About: I've been a pet owner all my life (dogs and cats!) and have been pet sitting for a few years now. I also spent a summer when I was in college pet sitting for a couple who was traveling. My own pets have always been part of my family and I know how important their physical and mental health is. I have experience with older dogs and know that they may need a little extra consideration and attention. I will treat your pets and your home with the care and respect I would want someone to treat my own. I am available to stay at your house and be with your pet so they are almost never alone. Outside of short trips for groceries or to do other dog walks or check-ins I can be with your pet most of the day or for the full day. I'm a non-smoker and I will not invite anyone else over to your house. I’m happy to walk your dog if they don’t pull strongly and constantly on the leash - I'm good with mild to moderate constant pulling or intermittent strong pulling. Your privacy and security are of the utmost importance to me. I will treat your home and your pet with the care and respect that I would want someone to treat mine. It is a privilege to be allowed into someone's residence to watch over both their home and their pet and I take this responsibility seriously. I will only feed your pet what you have asked me to, no human food or table scraps. Pets can behave differently when their people are gone so I err on the side of caution and am careful about keeping them on leash and being aware when opening doors that they don’t bolt out. On walks I stay alert to traffic, other dogs, and wildlife.

About: I have four dogs and a cat that I enjoy caring for, and I would love to also care for your furry family members! When it comes to pet care, I try to understand the animal in front of me and meet them where they are. Sometimes that means a hike, or running, or a good game of fetch. Sometimes it just means cuddles on the couch. Either way, I’m always down for whatever they want to do! Meeting their needs also means more than just fun time. I am confident in caring for senior pets, and administering medication as appropriate. Puppies and kittens are also welcome! If you have a working dog who especially needs a good jog or a hike, send me a message! Dog friendly dogs get to go on a group hike with me and my dogs! Going on a hike with dog friends is a wonderful way to get their energy out! They will come home happy and satisfied. With the flexibility of a full time dog/cat mom, I have the ability to meet your pets’ needs at any time of the day, as long as I get booked in ample time! All dogs are supervised. I keep an eye on their behavior and adjust the situation accordingly. If anyone is uncomfortable, I separate them until they have calmed down. I have a soft spot for working with dogs on anything they are uncomfortable with, for example, interacting with other dogs, trimming nails, brushing, taking a bath, reactivity, obedience training. I take a gentle but firm approach with my pets. I don’t allow dogs to bully each other, and I expect good manners from everyone. Since I do have one cat in the house, I am also strict on no one chasing the cat. When caring for dogs, I gently work with them on things they may be uncomfortable with, such as touching their paws in order to be groomed.

About: I have been caring for animals my whole life and I have also spent time volunteering at animal shelters, walking and playing with the animals. I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. Family friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed and stay with their pets when they are away or during their busy schedules. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies. I love to get outside and adventure, so I can take your pup/s on local trails like Dale Balls or Atalaya. I'm currently working part-time so I have a flexible and fairly available schedule. Mornings and evenings are always free for me, and the optimal time for walks or adventures. Depending on the day, I can also provide afternoon care and have the flexibility to work with your pets needs. Weekends are also usually free for me and I can provide full-day care or longer outdoor adventures like hikes! I am respectful of boundaries and understand that some pets might be hesitant towards a new person and might need longer to get comfortable. Getting a clear understanding of what comforts and routine the pet has (favorite toy, sleeping spot, treat after play time, etc.) will help me maintain that routine and make sure the pet is as comfortable as they can be. I also have experience with senior dogs who prefer to stay closer to home and can be patient and attentive to their needs. I pay close attention to the behaviors of the pet and communicate with owners if there are any changes to that behavior. It's important to meet the pet once or twice before caring for them to make sure a connection has been established and that the pet is comfortable in my presence.

About: I am a mature and reliable person. My special skills comes by experience over time. I have had several feline companions over 40 years and had administered fluids via IV. I’ve had 2 canines. One for 10 years, one for 3 years. One had heart disease requiring regular pilling and anal gland expression. Another was a cockapoo I often groomed myself. I have a good sense when something is wrong. It may not be glaringly clear, but I do pick up on odd behaviors and look out for possible problems. I steer clear of edibles outside, but should I miss it, I can reach into mouths and attempt to remove before swallowing. I have been pet sitting since 2019. I have handled pets with various issues mental, emotional and physical. I love my new job. I am confident I will easily instill in you confidence and trust in me. Your companion(s) is priority in my schedule. My volunteer work, professional and social appointments can be made around their schedule. I am retired and do not NEED to be anywhere. I care for your companions same as you. I pay attention to any communication. I follow all the instructions I am given to the best of my abilities. If your pet prefers more special alone time that’s ok too as mine can be put away in a gated area separate from yours and taken care of by family. My home is a very sanitary/clean environment but dogs are allowed on all furniture so don’t worry about them getting into anything. My boy is always getting into mischief so every room is dog proofed so they can’t ingest or destroy anything, plus they will always be supervised. If I am staying at your home or dropping in I will make sure your pets routine stays the same and they have everything they need. I will also provide pictures and text updates throughout the day to always keep you informed and make sure you feel completely confident and comfortable trusting your fur babies with me. Same goes for walks I will use the route tracking so you always know where we are!

About: Dogs, and all animals, have been an integral part of my life since I was born. I helped to raise 3 wonderful family dogs and one of my own - all whom sadly but lovingly are no longer with us.
