MUST LOVE DOGS & CATS Boarding + Daycare in our home I live with four other people: one human (my partner Jason), one canine (a 2-year-old Border Collie Poodle girl), and two felines (a 1-year-old girl and a 13-year-old queen). All of them are very friendly and well socialized. However, this means that if I board your dog, or take them in for daycare, they have to be familiar and respectful with cats, and well-socialized with dogs. Ideally they love playing and chasing (but not the cats). I work from home on my budding dog business, and I am enrolled in two different prestigious academies, studying canine behavior and training. It is easy for me to have another dog around, but I will require a visit to my house first to ensure the dogs get along, and your dog won't chase my cats. Ideally, we go for a walk together first, to give the dogs the opportunity to meet on neutral turf. I will only take one guest dog at a time. They'll get to play to their heart's content with my dog in a fully fenced large yard. My partner Jason and I just love all animals. I will be your sitter / primary caretaker, but in our home, Jason will give a lot of additional affection and attention, when he's around. I’ve been a dog parent for over 20 years, and have lots of experience with all ages and special needs. I am very diligent about catering to your dog’s specific needs and keeping you updated as frequently as you like, including lots of pictures. FORCE-FREE POLICY I will never use choke, prong, slip, or e-collars of any kind. If you want me to take your dog on walks, please bring a harness for safety. I usually drive my own dog to various trails in the area every morning and we go 3+ miles, I'd be happy to take yours on hikes, too, if they like car rides and can handle the exercise. Your dog will be with me and my dog all day long. Throughout the day, I take frequent breaks and let them out, be it for more walks, or a game of fetch or chase in our large yard. As soon as I'm certified as a dog trainer, I'll be happy to take on training as well. I will watch your dog in my home. I’ll adhere to their normal schedule and needs. They'll have a friendly play buddy in my own dog.

About: I spent a lot of time volunteering at a rescue shelter. I started off with the basics; walking, socializing, playing and being a friend. I eventually became more involved and had a great time doing it. I helped with social media, took photos of the dogs, assisted with adoption and fundraising events, foster care and the biggest experience of all was the time I went along on a road trip to South Carolina to rescue dogs from shelters and bring them back to Vermont for adoption. She would love another pal to play with! We take daily walks or hikes near our home and visit the dog park a few times a week. We also spend lots of time snuggling on the couch. About: I'm someone who enjoys being around dogs and I love being able to make them happy. I have experience owning large and small dogs. I make sure to get them the exercise, play, and attention they need (and deserve)! I currently work from home and have availability during the work day to take breaks and get outside (rain or shine). I have my own dog so it is part of my routine to spend time caring for her. I live in a cold-a-sac neighborhood and have over a half acre of land. I enjoy playing fetch with dogs, walking with them, or just sitting side by side being buddies. I make sure they are fed enough and always have water in their bowls!

My husband & I have been in our “pet parents” era for 5 years now, so I’m sure you can only imagine how spoiled our Georgia girl is. When you hire me, you’re getting someone who’s going to treat your dog exactly as their own. I want to see their little wiggly butts & all of their cute tricks when they are in my care. I always offer a meet & greet so I can learn about their dislikes/likes , favorite toys and scratches & all of the cute things you love about them and or maybe naughty things they do before I take care of them so I can offer a safe & familiar environment! About: I've been an animal lover and taken care of pets my whole life! Growing up, we had the sweetest yellow lab named Pete. Now, my partner and I adopt old pets and care for them during their retirement. I love animals and will care for your pets as if they were my own. ****** PLEASE NOTE ****** that we have two dogs (an elderly deaf pug named Alice, and a senior terrier mix named Edie) and one cat. Our pets are friendly towards other dogs, cats, and people who come to visit/ stay with us. Please let me know if you have any concerns about your pet staying with our pets, or if they don't have experience with cats. We can discuss and ensure it'll be a good mutual fit. I am an educator at the local elementary school, and offer pet care services to neighbors and visitors to the area. My availability is generally flexible on the weekends, and can extend into the week on a case-by-case basis. I generally offer 3-4 walks per day, including one longer adventure to mountain trails, or another nearby, dog friendly destination. I'm happy to bring your pup to any of their favorite spots (within reason). Of course, it goes without saying that pets are allowed on the furniture and more than welcome to snuggle in bed at night, also open to crating or any special care required.

Whether is just a quick walk or a long stay, they are in good hands, and will have a built in playmate! I have 5 years of house sitting and dog sitting experience with excellent references. My dog gets along with just about any dog, so don't hesitate to reach out! I work from home and love to get outside for breaks during the day! I am an avid walker/runner/hiker and am happy to take your pup or pups out with me on any of the above. About: My schedule is flexible so I'm able to spend time throughout the day with your fur baby. I'm active and happy to play fetch for hours! I like to take puppers for multiple walks and give lots of love and pets. The clients I sit for like the fact they can contact me last minute and I'm generally able to adjust my schedule to be available. My schedule changes from week to week but feel free to contact me to double check my availability no matter the season! I like when clients leave me detailed instructions on what their pets normal schedules are, that way there's less stress put on myself and on your fur friend! I'm able to work from home most days of the week, this allows me to be available for all pet needs - morning, lunch time, and after work walks are a part of my daily schedule when we have a dog to take care of. Lots of mental stimulation and training exercises throughout the day to keep them out of trouble helps too! I have a 9 year old cat in the house that tends to keep to herself in the bedroom when there's a dog around. Our home is on 5 acres of land with a big yard to do lots of sniffing around. I'm also located right on the rail trail for longer walks and adventures!
