet who confirmed what seemed to be happening. She adjusted his food intake to help him keep food down and made some other changes which fixed the problem! Goose, their dog, was a wonderful big brother to Cooper and they all gave him love like he was their own. Cooper was taken on lovely walks on trails and to the dog park and Goose also shared his antlers with Coop which is now his favorite thing to chew! We were very happy with the care given to our crazy little kid and Madison went over and beyond!”

About: We have had a dog or dogs for over 20 years. My husband and I both grew up with dogs as well. Our two dogs have been with us since they were puppies and both of them attended three levels of dog training classes. I work part-time very early in the morning and we spend a lot of time at home because my kids are homeschooled. There is usually always someone at home. I will do as much as I can to accommodate the dog owner’s preference in care for their dog. We have two dogs that can play with your dog. If your dog needs to be in a crate I can accommodate that. Our dogs are not allowed on the couches and chairs but my children do let them sleep in their beds.

“HIRE CHRIS. I won the lottery with him. It was my first time using Rover. I have a special needs rabbit who needed a caretaker after a rabbit boarding service was no longer available. I messaged several sitters and Chris was the first to respond. He is responsive and communicative. What I absolutely love about Chris, among many things, is that he asks questions. Not in a "what do I do" kind of way. Rather, "how do I do this to make sure it's done correctly". My special needs rabbit is on a specialized diet. I left Chris with instructions, which he followed to a tee, but he also sent a photo of the food. (My rabbit is feed very soft, watered down pellets and Critical Care due to recent dental surgery). I'm happy that he did because my rabbit can't chew on pellets. He sent lots of photos of Moo, too. Chris was also flexible with the initial meet 'n' greet appointment and visiting my landlord's office to pick up my front door key (which has to be loaned out). One of the reasons I chose Chris was his close proximity to my apartment. I will 5000% hire Chris again for my rabbit sitting needs. Over the last 10 years, friends, family and neighbors have entrusted me with taking care of their dogs. 2 years ago, I took on the venture of fostering dogs in my home. My experience with them has been with puppies through adult dogs. Special needs dogs are welcome too, as I have experience with dogs with seizure disorder and other chronic issues. During the time the foster dogs are in my care, I work to establish a routine, learn basic commands and household manners. I work from home Monday-Friday. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

About: We have had a dog or dogs for over 20 years. My husband and I both grew up with dogs as well. Our two dogs have been with us since they were puppies and both of them attended three levels of dog training classes. I work part-time very early in the morning and we spend a lot of time at home because my kids are homeschooled. There is usually always someone at home. I will do as much as I can to accommodate the dog owner’s preference in care for their dog. We have two dogs that can play with your dog. If your dog needs to be in a crate I can accommodate that. Our dogs are not allowed on the couches and chairs but my children do let them sleep in their beds.
