About: I have a lot of education with dogs. In high school I attended a Scroc Pet boarding class and also went to Animal Behavior College. I worked at Pet Boarding and Spa in Lomita, California. I volunteer at the Lancaster Animal Shelter where I have fostered puppies that were underaged and bottle fed them and potty trained them. I am very familiar with humane animal restraint. I am familiar with all dog breeds . I have taken care of dogs for most of my life. I have distributed medicine to dogs often. I tend to take care of animals with all my heart, and love them within seconds of meeting them and would do anything for them. I believe I am the best choice for your pets needs.

About: Hi, I’m Stephanie! I’m an avid lifelong dog lover who works from home full time. Our home features a spacious, secure fully fenced backyard where dogs can run freely. I have extensive experience caring for happy pups of all life stages, from high-energy puppies who need consistent potty training to seniors who require gentle care and medication management. My husband and I have a lively, dog-loving home with two friendly pups and a toddler under two. Because of this, we only accept guest dogs who are known to be comfortable and gentle around young children. We also proudly offer long-term boarding for military deployments and extended work travel. We are familiar with the military lifestyle and offer flexible boarding for both short-term TDYs and long-term deployments. Having two dogs of our own, we provide a stable 'pack' environment where your pup becomes a temporary member of our family for as long as you're away. Whether for a weekend or six months, your dog will receive close supervision, daily play, and all the love they deserve! I'm currently working from home so I'm very active and available to the dogs when they need me. They typically like to nap in the office or sunbathe outside while I'm working, and during my breaks we often play in the backyard or go for a quick walk. Once I'm off work there's more playtime in the backyard before dinner and bedtime. Our two friendly dogs love making new friends and are great at welcoming guests into our pack. We always offer a quick Meet & Greet in our spacious backyard to ensure everyone’s personality meshes perfectly before the stay. This allows us to see how our dogs and my child interact with your pup before we confirm a stay. For long-term stays (30+ days), I often suggest an extended Meet & Greet to make sure your pup feels fully comfortable before your departure.

About: I used to be the president of an animal rescue called Secondhand Animals. Between running an animal rescue and owning dogs, cats, fish, turtles and hamsters all my life, I am very knowledge about animals, what they can and cannot eat, sickness, medications and what to look out for. I am completely set up for X-Large to X-small dogs, and the animals in my home are very friendly to other animals. If not we have several other rooms in the house, where we can keep a guest by themselves in order to not stress the out so much. We also just had a dog run built. I am currently working full-time, but I do go home during lunches and am home in the evenings and weekends. I also have help, if it is needed. I have a fenced in yard, and a dog run with it's own fencing. Every evening I sit out on the deck, and try to engage with my animals. I say try because they do not know what fetch is, but they understand keep-away. We also enjoy taking car rides and walks.

About: Yes, I am vaccinated. I've taken care of dogs for a dog rescue (Pepper Foundation, Studio City), know first aid, geriatric care & have had many of my own. I've had pets since a child. I know First Aid & even earned a First AID/CPR certificate. My little Heidi, my minny unwanted dassy originally given to me as a birthday gift, not wanted by her owners cause she had a small bald spot and wasn't perfect, lived until 19 yrs old and my Cat Munchkin lived until 23 yrs old (unusual long age). I've fostered many dogs for the Pepper Foundation who typically rescues unwanted geriatric special needs dogs but also fostered puppies as well. I know all about giving fluids, meds, and have certain med supplies here, just per chance. I've cared for dogs at owner's homes and know about meds if needed. I understand sensitivity and kindness, good care & responsible attention to your best friend(s). I won't let anything happen to your fur baby. Will go by your rules too. I am near various vets, have large yard for play, no pool or danger, covered patio, and possibly another small/med size zen dog to play with. I worked with lots of doggies with and without disabilities all unique needing individualized attention and diets. I've worked with puppies who need lots of love. I've worked with other animals as well: Cats, a squirrel, and birds. I have different rooms, per chance you have a dog that needs a certain type of serenity. I have air conditioning and evap cooling here and heat in the winter. You can't leave a dog outside in very cold temps or very hot temps. You also cannot leave them in a car in the heat. The heat will heat up in one minute in a car. I have security cameras here on the property, in the yard, allover the front of my house as well and an alert system if I need it. I have an MfA in Fine Art and an MA in Illustration. I paint dog portraits as well. I have lots of time to give care and a free-styled 24 hour a day schedule. I study at my own pace at home so I have time to give your pets attention and keep an eye on them. I have a secure fenced yard, outdoor cams, dogs can stay indoors, have doggy door, living room and couch, and no carpet here. I am trustworthy, honest character, caring, concerned with the health of your fur baby, medically aware, know first aid for animals, and know how much your love your pet. I do not believe in hitting a dog or cat "to train them" what so ever and believe you can train a dog best with patience and love. They learn much better when you consider their feelings. They do not like feeling fear or humiliation. I also don't believe in hitting the floor with a newspaper as some do, if a doggy urinates on the floor. That only teaches them fear; you want to teach them they they are loved and it's ok instead. It's somewhat quite here much of the time. I have tennis balls that my dog likes to play with. Dogs need to know they can trust you first of all and that they will get fed, be able to play and relax, and have a place to nap and rest. They need to know they are safe in their environment and no one is going to harm them. Sometimes it takes a little while to earn a dog's trust. I make time for the pets and available. Fits just fine most of the time. Call and book if you are in need. We can set up meet and greet and talk by phone. I usually consider a day care situation about 8 hours long. We play in and in the yard, if your dog likes to play. Your dog can snuggle on the couch or in a doggy bed, whichever your dog prefers. Depending on your rules, your dog will get some treats and you can let me know what type of toys is ok with your dog and which are not.

About: I was an intern at a K9 training facility. I worked with service dogs, personal protection dogs, and would board and train house dogs who needed behavioral corrections. I am currently a volunteer at a local animal shelter. I personally volunteer to give the animals some outside time. It is nice to see the animals enjoy playing and going on walks. It is a nice break to them when volunteers go in. I’m currently working a full time job. My schedule is the same each week, 7am - 4pm Monday - Friday. My weekends I am free, but I do get a lot of time off since I work at a school so I’m fully available during occasions like Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer. But I am able to work around your schedule as fits to care for your furry family. My safety requirements always consist of a dog being leashed while outside, but secure inside the home to ensure there is no danger. I want to keep each animal safe and I will follow any safety protocols you may have.
