“Eileen is fantastic. I absolutely trust her with my home and my family. I have one sweet butterball of a Labrador that a child could walk, but I also have a 95 lb impulsive shelter rescue that needs a strong head a fast eye and a firm hand to be safe. She's not an easy animal to walk and Eileen has complete command of her, and can walk both of these very different animals together at the same time. She's smart, sensible, prompt, professional, and has good strong boundaries with the dogs while still being kind to them. It's absolutely perfect and I'm beyond grateful that she's available to walk the dogs. ❤️🐾💪”

“Brittany is INCREDIBLE. She is made to be working with animals! I feel blessed to be able to leave my pup in her care when I’m at work. She’s professional, provides great updates (with photos), and is an all around wonderful human. I am so lucky to have found Brittany to care for my puppy.”

About: I've been a pet owner all my life (dogs and cats!) and have been pet sitting for a few years now. I also spent a summer when I was in college pet sitting for a couple who was traveling. My own pets have always been part of my family and I know how important their physical and mental health is. I have experience with older dogs and know that they may need a little extra consideration and attention. I will treat your pets and your home with the care and respect I would want someone to treat my own. I am available to stay at your house and be with your pet so they are almost never alone. Outside of short trips for groceries or to do other dog walks or check-ins I can be with your pet most of the day or for the full day. I'm a non-smoker and I will not invite anyone else over to your house. I’m happy to walk your dog if they don’t pull strongly and constantly on the leash - I'm good with mild to moderate constant pulling or intermittent strong pulling. Your privacy and security are of the utmost importance to me. I will treat your home and your pet with the care and respect that I would want someone to treat mine. It is a privilege to be allowed into someone's residence to watch over both their home and their pet and I take this responsibility seriously. I will only feed your pet what you have asked me to, no human food or table scraps. Pets can behave differently when their people are gone so I err on the side of caution and am careful about keeping them on leash and being aware when opening doors that they don’t bolt out. On walks I stay alert to traffic, other dogs, and wildlife.

“I booked Amrit for a couple of dog walks when I was ill and couldn’t take my dog out. My dog doesn’t always like strangers but he immediately loved her. Very trustworthy. Will book her again. Thank you, Amrit!!”

“Tammh did a great job of taking care of my dog! She is great at communicating and was able to help me out last minute. She always leaves a detailed note of the walk and takes lots of pictures! She really cares about the pets she takes care of!”

“Angel takes such great care of our pup! She’s quick to respond and flexible with our schedule. Can tell from the pictures she sends that our dog is happy and enjoys walks with Angel.”

“Chase has been walking my dog for the last few weeks. He is always on time, very friendly, helpful and kind. My dog always enjoys his time with. Phase. I highly recommend.”

“Daisy was SO GREAT - super flexible when I needed her. And I made things complicated with a bad pickup and drop off location. I appreciate her patience with me while I was slow on crutches too.”

About: I have four dogs and a cat that I enjoy caring for, and I would love to also care for your furry family members! When it comes to pet care, I try to understand the animal in front of me and meet them where they are. Sometimes that means a hike, or running, or a good game of fetch. Sometimes it just means cuddles on the couch. Either way, I’m always down for whatever they want to do! Meeting their needs also means more than just fun time. I am confident in caring for senior pets, and administering medication as appropriate. Puppies and kittens are also welcome! If you have a working dog who especially needs a good jog or a hike, send me a message! Dog friendly dogs get to go on a group hike with me and my dogs! Going on a hike with dog friends is a wonderful way to get their energy out! They will come home happy and satisfied. With the flexibility of a full time dog/cat mom, I have the ability to meet your pets’ needs at any time of the day, as long as I get booked in ample time! All dogs are supervised. I keep an eye on their behavior and adjust the situation accordingly. If anyone is uncomfortable, I separate them until they have calmed down. I have a soft spot for working with dogs on anything they are uncomfortable with, for example, interacting with other dogs, trimming nails, brushing, taking a bath, reactivity, obedience training. I take a gentle but firm approach with my pets. I don’t allow dogs to bully each other, and I expect good manners from everyone. Since I do have one cat in the house, I am also strict on no one chasing the cat. When caring for dogs, I gently work with them on things they may be uncomfortable with, such as touching their paws in order to be groomed.

About: I have been caring for animals my whole life and I have also spent time volunteering at animal shelters, walking and playing with the animals. I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. Family friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed and stay with their pets when they are away or during their busy schedules. I have experience with senior dogs and puppies. I love to get outside and adventure, so I can take your pup/s on local trails like Dale Balls or Atalaya. I'm currently working part-time so I have a flexible and fairly available schedule. Mornings and evenings are always free for me, and the optimal time for walks or adventures. Depending on the day, I can also provide afternoon care and have the flexibility to work with your pets needs. Weekends are also usually free for me and I can provide full-day care or longer outdoor adventures like hikes! I am respectful of boundaries and understand that some pets might be hesitant towards a new person and might need longer to get comfortable. Getting a clear understanding of what comforts and routine the pet has (favorite toy, sleeping spot, treat after play time, etc.) will help me maintain that routine and make sure the pet is as comfortable as they can be. I also have experience with senior dogs who prefer to stay closer to home and can be patient and attentive to their needs. I pay close attention to the behaviors of the pet and communicate with owners if there are any changes to that behavior. It's important to meet the pet once or twice before caring for them to make sure a connection has been established and that the pet is comfortable in my presence.

