“Davis took AMAZING care of our pup!!! He sent us so many pictures of our dog living her best life, going on walks, and getting belly rubs. She looked so happy in every photo. 100000% recommend Davis!!”

“Talk about somebody who loves dogs! Thank you for taking such a good care of my 2 furry babies and thank you for making them a part of your family for 2 days. Highly likely will be back and highly recommend to anybody who is looking for somebody to take an exceptional care of their animals.”

“Janet is an amazing sitter who took wonderful care of my dog during a multi-day stay. I was lucky to book a last minute stay with her, and she also kindly took care of my dog for an extra few hours when our return flight was delayed. I received daily, detailed updates concerning my dog’s mood, eating pattern, and activity. And several adorable pictures were always included! Janet is a loving and conscientious sitter that ensured my dog was comfortable and safe. I would most definitely book with her again.”

“Shoshana is the absolute best! I have a senior dog that needs a little extra attention and she (and her great kids) has been willing to provide the amazing care for her. I can't recommend anyone higher to watch over furry companions. I will always use her as my sitter as long as my dog is still able to be left for a few days.”

“Todd & Gail took great care of our little dog! Todd & Gail provided updates and we never were worried about our dog being safe. Will definitely use their services again in needed. Thanks again Todd & Gail!”

“All I can say is “AWESOME”. Madeline took great care of my 2 high maintenance pups for 5 nights. This is my first experience using a sitter and she set the standard high.”

“She was very responsive sent lots of photos and I felt our puppy was very safe. Her dogs are super sweet and our puppy came home a little more mature. I would definitely book with her again.”

“Anita thank you so very much for taking care of our precious Ella!!!!! I highly recommend Anita, she has such a sweet spirt, friendly and very professional. We felt very comfortable and relax while on our 5-day vacation, because she provided daily pictures of Ella and kept us updated. Thanks a Million, you are the best.”

“Melissa was absolutely wonderful with Tobi and Maki! She watched them for two weeks and sent us daily photos, videos, and detailed updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was incredibly loving and attentive with both of them, followed Tobi's medication instructions, and made sure they got plenty of playtime and cuddles. She even went above and beyond when we ran short on some of their food and picked it up for them without us even asking! And of course, Tobi loves putting his face directly into mud haha! Melissa happily let him have his fun and even washed him every time he came back muddy. They came home happy, relaxed, and VERY tired, which tells us they had the best time! We would absolutely book Melissa again and highly recommend her.”

“Once again, Maceson went above and beyond to meet my needs of an extremely early morning drop-off due to an early flight. Also, my return flight to Memphis after flying back into the country was canceled and I had to spend the night in Arlanta. Maceson gladly took care of my girl for an unexpected extra night”

“This was Mia’s second time staying with Kissie and it was great. She stayed for a longer time and she had a blast. Kissie sent regular updates and was super accommodating with my requests. Even when I had to modify my flight, Kissie was super helpful and kept mia for couple of more days. I highly recommend her for all you pets need, they will have a wonderful time with Kissie.”

“Wendy was awesome. Not only is she very knowledgeable about dogs in general, she is very patient and understanding with new pet parents like myself. Her insight and tips have been invaluable in helping us to help her adjust to our home. Wendy loves animals and it shows in the care she provides. I will always look for her first when I can't take my Essie Mae with me.”

About: I have 16 years of hands-on experience caring for my family dog from puppyhood through his senior years. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, basic bathing, maintaining a pet’s normal routine, and providing plenty of affection and supervision. As a biomedical PhD student, I’m responsible, observant, organized, and attentive to details. I provide owners with regular updates and photos, and I currently host only one small or medium dog at a time so each pet receives calm, individualized care. I’m a biomedical PhD student with a structured weekday schedule, and I primarily offer boarding on weekends when I can provide more consistent supervision and attention. During a stay, I plan feeding, walks, playtime, and potty breaks around each dog’s usual routine. On weekdays, dogs may need to be comfortable alone for up to 4–8 hours. I live in a clean, smoke-free apartment with no children or resident pets. I host only one small or medium dog at a time so I can provide individualized care in a calm environment. Dogs are taken outside on leash for all walks and potty breaks. I carefully follow feeding, medication, crate, and household instructions, keep unsafe items secured, and provide regular photo and message updates. A meet-and-greet is preferred before the first booking.

About: I had the opportunity to repeatedly dog and house sit several dogs - from a small fluff ball, to large, energetic breeds (an Alaskan Malamute, an Akita, and a Husky). I loved getting to know each of these dogs unique personalities! I also gained experience taking dogs to vets, picking up meds and administering them. I especially loved working with one dog over the course of several months as we went on daily walks and reinforced basic training skills - especially reducing leash pulling. I live on an acreage with my two dogs, two outdoor cats, and a flock of ducks and chickens. I spend plenty of time walking and giving my dogs exercise—and I’d love to do the same for yours! I also have experience working on dairy farms, which means I've taken care of calves and lambs, bottle feeding and monitoring health in early life stages. I also ride horses and can handle and care for horses. If you have an unusual pet, I would be happy to see if I might be a good fit for helping care for it.

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
