“Vicki was very professional and so sweet to both Baxter and me. I trusted that Baxter was in great hands, really reduced any stress I was feeling about using a new sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Chase was fabulous. He took great care of our dog and home, and sent us so many wonderful photos. Having a dog sitter hasn't always been easy for our dog but Chase made it effortless. We will definitely utilize his services again. Peace of mind is priceless. Many thanks!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I currently own two cats, and a horse. I’ve been responsible for the care of horses, goats, llamas, dogs, and cats, for my family as well as friends. I work from home, so as long as you have internet, I can keep your animals company during the day as well. I will have to leave for a few hours to take care of my own animals. I do not offer pet care in my home (my cats take a long time to adjust to newcomers). I can feed and take care of your animals at your residence

“Karen-Joyce did a wonderful job pet sitting for us on a long weekend trip! She was very detailed in learning about our needs beforehand, and very communicative. It's easy to tell how great she is with dogs. While this was our first time using Karen-Joyce as a sitter, we immediately felt confident after our meet & greet and had no hesitations. She left our house clean and the dogs were happy and well cared for! Definitely recommend :)”

“Angel was a great pet sitter for my dog and home. She communicated consistently and sent photos and videos. She was super sweet and trustworthy. My dog seemed healthy and happy. Thanks!”

About: Growing up and not having pets only made me love them even more as an adult! I have pet sat for many friends, including overnight and enjoy it each time. It’s like spoiling your nieces and nephews but in furry form. Pet care is just a bonus for me, it allows me to love on furry friends, as I do not have any myself. Simply because my housing does not allow it. Weekends are ideal but if it’s stopping by and checking in in the morning or evening, I am absolutely available! The great thing about animals is they can sense the kind of person you are and if they like you or not. Respecting a pets space is just as important as a humans space. I’m like their aunt, I’d spoil them with walks, pets, treats and lots of cuddles!

“Marissa did a great job taking care of my dog! She was very flexible and stayed in my house even on Thanksgiving. Marissa left the house nice and clean - which is especially valuable during the pandemic. The dog looks happy, walked and fed. I definitely recommend Marissa for your next house sitting!”

“Lisa was terrific! We felt so at ease around her and she took great care of our senior and visually impaired dog. We hope she will be available when next we need a sitter.”

About: I have had cats and dogs and cared for them since I was old enough to, about 29 years. I have done a good amount of pet sitting and walking. I volunteered for a couple summers at my local veterinarian office. I get along very well with animals and they always like me. I love the outdoors and I love to walk around with dogs. I work in film in Northern NM and would love to do this as a job during slower months, such as the winters. I especially understand that work schedules can get in the way of you being with your beloved pets and the need for quality pet care. I often have a more open schedule than many to work around all your needs! I would love the opportunity to care for and spend time with your fur baby! I am currently on a hiatus from the film industry because of slowdowns, so I have more time than many to watch your fur babies! To care for pets in my home or other's homes I will feed them, play with them, brush them, cleanout litter box where applicable. Walk them if applicable.

“Stephanie was wonderfully caring of my 5-month old kitten. Extremely communicative and sent lots of pictures. Was kind enough to pick her up and drop her off during the busy holiday season. Our kitten stayed at Stephanie's for 3 weeks and by the looks of it enjoyed her stay there with her other feline friends. Would definitely trust her with my kitty again:) Highly recommend!!”

“Abigail did a great job caring for our two active dogs and cat. She also took care of our home to perfection. I definitely will ask Abigail to watch our animals and home again. I have nothing but praise for her dedication to our home and beloved animals.”

About: I have pet / house sat now and again for over 40 years, in addition to caring for my own pets and homes. I have cared for well over 40 cats & dogs over the years, and was also in charge of a stable for 3 years, caring for horses Pal, Citrina, Waldo, and a mule named Ruth! I don't provide large animal care any longer, but it was a wonderful experience. I thoroughly enjoy the daily love and care of pets. I have provided minor medical care that is required at times. As for home care, I have owned several, and am adept at both the daily cleaning and maintenance as well as the problem solving that can sometimes arise. I am a mature, responsible professional woman, experienced with pets, homes & life! Your home, gardens and fur-babies will be in good hands! PLEASE NOTE- I am a Monday thru Friday NM State employee professional and am out of the house about 9 hours daily, thus dog doors are usually a necessity. I can provide ample morning and evening care daily, and additional time with your pets on weekends. I do work later into the evening 2 to 3 nights per week. I am an ideal choice for pets who do not require midday care Monday thru Friday. I do prefer extended sits, as it requires nearly as much packing and unpacking to stay at a home for just a few days as it does for a month ☺️. Sadly, I cannot provide pet care in my home. I own a condo that is not an ideal environment for pets due to it's very small square footage and lack of outdoor areas. I miss being able to have pets of my own at this time, so caring for those of others brings me great joy! As for caring for pets in your home, I care for the homes and pets of others as if they were my own, with the utmost love and respect. It's important that their environment be well maintained, especially when their family is away, as that can be a time of stress for some pets. Following their routines, and offering reassurance, companionship & cleanliness is important to make them feel safe and cared for. Each pet is unique, and I like to know the subtleties of their care, such as do they like affection, do they like play, etc., to show them the respect they deserve. I used to be an Early Childhood Director, and one of my degrees is in Early Childhood Education. It may sound odd, but I do believe this helps me in pet care. Pets are much like children in their needs for stability, love, reassurance, attention, routine, and respect for their uniqueness.

