About: Hi there! We’re a husband-and-wife team with a lifelong love for animals and a deep respect for the homes and families we care for. Between the two of us, we’ve grown up surrounded by a lively crew of animals—dogs, cats, horses, parrots, rabbits, and even chickens! Today, we share our home with four beloved cats and are excitedly preparing to welcome two puppies to the family. Whether you need someone to watch over your home, your pets, or both, we treat every animal like they’re our own and every space with the care and attention it deserves. Reliable, experienced, and always communicative, we’re here to bring peace of mind while you’re away. How We Work: I work remotely full-time, so I’m able to bring my work (and plenty of pet snuggles!) wherever I go. This means your pets get consistent companionship throughout the day. My husband, Cort, is available for pet and house sitting full-time, so between the two of us, your home and animals will be well cared for with plenty of love, attention, and presence around the clock. What We Offer: We exclusively provide care in your home, where your pets feel most comfortable and secure. I work remotely full-time and bring my laptop wherever I go, so your pets will have steady companionship throughout the day. My husband, Cort, is available for pet and house sitting full-time, which means between the two of us, your animals get nearly constant love, supervision, and care—without ever leaving the comfort of their own space.

Wonderful, simply wonderful. We could write 5 pages of examples of how well Sylvia took care of our girls (2 really big newfies). We have never left the girls with strangers (or neighbors) so we were very nervous. All for not! She left us a detailed daily diary, she texted often and included videos and/or photos, she did not hesitate to ask questions, she kept up our floors (no small job with newfs), and encouraged time outside and playtime. She is very flexible and so loving to our girls (maybe they are looking out the front window for Sylvia to come back!) We would highly recommend Sylvia without any hesitation as pet sitter, house sitter and newfie friend and caretaker.