About: I am a mature and reliable person. My special skills comes by experience over time. I have had several feline companions over 40 years and had administered fluids via IV. I’ve had 2 canines. One for 10 years, one for 3 years. One had heart disease requiring regular pilling and anal gland expression. Another was a cockapoo I often groomed myself. I have a good sense when something is wrong. It may not be glaringly clear, but I do pick up on odd behaviors and look out for possible problems. I steer clear of edibles outside, but should I miss it, I can reach into mouths and attempt to remove before swallowing. I have been pet sitting since 2019. I have handled pets with various issues mental, emotional and physical. I love my new job. I am confident I will easily instill in you confidence and trust in me. Your companion(s) is priority in my schedule. My volunteer work, professional and social appointments can be made around their schedule. I am retired and do not NEED to be anywhere. I care for your companions same as you. I pay attention to any communication. I follow all the instructions I am given to the best of my abilities. I call or text if there is a question or situation not covered. I give affection and attention but gauge the appreciation. Watch for problems or changes, including in feces. I will send texts and pics daily.

About: Hi I’m Dana and I would love to take care of your floof baby! I’m from NYC/NJ and moved here with fam 4 years ago, my new favorite quote since moving here is I now understand why the grinch wanted to live alone on a mountain with his dog. 🤣 I have had Old English Sheepdogs since I was born, my first boy would guard my crib at night, so I like to say I am a true lifelong sheepie/dog owner. Since then I have raised 5 from 12 weeks and cared for through old age (7 total) with 2 2.5yo pups currently in home. I am a lifelong animal lover as well and would be happy to cat-sit for you too. My friends and family have always relied on me to take care of their pets when needed, and it’s something I’ve always enjoyed and am very passionate about. My life centers around my fur babies’ wellbeing and routine, so I would absolutely love to share my love and experience with you and yours. I have 2 of my own but have family avail to take care of them as needed to be available for your pet(s) around the clock! For daycare/overnight boarding I have a fenced in yard with lots of space to run and play, and 2 friendly 3yo sheepdogs (65lbs) to keep yours company that adapt to a new dog’s personality and are very friendly w/dogs and ppl. If your pet prefers more special alone time that’s ok too as mine can be put away in a gated area separate from yours and taken care of by family. My home is a very sanitary/clean environment but dogs are allowed on all furniture so don’t worry about them getting into anything. My boy is always getting into mischief so every room is dog proofed so they can’t ingest or destroy anything, plus they will always be supervised. If I am staying at your home or dropping in I will make sure your pets routine stays the same and they have everything they need. I will also provide pictures and text updates throughout the day to always keep you informed and make sure you feel completely confident and comfortable trusting your fur babies with me. Same goes for walks I will use the route tracking so you always know where we are!

“I really enjoyed meeting Rowan at your previous job at the daycare. It's wonderful to see her embark on her own journey. Bash was delighted to see her too. I truly appreciated her communication skills and the way she took care of Bash during one of his walks. I hope to collaborate with her in the future!”

About: I am a loving companion for your pets when you are away from home. I have years of experience watching and caring for pets and homes. Over the years I have house sat/pet sat for friends and clients caring for many different animals in a variety of homes. I have also cared for a sled dog team in Alaska in my youth! I now live at the Cielo Apartments on Beckner Rd and service a wide range of neighborhoods on the central and south side of Santa Fe, La Pradera, Dinosaur Trail, Los Soleras, Rancho Viejo, Swan Park, Las Companas, to name a few. I will consider pet sitting farther than these neighborhoods, contact me with your details. I have the experience to offer a broad range of care, companionship and love to your pets. I do pet sitting in your home, drop-in pet care and dog walking. I keep my schedule light so I can provide the best care for your pet whether I am sitting, walking or doing drop-ins. I try to keep to your pets daily routines so they are comfortable and reassured while you are away. I am patient and confident when getting to know a pet, always following their lead. I follow your instructions for your pet’s care and will be watchful for anything that is not right. I am prepared with water, poop bags and basic first aid when we venture out on walks or hikes.

About: Dogs, and all animals, have been an integral part of my life since I was born. I helped to raise 3 wonderful family dogs and one of my own - all whom sadly but lovingly are no longer with us. In MI during high school I started my dog and house sitting business all through word of mouth. That continued after college and has been something I love to do throughout the years. I have experience with training puppies as well as medication administration and support for elderly dogs. I’m fortunate to have a flexible schedule to welcome the care of animals into my day. It’s great for all of us to get more walks and cuddles in! I will also listen to what the pet owner feels is best for their pet. We can walk around the neighborhood, go to the dog park, or spend time in the fenced in yard. I am always happy to send photos or messages with updates as needed.

“Lisa has cared for our dog Beckett on several occasions and demonstrated great care and consideration for his comfort and safety. We never had any concerns and Beckett was always happy to spend time with her.”

Kathryn C.
“Kathryn (also known as Ryn) has watched our elderly dog several times. He loves her and so do we! Ryn is a very calm, friendly and loving person. Our 19 1/2 year old dog is now blind, deaf and incontinent; that didn’t stop Ryn’s ability to care for him. We know she provided excellent care because our dog reflected that when we came home. Ryn is so wonderful that she even offered to pick us up at the airport when there were no taxis available. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to highly recommend her for any of your pet’s needs.”

Carolyn W.

“Carolyn loves critters of all kinds, especially cats and dogs. She's a professional photographer and her clients get treated to visits with silly kitties and/or a sweet doggie when they visit her home studio. I've known Carolyn for about 30 years and can high recommend her as a caring, reliable and loving person who is a true animal lover. Years ago my company Christmas card was a greeting from "everyone (who worked there) and their dog." Carolyn opened her studio to about 10 of us and about 14 dogs and took an amazing and hilarious portrait of all of us for our card. Oh, and by the way, cat rescue organizations call on her and her husband to foster teeny-tiny kittens who need to be fed every two hours in order to survive. They've been doing this for several years and treat their friends to adorable Facebook photos of these cuties as they grow from little fluff balls into healthy, funny, furry felines ready for adoption. You can't get anyone better to love and care for your pet.”