I’m committed to sharing the same attention, love, & quality care that I have for my furry children for yours as well. • Available for Drop-In Visits & Dog Walking Sunday-Thursday 6am-3pm. •Available for House Sitting/Overnight Pet Care Thursday, Friday, & Saturday. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime! I am dedicated to the meticulous needs your pet may need whether that be medication, water, attention, exercise, special dietary needs, treats, pup cups, etc. Whatever the case may be your pet is special and I’m committed to whatever they might need.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little, when family goes out of town I always watch their pets. I love dogs and think this would be a great opportunity to do something I love I am currently a college student, but when I do get out from school I like to take my dog out for walks or simply just spend time with him. I have a 10 year old chihuahua that I’ve had since I was 9, I would get up when he was puppy to take him out to potty and have ever since, I make sure he has his food and take him on walks

About: I've lived with, and taken care of, dogs and cats since I was a kid. I grew up next to a series of aggressive dogs (bit friends, joggers, etc.), which taught me how to conduct myself and be comfortable around all types of dog and cat personalities. Over the last few years, I started petsitting as favors for friends, and then in more formal capacities as demand increased. Now that I make my living as a fine artist, I've decided to lean in to pet sitting as a source of supplemental income. I show my work at art shows every weekend (usually with the Santa Fe Society of Artists), so pet sitting during the week fits easily into my flexible schedule. Most weekdays I work from home for most of the day, except when I go out to paint for a few hours (either in the early morning or late afternoon/golden hour), so daytime walks are always convenient for me. Most weekends I am gone for at least 8 hours of the day, so midday walks aren't possible (but morning and evening feeding still is possible). When I pet sit at a client's home, I make sure to follow the client's house rules and pet care instructions fastidiously. If I am ever unsure about a detail in pet care, my first inclination is always to contact the client. I do not host pets in my home.

“Ryn is trustworthy, kind, and a true animal lover. She remembers our dog’s idiosyncrasies and is happy to accommodate all our weird requests without judgement. She is responsible, flexible, and easy to communicate with and our pets love her. Plus, the house always looks lovely after she’s stayed. We’d recommend her to anyone looking for great care for their cats and dogs.”

“Our dog, Revna has some issues socializing with strangers, as she is a very overprotective dog. My wife and I were very nervous to find a responsible sitter who has experience dealing with difficult dogs. Upon meeting Rowan and Isaiah, our anxiety disappeared, because they knew exactly how to calm my dog and gain her trust. We left on a 6-day trip and after a couple of days being with my dog and cats, Rowan and Isaiah had fully gained their trust and took excellent care of them. Not only did they take professional care of our pets, they went above and beyond in following our feeding schedule, medication requirements, and house guidelines. They sent us photos and updates throughout our trip and were quick to communicate any questions or concerns. Upon arriving home from our trip, we found our home in perfect condition, very clean, and exactly how we left it. We couldn't ask for anything more in professional, reliable, and caring sitters and we highly recommend this team to anyone seeking top care for their pets.”

Susannah B.
“Susannah is the epitome of a kind, personable, lover of all creatures. Her calm nature makes everyone feel welcomed and cared for and she has a knack for connecting with animals big and small. She's spent ample time with our dog, Leon, and he still gets ridiculously excited if he sees her or if we even just say her name. Having volunteered doing relief work in various places around the globe, she also worked as a babysitter and lifeguard to put herself through college, then turned her attention to tending to plants, both as a farmer and landscape designer. Paying attention to others is her specialty. She also happens to be very punctual, trustworthy, and more than fair in her interactions with people. Every dog and their owner should be so lucky as to have Susannah take care of them. We can't recommend her highly enough.”
