About: I have a loving family of six with AWESOME indoor and outdoor space to take great care of your furry besties. I am home most days and nights full time. 3 of our kids homeschool, and assist with much of the work and care. I’ve cared for pets large and small, young and senior, my whole life. Our outdoor space is large and fully fenced with shade and grass to play and relax in. I can also care for pets as needed indoors in our main living spaces. My space offers many options for play, rest, and I’ll make sure they’re loved, happy, and healthy. I am home often during the day and always at night. Part of our children’s education is to learn responsibility and to work well and often in the home. Caring for others pets as a business teaches love, care, empathy, work, and so much more. Their care will be a high priority in my home! Fully fenced large backyard with lush grass and shade. Roomy indoor pet-friendly spaces. Daily exercise and play for friends with lots of energy. Many opportunities for caring human interaction.

I am a stay at home mom with a 10 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. I have plenty of free time to care for, walk, and play with your dog(s). I have a loving pit bull who is a gentle giant and two cats. I have a large fenced yard. My home is very small but we make do. I also have two children who love animals. About: I did housesitting for several years with my brother's St. Bernard dog as you see on my profile picture. Last year, I housesat for three cats. Recently I did housesat for a dog over spring break. I owned a dog and several cats in the past. About senior care, I owned and took care of an older cat. I'm currently working as a teacher at school which ends on May 23rd then I can do it anytime since my other job as crisis counselor allows me to work at home. I need a good WIFI. I used leash for dogs when taking them on walks. For cats, it depends on owner. Some cats are outdoors or indoors. I make sure they go potty and have play time. I know cats are super picky about their litters so poops must be scooped out. I use bag to pick up dog poop. I try to find out what animals likes to do and spend time with them.

We use Mark all the time to help out when we’re out of town or have busy days at work. He treats denali so well and makes me feel so much better about having to be away from him! We’ve seen Mark working with other dogs in our neighborhood a few times and Denali always runs up to him tail wagging and howling. We could not reccomend Mark more!!

I can easily crate your dog if that is their routine and they will get lots of attention and love. I currently am going to school online so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pet. I have an organic chemistry lab on Tuesdays from 6-10pm but often get out early and live with my sister who can help out during that longer stretch of time. About: Hi, I’m Audrey, I’m a pet sitter with a deep love for animals and a strong background in animal care. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and horse barns, so I’m no stranger to messes or hard work, and I don’t mind getting a little dirty if it means happy pets. I used to work as a veterinary technician and now work remotely from home, which gives me a flexible schedule to spend quality time with your pets. I love being outdoors, so high-energy dogs can expect plenty of walks and hiking adventures. I’m especially fond of big dogs and cats, and I always aim to treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether it's playtime, snuggles, or just keeping your pets company while you're away, I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! Pet Sitting Availability (Summer Schedule) I work full-time remotely and am on summer break from school, so I have a flexible schedule to provide reliable and loving care for your pets! Weekdays: Walking & Drop-ins: Available mornings, lunch hours, and early evenings Boarding: Available throughout the week with flexible drop-off and pick-up times Weekends: Walking, Drop-ins, & Boarding: Available with a bit of advanced notice I have a friendly family that loves animals as much as I do. I’m intuitive to your pet’s needs and happy to make accommodations. I do have a cat in my home, so if you’d like your pet to stay here, I ask that it be for a maximum of two nights. For longer stays, I’m happy to care for your pet in your home. I also have veterinary medical experience, so your pet will be in great hands.

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Elberta

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 564 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Elberta. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Elberta. On Rover:

  • 86% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
