Top rated Edward house sitters

“Beth is an awesome dog and house sitter!!! It takes a lot of trust to leave someone “in charge” for three weeks-but we had total confidence in Beth. We know was was spoiled and loved while we were gone ( kets face it-she probably gets more attention from Beth than she does us🥰). HIGHLY recommend her as a sitter.”

“Christine accommodated a last minute schedule change where we needed her 2 extra days. She was patient and loving with my very scared boy. He was comfortable and happy in no time thanks to her TLC. She left my home immaculate. I felt so much more at ease knowing she was watching my precious pup. Thank you times a million for making our first time leaving Sport so much easier. Also, the pictures were very much appreciated.”

“I left 4 out of 5 large dogs in Elizabeth’s care for the weekend (and one traveled with me). Each dog has their own personality and quirks, and she took the time to get to know each one and ask questions ahead of time, and specifically asked for written instructions and other info to be left in the home - the sign of an experienced dog sitter! She sent candid pics of them along with updates and I never worried that my pups weren’t happy and living their typical best lives. When I arrived back home, they were happy to see me but wasted no time running outside to play…they showed zero signs of anxiety and didn’t even seem to miss me all that much! Elizabeth clearly took great care of them and showed them all the affection they’re accustomed to getting! Great communication throughout the entire process, from the initial interview until I arrived home from my trip. Excellent all around, and I’m tough to impress!”

“Dylan immediately understood our pets needs and required very little direction. He was very attentive during his week long booking and kept our pups very happy. I would highly recommend him and will definitely try booking him again in the future.”

“We have had Amanda stay with our German shepherd, Bella, twice now, and have her booked for a third stay. Our Bella LOVES her and so do we. Bella is happy and the house is immaculate when we come home. She sends me a picture every day. She did a great job of taking care of a hot spot on Bella's foot, keeping it bandaged better than we have, I think. We will continue to try to book Amanda for every trip we make when we can't take Bella with us.”

“Courtney was fantastic! She took great care of my dog, Max, followed all his care instructions, and provided photos and updates regularly. She also left my apartment spotless and was an extremely respectful house guest.”

“Allison was a super-communicative pet sitter, and we loved getting the updates and photos. She was able to spend a lot more time with our pets than we anticipated, which was amazing. Allison was great when some unexpected complications arose. Overall we'd say she exceeded our already high expectations!”

“Briana was fantastic! She responded quickly, communicated clearly throughout her stay, and followed all instructions perfectly. Our pets were happy and well cared for. The house was in great shape when we returned, and everything was just as we left it. She shared pictures and it was clear that everyone was having a wonderful time with her. We will definitely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful sitter.”

“Christina is awesome, she was very attentive to all 5 of our dogs, and stayed in contact with us the whole time. Our home was clean and dogs were well cared for. Christina is great and I would gladly recommend her!!!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with a calm, caring approach and reliable schedule. I have worked with dogs for two years at a local prestigious boarding facilities in New Bern, North Carolina. I currently work at a local farm in Vanceboro, North Carolina. My schedule is pretty flexible. I’m mainly specializing in over night care. Can’t wait to meet your pet! When caring for pets, I always prioritize their comfort, routine, and happiness—whether it's during walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. For walks, I make sure each outing is safe, engaging, and tailored to the pet’s energy level. During drop-ins, I handle feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and any special instructions with care and attention. For overnight stays, I maintain the pet’s regular routine in their familiar environment, giving them companionship and peace of mind while you're away. I treat every pet like family and every home with respect.

“Alicia connected extremely well with our dog and took great care of him while we left town for the weekend. She was able to administer medicine successfully. She also communicated with us throughout the weekend, sending pictures and updates of how much fun they were having. She stayed the weekend to give our elderly dog extra support and took great care of the house by cleaning up after herself. We are thankful that we met and found someone who is respectful and cares so much for our dog.”

About: I have been pet sitting for families for over 10 years. Families have asked me to feed, bathe, walk, give medication and play with their animals. I grew up having dogs, cats and fish, so I feel very comfortable taking care of them. I very often stayed at people’s homes while taking care of their animals. I have also been a families dog walker. I am currently a full time nanny. I am free early in the mornings before 8/9 and after I get off work around 5. Completely free on weekends. I do not personally board pets at my own home but am very careful and aware when going into a families home. I try my best to make the animals feel loved and safe. While providing them the best care I can provide to them.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat of my own that I love to death. I also have experience with special needs dogs such as ones with epilepsy. I also currently help at critter cuts letting dogs and/or cats out and taking care of them at nighttime and when they are closed to the public. I currently work part time at my other job and have plenty of time to tend to other animals and still be a mom and fur mom. Will stay outside with the fur babies rain or shine to make sure they stay safe and pay attention to everything they may do. If special needs then I also look at for any warning signs of trouble so that the issue can be immediately addressed

About: Living in the OBX, Willing to travel, see new places! I want to help care for your dog in your home because I believe pets are happiest in their home setting. I never boarded my dog, always traveled with him or had a family member stay. I'm excited to meet all your fur family and see some new places. If you live near trails, i particularly enjoy a hiking dog. I will travel for overnight care up to a few hours. I also visit NH regularly. Im working on something personal right now which allows me the flexibility to travel and dog sit. I prefer the beach, mountains, lakes, quiet over cities. I'm a kiteboarder and hiker, so i'm partial to areas I can explore with these activities. I always follow the household schedule and your pets preferences. During my time in your home, I will leave it generally cleaner than I found it. I'm comfortable traveling to dog parks, trails etc with a dog or two in my car.. I'm happy to keep your plants happy, enjoying a green thumb.

About: I have been looking after friend’s and family’s dogs and cats for about 9-10 years! I have been trusted to keep their pets safe and show them lots of love! I am currently working part time and pet sitting as a side gig to make some extra money! I normally work about 4-5 days a week, so I am pretty flexible to hang out with your pets! I stick to pretty strict feeding schedules. I make sure litter boxes are cleaned/dogs are taken out as frequently as needed. I will love and play with your pets as long as they want to!

“We are so happy to have Kylie take care of our Tessie! She gave her so much attention and did a great job keeping us updated. She stayed in our home and you didn’t even know she was there! We will definitely depend on Kylie in the future.”

About: I've had a wide array of pets my entire life - dogs, birds, bunnies, hamsters and cats. I'm extremely understanding of their needs, while gentle and fun. My whole life i've made myself knowledgeable about animals, and continue to educate myself about different types of animals/dog breeds. Their traits and strong senses are fascinating. I'm always thinking about the wants of each type of breed. And, I have a private garden for my apartment, for private, safe and healthy dog-walking. My communication is excellent, and I will send fun photos of your pet while on the job, reminding you they are in safe and fun hands! I'm extremely punctual, organized and responsible - for every dog walking schedule and short-term boarding I will be there for your pet(s).
