About: Hello! My name is Giovanna, and I’d love to share a little about myself. Growing up, I was never allowed to have pets (other than a goldfish). My dad would take me to the pet store, and I would beg for even a hamster, but he never budged. So naturally, whenever I visited friends or went to gatherings, I was always the one playing with and loving on the pets. I jumped at every opportunity to help care for my friends’ and family’s animals. When I finally moved out on my own, I adopted my very first pet, my cat, Winnie, within 10 days. Not long after, I decided Winnie needed a friend, so I adopted my second cat, Apache. Later, when I moved in with my now husband, I finally convinced him to get a dog, something I had wanted my entire life. After lots of research, I chose a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and that’s how we welcomed Emmett into our family. One of my favorite hobbies is training Emmett, working on obedience, tricks, and even some agility. I love the moment when something finally “clicks” for him (it’s like finally understanding a math problem!). Growing up, people would always say their pets were family, and I didn’t fully understand that until I had my own. Now, I don’t even see them as pets, they are my children. Because of that, I deeply understand the trust and responsibility that comes with caring for someone else’s animals. I will always treat your pets like my own, with love, patience, and attention. I also know how important updates are, so you can expect plenty of photos and check-ins while you’re away (I already have way too many pictures of my own pets!). I’m a military spouse with base access, and I offer in-home pet sitting, dog walking, and cat care. I’d also be happy to incorporate some light training or tricks if you’re interested! In my free time, I’m currently training for the Chicago Marathon, so if your dog loves to run or needs extra exercise, I can definitely keep up! I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets! I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. I’m available for dog walking, drop-ins, and in-home pet sitting on both weekdays and weekends and last minute requests. I love all animal and have little to no fear of any! I am trained in administration of medicine and have experience with all type of dogs including siezure dogs! I use to work at the dog daycare furkids club! I mostly available Wednesday and Thursdays but if given enough time (2 weeks) I can make do and work with you! About: I grew up with 15+ dogs, ranging from pits, labs, to pugs. All sizes, all types. My love for animals I would say is the same as my love for people. I love to take the dogs to the park down the street so they can play and run around. I am a veteran. Very reliable. My animals are like my children. I have had horses, hamsters, Guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, dogs and cats. I've had a variety of pets big and small so my experience is all in between. About: I've had pets since i was 4, and I've taken care of friends and family's pets since I was 11. I can get most pets to take their medicine and I have experience with elderly pets. I am able to pet sit every weekend and overnights. I work every weekday from 1 to 5pm. I am able to walk dogs all day on the weekends. For dog walks, I can offer treats and a length of walk that is suitable for your baby. With pet sitting in someone's home, over the weekends I can offer 24 hours with your fur baby, and on weekdays I can be with them or let them out when I am not in work.

About: I’ve trained around three puppies via clicker training, have taken care of old dogs who require medication, and have worked with small dogs like Cavaliers and big dogs like Chows alike. I currently attend school for 20 hours a week, but my classes are done after 2-4 hours at a time. This allows me to love my own dog and yours! I love being outdoors and taking walks, but I also can stay indoors to just be with your pet. I also have crate trained other pets, so even if your loved one is stubborn, I can put them up. I’m used to both small and big dogs and can cater to either size range.

About: Hi! I'm now available after a short hiatus. (Hence the gaps in the reviews) Recently married, my name is now Brittney Tyson Sporman. I have been caring for all sorts of animals for the majority of my life. I am owner to three wonderful doggos, four charismatic kitties, a grumpy hedgie (Nugget), and a little dinosaur (gecko) named Mochi. Since I developed such a love and joy for animal caregiving it seemed only right to pursue a career in the veterinary field. I started off as a kennel tech at my local humane society which eventually lead to me managing the cat section of the shelter. This was when I realized I am first and foremost a crazy cat lady. I gained experience in learning how to evaluate and treat illness as well as properly care for felines and canines. Once I mastered the basics of venipuncture, medication administration, and vaccines I had enough experience to get a job at a local veterinary clinic. There I acted as a receptionist, client care coordinator, and veterinary assistant. I counseled clients regarding nutrition, behavioral problems, obesity, parasite problems, geriatric, flea problems, pre- and post-operative care, treatment instructions, etc. as well as assisting veterinarians and technicians with pets and diagnostics as necessary. After doing this for a few years I became familiar with veterinary medical terminology and procedures, how to perform wellness examinations, and how to recognize significant changes in health and mentation. This led to me being able to get a job at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. I worked as an unlicensed veterinary technician in immediate and intensive care in Auburn’s emergency and critical care department for most of my career before going back to general practice. After working in general practice for one year I realized my passion was in emergency medicine and I started working at an emergency clinic as an overnight ICU nurse. After my grandmother got diagnosed with cancer I decided to take a step back from full time veterinary medicine as I was facing compassion fatigue and burn out. That’s when I decided not to let my 10+ years of experience go to waste and I started my “business”, Lemon’s Aid. "Lemon's Aid" was founded in honor of my special needs puppy, Lemon. It is my hope and ambition at Lemon's Aid to provide exceptional healthcare and pet sitting experiences for your pets with skilled nursing treatments, specialty care, convenient home-based visits, as well as home to hospital transportation. Nursing house calls and in home sitting help alleviate the stress and anxiety that pets, and their families can experience during traditional vet clinic or boarding facility visits.
