“We had two dogs stay with Milissa for 4.5 days. This was our first time boarding them anywhere so we weren’t sure what to expect. We had an initial visit to introduce our dogs and discuss arrangements before the scheduled date. Everything was great! She sent daily photos, videos, and updates on how things were going. One of our dogs is an escape artist and she adapted to the challenges and handled it very well. Our dogs were well-cared for and seemed to have a blast with the other dogs. She has a big beautiful fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play. We had open communication through the stay and any concerns or questions were addressed quickly. About: Hello! I’m Vee. I’ve worked with pets for most of my life and have had a deep respect for animals as far back as I could remember. I used to cry over the dead birds our barn cat would kill as a child. I have had cats, dogs, rabbits, and have even helped rehab two baby squirrels. Each animal is different and deserves the care they need to feel cherished. I’m currently in grad school for social work so want to make the most of my free time by doing what I love: working with animals. Right now my availability is pretty open and I have the flexibility to work around your schedule. :) Your furry family members will be treated with the utmost care during their stay. I want them to feel as relaxed and stress free as possible but I know some new environments can be a little scary. I always use a sound machine at night with soothing music to ease any anxiety (and usually lots of pets and treats too!). My preference is that dogs are crated at night to help ease anxiety (and to prevent any night time shenanigans) but if your dog is unfamiliar with a crate that’s no problem. I can try working with them on crate training with lots of positive reinforcement or I can set up a comfy spot for them in our guest bedroom. Please please please let me know if your pet has any issues with potty training. I will 100% adjust to their needs and take them out as often as necessary to avoid any accidents. :)

She and her husband have turned a small barn-shed into the cutest doggie Airbnb, with a fenced-in area for the dogs to run and play. We especially loved knowing that Nicole sleeps in the barn with them overnight. It was so obvious that Nicole truly loves animals and treated Molly like one of her own.
