About: I was a dog walker and pet sitter in college. Since then I’ve mostly pet sat for friends. Recently started working from home and am available for more regular sitting and walking. I have a cat and an elderly/special needs dog myself and have experience caring for all kinds. I well versed in medicating, and other special needs. I work from home with very flexible hours so I am fairly available during the week for drop ins, walks and boarding. I have some weekend availability also for overnights. As a pet owner myself I know how much we care for our animals and I understand the trust it takes putting their care in another’s hands. I take that responsibility, as well as their safety, wellbeing and comfort seriously. Whether in my home or yours, I’ll provide them with the utmost care and respect.

Our dogs had access to a few enclosed acres on the property which was great for the dogs...a beautiful setting as well. Our 3 dogs got along well with David's dogs and another visiting dog. Most important, I felt our dogs were in good hands with David.”

About: I've owned my own dog walking and boarding business for 8 years, have worked with dogs full time for 10 and have chosen to work and volunteer alongside animals from the moment I had the opportunity as a young teen. It is important to me that the dogs in my care are fulfilled. All dogs are taken on daily walks and provided with off leash social time in my yard. I am behavior savvy, cultivate structure through routine and boundary setting, and love to let dogs' personalities shine. My partner and I have a 6 month old mini Aussie, Otis, and he loves to host as well. I require that dogs are friendly with other dogs, crate trained and have leash manners. My "full-time" work is to provide for the dogs in my care- whether they are boarding, daycare dogs, or walking clients. This includes daily (and sometimes twice daily) group walks and off leash social time with my personal dog and whomever else is on the schedule. Sometimes we hike, explore a separate large fenced property or visit the beach-it all depends on how many dogs I have and what their temperaments are. I take relationship building with my clients (both human and dog) very seriously. It takes time to build comfort and trust. I prefer to have a short client list, an intimate group of dogs, and a relaxed and familiar flow throughout our day to day. I love to have extended stay boarding dogs, and have several clients who travel multiple months out of the year. I do not take one-time weekend boarding dogs. It is a lot of work up front to get new clients familiarized with our routine, comfortable & relaxed in the environment, and introduced to all of the regulars. A final note: I love shy/awkward dogs, senior dogs, and working with (most) young puppies. I struggle with highly anxious & hyperactive dogs and they are not the best fit for my environment and personality.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was fifteen, but I have had different animals all throughout my life. From birds, to cats, and dogs of all sizes I have had a lot of personal experience. Some of my duties included feeding, walking, bathing, grooming (for personal pets), and attention to medical needs. I have a big heart for pets and wish to give them care and support as they do us! I don’t currently have any pets, but I do tend to dog sit for my aunt. I currently work as a caregiver and for an after school program for youth. On my days off, I would love to help with pets. As stated above I don’t currently have a pet of my own, but for my aunt’s dog I take him on walks, feed him, keep him hydrated (especially with summer bringing in heat), there’s always play time and he gets a bath before he goes back home. I am very open to all needs of both the pet and the owner.

About: I am a devoted animal person. I have had dogs and cats my whole life, and am experienced with puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently work remotely and have a flexible schedule. I am available for dog walking weekdays and some weekends. Open to special requests and needs. My home has a large doggie door which opens to large fenced in yard. Dogs come in and out as they please. Lots of play toys and special attention.

About: I’m a dog person and am experienced with all kinds of dogs in all phases of life! Exercise, stability and love seems to be golden. I aim to keep a pet’s home routine for feeding and walks that they are used to. I’m consistent with feeding, meds and all specific instructions. I’m working from home these days and can give your pet the care it needs. I never want an animal to suffer with a full bladder or no fresh water. I also am big on exercise for dogs. I am in Sebastopol where we take advantage of all parks, walks and wonderful outdoor opportunities. My older gentle female dog can keep your pet company. I am also able to crate dogs if desired.

I’ll work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s needs and routine! Whether your pup stays in my home or I care for them in yours, my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved! In my home: I have a small yard for potty breaks and live next to beautiful walking trails for daily walks and enrichment. I only board one dog at a time, so your pup gets plenty of individualized attention. I have a friendly corgi and a cat, so visiting dogs must be comfortable living with both. I’m only away for occasional four-hour shifts at a nearby spa, and my partner works from home, so your pup will have company throughout the day. Crates are available if preferred, but your dog is also welcome to sleep with me! In your home: I follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, care instructions, and house rules. I provide daily walks, companionship, and plenty of affection. I work occasional four-hour shifts Tuesday through Saturday, but otherwise can spend my time at your home caring for your pets. For overnight stays, I just ask for access to a bed and kitchen. I know pets are family, and I’ll treat yours like my own!

About: I’ve worked with both kittens and puppies, so I understand the extra patience, attention, and care young pets need. I also have experience with both big and small dogs, which helps me adapt to different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I’m available every day after 3 PM once school is over, and I’m free on weekends. During the summer and school breaks, I have a much more flexible schedule and am available throughout the day. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and consistent care. I care for pets directly in my client’s home to help them stay comfortable in their familiar environment and keep their normal routine. I follow any specific instructions provided, including feeding schedules, walk times, medication needs, and preferred routines. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection so they feel safe and not lonely while their owners are away. I keep the home clean and respect the space by tidying up after feeding, walks, or any messes, and I always make sure the pet is secure before leaving.

About: I’ve loved animals since I was young and have been around dogs my whole life. I’ve had my own dog, Simba, since March 2021, and he’s very much part of my family. I genuinely enjoy having dogs around and getting to know their different personalities. I’m home full-time, so I’m able to give pets a lot of attention and company throughout the day. I enjoy going on walks, playing, hanging out, and just having a dog around while I go about my day. I’m also someone who pays attention to the little details and will make sure your pet’s normal routine is followed. I know leaving your dog with someone else requires trust. I’ll treat your pet with the same care and patience I’d want someone to give Simba. I’m happy to send updates and photos while you’re away, and I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, affection, and care. I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, take them for walks, and keep them company rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I already have a regular routine with my own dog, Simba, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to fit each pet’s individual needs and routine. I’ll be caring for pets in my home, where I have a fenced yard that gives dogs a safe place to get outside, play, and explore. I’m home full-time, so pets will have plenty of supervision and company throughout the day. I’ve had my own dog, Simba, since 2021 and have been around dogs my whole life. I’m very attentive to their behavior and individual needs, and I’m careful about things like doors, gates, food, and making sure they’re comfortable in a new environment. My goal is for your dog to feel like they’re staying with a friend rather than being somewhere unfamiliar.
