You’ll receive daily photo updates and check ins, so you’ll never have to wonder how they’re doing. I’m a stay at home mom, and I’m home most days to monitor the house and care for the animals. I occasionally travel north for shopping or appointments, which can take me away for 2–4 hours, but unless there’s a family emergency, I’m always nearby to make sure everything stays safe and well looked after. I have a large fenced in yard for the animals to run around in. Two cats who also roam the yard and house and doesn't pay much mind to the other animals and are pretty good at avoiding dogs that are to interested in them! There are also several chickens that free roam during the day, but if your furry one struggles with them they wont mind spending some extra time in the coop! We have anywhere from 2-9 kids in the home or yard that also will give your furry loved one love and attention all day long! They are allowed anywhere we are! That means the bed, the couch, the bathroom floor, wherever is the most comfortable for them we don't mind!

A TYPICAL DAY: 7:00-8:30 a.m. interactive playtime (fetch, tug-of-war, etc. ) 8:30-9:00 a.m. morning feeding and rest 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. open playtime - we work while the dogs play. They come in an out freely while we supervise from our workstation. We group dogs as needed. We do NOT need beds, food dishes, or leash. We engage in activities that stimulate their prey drive (fetch, tug-of-war...), play drive (playtime with Talley, Ozzy, and other guests), and work on training behaviors a couple of times a day, as appropriate. They are out of the kennel interacting with dogs and people most of the day. In order for your dog to have a great experience, they need to play well with other dogs and be comfortable spending time in a kennel. SAFETY & TRUST: We have been trained in behavior recognition to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests. When we have multiple guests, we group dogs as needed (by age, size, "fixed" or not, temperament, and/or energy level) to optimize the experience for each guest. We feed them in a kennel to ensure food isn't shared and give them quiet time after meals to ensure they have adequate time to digest before playing again. We expect our guests to be up to date with their vaccinations. When a new dog arrives give them time to explore on their own, then we gradually introduce them to other dogs to assess temperament and compatibility. That is the reason we prefer to limit the pickup and dropoff windows so we can devote that critical time. Please see availability for more info on times. ENVIRONMENT: We have a dedicated space both indoors and outdoors for the dogs. Inside we have an air-conditioned apartment dedicated to the dogs. They have a couch, area rug, background music, and their own 4x4, 4x6, or 5x5 kennel. We reserve a corner for a workstation where we work during the day. Outside we have a fenced area for the dogs with turf and toys. We setup a canopy for extra shade on hot sunny days since we don't have natural shade from trees yet. We wet the turf down on hot days to ensure it's comfortable for the dogs as well.

I’ve been bit by several dogs (mostly due to grooming and training) and yet, I haven’t ever hated a dog. I am a very organized person who loves meeting new people (and pups!). This passion came from growing up on a farm. I have been taking care of many different types of animals since before I can remember. My mother also bred a couple different types of dog breeds growing up. There was never a moment without a dog or some type of animal that I had to look after. About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 14. I’m a huge dog lover so I love playing with my dog and taking her on walks all the time! I just graduated massage therapy school. I'm currently working from home so with that being said I have a lot of extra free time on my hands! I have a fenced yard and another dog that can keep your dog company! My husband is work from home as well so there will always be back up in the house, and pet care would be super ideal during any time in my daily routine because it would be an absolute blast! I have a fenced yard and can provide a safe fun space for the dog.. if crating is necessary or desired, that can definitely be arranged. About: Need a sitter who truly understands dogs? I’ve had pets my whole life and currently raise a happy, 2.5 year old pup who is a total social butterfly. Your dog won't just get a attentive sitter—they’ll get a built-in playmate! I love reinforcing good manners and ensuring every dog feels safe, loved, and thoroughly entertained. I am currently on summer break from school and am home full time. Our days include playtime at home, walks around the neighborhood, and an occasional trip to the dog park. I have an unfenced grassy area outside my front door that we use for play. My dog is also always up for play. I am able to crate dogs if needed too.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals my whole life, both big and small dog breeds, cats, bunnies, and horses. I’ve trained multiple different dog breeds. “Stephanie was absolutely fantastic! We had driven there from Texas for a family reunion and just couldn't have her during the reunion. Our pup had been on edge due to a new environment for the 2 days we had been in town before dropping her off with Stephanie. As soon as we saw Stephanie interact with our dog, all of our worries disappeared! Our dog instantly relaxed and just started running and playing! Our dog is also a Rottweiler, and a lot of people are nervous around that breed when first meeting them. I didn't see that at all with Stephanie and her family, and I honestly believe that their demeanor contributed to our dog being able to relax! During our reunion, we received 5+ photos every day as well as updates! Our baby was so happy there! Multiple walks during the day and her kids just loved wearing her out!!
