1. Hannah M.
“Hannah was great! She was flexible and accommodating and my pup looked very happy after her stay 😊”
2. Donald F.
“Donald is a fantastic caregiver, and his set up on the hill is amazing, a pond to cool off, lovely home, and plenty of space for a happy dog to become even happier. My poodle Rosy had a blast at “dog camp” with Luna and Donald. Already reserving a second booking.”
3. Sarah K.
“Sarah was as fabulous as all of the reviews I read said! Her home and property are so welcoming and every dog's dream: Plenty of room to play! Sarah is kind and really seems to love dogs, and she gives lots of attention. My Walter immediately went to bed as soon as I picked him up from his two nights there, he was so tired from all of the fun! I especially loved the photos Sarah shared with me of their morning walk- it was nice to see Walt enjoying himself. I can't recommend Sarah highly enough!”
4. Anneke M.
“This was my first time using Rover and I was feeling pretty anxious to be honest. Anneke was so great, willing to do a meet and greet to make sure honey was comfortable, and provided regular updates/ photos while we were away. Would definitely recommend!”
5. Michele W.
“I seldom leave my dog behind when traveling, but it was SO great knowing that he was safe and happy staying at Michele’s place. She sent pictures and daily updates so that I knew my pup was okay. It was also very clear that he got his far share of exercise, he slept all day!! Thanks again !!”
6. Colby W.
“Colby loves dogs and it shows! She’s quite knowledgeable. She’s got a great set-up and gets to know your dog. My dog had a good time-proof was in the photos she sent!”
7. Maria C.
“Maria is an amazing sitter. I'm so glad she is close by. My dog Aidan is 14 and I didn't want to leave him at a traditional boarding kennel. Maria provided daily updates with pics which put me at ease while I was away, I could tell Aidan had a great time with her and Lalo. Plenty of play time and outdoor excursions.”
8. Jackie M.
“Jackie has been amazing with both our pugs! He has worked with our hectic schedule to make things so much easier for us. Thankful we found them. Our dogs love their large yard!”
9. Isaac O.
About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. I am currently not working, and will be working on online college courses from home for the foreseeable future. Therefore I have a very flexible schedule, and can make all the time necessary to keep any pets entertained and well taken care of! I have a very sweet four year old male English Cream Golden Retriever, named Nigel, who loves friends more than anything (other than treats) and will be my permanent doggie daycare assistant. We have a large 2.5 acre property that is partially fenced, with large yard space to run in, and wooded nature trails in the back for walks and lots of sniffs. We are also about 5 minutes away from a beautiful dog park and miles of nature trails that we try to go to every day.
10. Rebecca M.
About: Having been a pet owner for all my life, I am familiar with all sizes and temperaments of dog and cat breeds. I also have experience caring for bunnies, birds and livestock. I’m recently retired so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My house is available if you need boarding or I can come to you. When your dog is in my care they will not be off-leash while outdoors unless you have a safe space for them, such as a fenced-in yard. They will get pets and cuddles, treats and exercise. I will follow your written instructions for their care and require your cell number as well as access to your vet.
11. Chelsey Y.
“This was our first Rover experience. We were beyond pleased with Chelsey! She took such good care of our girl. We got daily pics and knew she was in great hands. We will definitely be using her again!”
12. Kim H.
“Kim was great. Met up in advance for a meet and greet. Lots of photos and play time for the dog when she was with Kim. Would recommend her.”
13. Faye & Guy R.
“Faye did an amazing job with our two anxious boys. She made them feel comfortable and made sure they got all the snuggles and outside time during our ski weekend. She sent adorable photos and was very communicative. We will be contacting Faye again when we visit next!”
14. Eric A.
“We recently went on an overseas trip and needed somewhere for our pup to stay. We definitely didn't want to board him at a kennel/doggie daycare, so reached out to Eric. I can't put into words how happy we were with Eric & his family for how they took care of Jerome. Frequent photos and updates allowed us to enjoy our trip while knowing that Jerome was being treated as part of their family. Well definitely be reaching out to Eric again if/when we need a place for Jerome to stay. Would rate 10 stars if we could, such a great experience (for us and Jerome) :)”
15. Melissa P.
“I can't think of anyone better than Melissa to be a pet sitter. I am her mother so the advantage is that I know her well and I witness daily the care she gives her pets- mostly dogs - but her daughter now has a cat who is treated like a princess. Melissa walks her dogs daily. Always on a leash where required but also has some special places where dogs can be unleashed. Pets are well fed, get treats (when they behave😂), have toys, warm beds, warm jackets. She would be the person that not only feeds, walks, pets but also genuinely cares about them. I truly believe river.com couldn't find anyone better suited!!! Rachel Pinard”
16. Stephanie & John D.
“Our dog Omelette absolutely loved her stay with Stephanie and John! She had a blast playing with her pups in the backyard and Stephanie sent us lots of photos so we always felt connected. I'd definitely book a stay for Omelette with Stephanie and John again and would recommend them :)”
17. Christopher L.
“I have known Chris for over 35 years, and he has always been a caring, kind friend. He's had many pets over the years, and he's always treated them as members of his family who deserve love, support, care, and kindness. Chris is also active and healthy, and loves getting out into nature - so I'm sure he'll love taking pets out on walks and hikes.”
18. Whitney H.
“Simba was super happy when we picked him up. Whitney kept us updated with photos all weekend and her daughter was adorable with our dog which made us very happy!”
19. Brittany T.
“Brittany was incredible with our fur babies! She updated us frequently with pictures and videos. She kept in constant contact. Drop off and pick up were both extremely easy and convenient. Anytime going forward, I’ll be using her services!”
20. Kelly R.
“Kelly is tremendous. We are so thankful. This was our first time leaving Teddy with someone AND he has some special needs, and Kelly took care of everything. We felt so safe and secure. Thank you! Can’t wait to bring him back.”
