About: I’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes and have always loved caring for them. I started dog sitting for friends and family when I was about 14, and since then friends and family have continued to trust me with their pets. As a dog mom myself, I understand the anxiety that can come with leaving your dog and wanting to make sure they are in the best hands. Because of that, I treat every dog like my own! I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I always make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I have a flexible schedule. I’m in my last semester of nursing school and have already completed my clinicals, so during the week I have plenty of availability when I’m not picking up shifts at the hospital as a nurse tech! I’m already used to caring for my own dog with walks, playtime, and attention, so adding additional pet care into my routine feels very natural. I’m able to give pets the time, attention, and care they need to feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away!🩷 For walks and drop-in visits, I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. During visits, I make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need—whether that’s going for a walk, playing, feeding them, refreshing their water, or giving them some extra love and attention. I always try to follow the routine the owner has set so their pet feels safe and keeps their normal schedule. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so owners know their pet is doing well while they’re away! 🤗

I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have three of my own—a big German Shepherd/Pit mix and two Westies—so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
