My name is Haley and I've been a dog walker and overnight sitter for many animal friends in the Fairmount area for three years now, and have been a professional animal caregiver for about 8 years total. I’ve previously worked at NYC's main animal shelter as an adoption counselor and foster parent for a long time, and feel comfortable working with animals with anxiety, leash reactivity, allergies, medications, or that require other special care, and always work them with the utmost patience. Though a lot of my clients tend towards the smaller side, I love our bigger buddies, too! I offer a very personalized care experience for your fur baby- all dogs are walked and cared for individually, never with other clients simultaneously. And when your pet is in my care, they are my absolutely priority focus! My schedule is completely self-made, so I often have last minute availability and a lot of flexibility when it comes to scheduling! Currently, the majority of my work is freelance editing, so my schedule is flexible and typically quite open. I have full week availability, especially for walks- even last minute bookings! I have a small, fenced backyard big enough for casual play and outdoor lounging, and a large main living area with space for fetch and plenty of cozy cuddle room on my big, pet friendly couch! About: I’ve been a dog owner for over a decade with a mix of different temperaments and personalities. I’ve also been dog and cat sitting for almost as long for friends and family. From little chihuahuas to Rottweilers, I’ve cared for many doggies. I’ve even helped train my mom’s three Belgian Malinois. Though I wouldn’t do it now with my toddler, I trained/rehabbed an abused Pitt bull seven years ago. She became the sweetest of all my dogs. My son, who is 16 months old and accompanying me, is very active, so we pretty much live outside (yes! Even when there is snow on the ground). We have a very flexible schedule except maybe when he goes to bed around 7:30/8pm Since people’s homes vary, I’m flexible with doing whatever it takes to keep your pet and others safe. Having no fence is not a problem as long as we have a leash :)

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 my family and friends always ask me to take care of walking ,feeding , and administrating medicine . I work at the Easton Elementary i usually get off anywhere between 3:55-4pm so I can do check ins and or walks Monday through Friday after I get off from work on the weekends I have a very flexible schedule so I can do anytime I had 2 dogs they passed away this year due to older age couple of months ago but I have a backyard with a closed off fence top to bottom so your pets will be very safe and have a good yard to run around and stretch

About: I'm an animal nerd who adores being around all types of animals! I've developed my skills in reading dogs' body language and have cared for dogs that need medication treatments. I have volunteered at animal shelters during my college years and helped a surrendered cat, who was extremely nervous and scared, gain back her confidence; I even had her eating treats from my hand in only a couple hours! I'm extremely driven and passionate about the care of beloved pets because pets are a part of the family! I work Tuesdays - Fridays from 10AM to 5PM, but there are times where I have to work late. I'm usually off Saturdays - Mondays, but there are times where I have to work in the evenings on Saturdays and the afternoon on Sundays; I will always be off on Mondays. I'm attentive with animals and make sure their needs are met: food, water, meds. I will take your pet on their daily walk routine, make sure they have ample time to play outside, keep them entertained, and if permitted take them to local parks to keep them socialized.
