I’ve had such a wonderful experience with Billie! She is consistently punctual, incredibly kind, and communicates well. I always know what’s going on thanks to her thoughtful updates, and she’s great about letting me know of any scheduling changes well in advance — usually at least a week ahead, which I really appreciate. It’s such a relief knowing my dog is in caring, reliable hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and genuinely wonderful with pets!

About: We've had pets as long as I can remember. If we didn't find them, they found us. I'm retired now and looking to share my love and experience with your fur family. I go for walks multiple times a day and enjoy outdoor activities. I'm recently retired and have nothing but time to care for your loved ones. Available any day of the week and weekends. I have experience giving medicine and caring for older dogs, energetic dogs, and puppies. I can stop in multiple times a day any day of the week or they can stay at our house with 3 acres of land and a trail for outdoor entertainment.

About: I have 10 years of pet sitting under my belt! On top of having four dogs of my own! I am able to pet sit multiple dogs or just 1 dog! I currently work full time with a pretty consistent schedule, i also am never busy after work. The latest i am off is 5 and that’s every other Saturday. I like to know the pets everyday routine. I also prefer to watch them at my client’s home so it’s less stressful the fur babies.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs a majority of my life. I am fun, detailed oriented, and have an open schedule! I have a lot of friends in the business as well who every day who provide me with new and different skills! I am currently finishing up my freshman year of college! During the summer and school year I do not work part time, so I will have plenty of time to care for your pups! I have an electric fence in my home that houses one golden doodle named Whiskey. We feed her twice a day and always make sure to give her plenty of time outside on walks, playing fetch, and just spending time in the sunshine. Her water bowl is always full and there’s always a toy around to play!

Patience is the absolute best. She has watched our dog multiple times and he isn’t easy but she always makes it work! Also, last time she was here we had a horrible maintenance issue on a holiday and she let us know immediately, grabbed a neighbor for help, and called our emergency maintenance and we were so thankful she went above and beyond to keep our pup safe and our house in great shape. Thank you again!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years through helping friends, family, and neighbors with feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I’ve also had my own dog for 6 years, so I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for your pet. I’m patient, reliable, and comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and gets plenty of attention while you’re away. I work Monday through Thursday, which makes me fully available on weekends for pet care. I can provide walks and drop-in visits on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with flexible timing. I make sure pets get consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the weekend so they feel comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment for every pet in my care. I closely follow each pet’s routine and any instructions provided by the owner to ensure consistency and comfort. I supervise pets at all times during visits and outdoor time, and I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure. I treat every pet like my own and prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being.

About: I’ve cared for cats my entire life and have experience with a wide range of personalities, from social and affectionate to shy or recently rescued. I’ve provided pet sitting for family and friends, including both cats and dogs. I also have hands on experience helping stray and rescue cats adjust to indoor environments. In addition, I’m comfortable handling small animals and have experience owning and caring for ferrets. I prioritize patience, consistency, and understanding each pet’s individual needs to make sure they feel safe and comfortable while in my care. I currently just graduated high school at York County School of Technology while enrolled in the Licensed Cosmetology program! I obtained my cosmetology license in December of 2025. I’m currently waiting to begin my journey in the esthetics side of the cosmetology industry! I have a very flexible schedule on the weekends, as well as mid afternoon and nights. I personally prioritize creating a safe, calm, and stress free environment for every pet in my care. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, behavior, and any specific needs so I can keep their environment consistent and comfortable. I’m attentive to details such as securing doors, safe feeding practices, and monitoring behavior for any signs of stress or illness. I’m also respectful of client homes and follow all instructions carefully to ensure both pets and property are well cared for. For more anxious or shy animals, I focus on patience and gentleness to build trust at their pace. I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you feel confident and informed while you’re away.

About: I've personally worked with a professional dog trainer, a doggy day care, and a pet store, so I have various knowledge when it comes to how to interact, play, treat, walk, watch, and love your dogs. I also have personal experience with seniors, puppies, special needs and x-large large dogs. I also have much understanding and experience with cats and kittens as well I'm currently Part-Time, which means I will have more time to watch over and love on your babies. Weekends and holidays are no problem either. I believe (and have experienced it with my own pets) that pets are more comfortable in their own home, and that's why I offer to come and house/pet sit in the safe haven that is your house. Your pet will get treated, and spoiled, as if they were my own

About: I've always had lots of love for pets since a young age. Growing up my family had a house of 2 dogs and 3 cats, which means a lot of bowls to be filled, yard and litter box to be cleaned, and snuggles to be given and received at the end of the night. My on-hand experiences have ranged since 2017 with my own pet sitting clients, worked as a receptionist at a local hospital, and as a caretaker at Petco. I understand the importance of treating pets as if they were my own. Safety, comfortability, and attention are my top priorities when I'm responsible for your beloved furry ones. I work as a part time school driver, Mon- Thurs, 6:45am-9am and Fri 1:30pm-4p until end of May 2026. I'm currently attending night school until July 2026. Consists of Mon-Thurs, 4pm-9pm. I am very available and more open Sat and Sun all day. In the past, I had my own senior cat (Sapphire) who I loved and cared for every day for 3 years until she passed onto the rainbow bridge. I personally understand how that bond and connection feels. Although my present living situation at an apartment doesn't allow pets, for the past two years I've been housesitting at my clients' homes. I respect and follow the guidelines of each and every one. During most of client's departure, I've collected or separated mail, trash is out on time, and ensured the home is cleaned for when they return. I enjoy sending daily updates through texting, photos, or videos to the owner with our activities from playing, walking, feeding and napping. Clear communication with dietary, medication, grooming and other needs is my responsibility. I will do everything to the best of my abilities to ensure a stress-free time for my clients and their pets.

Rebecca was great with my dog Pepper, who is shy at first until she warms up to a new person. I got daily text messages about their morning walks along with photos. She also had some all natural treats for Pepper (after she asked if it was ok for her to have them). I would defiantly use Rebecca again while we are out of town.

About: I love dogs more than anything and I put in 110% to make sure your dog is properly cared for. I've had 5 dogs and had a little dog named Eric (rip) and I've raised and trained him since he was a puppy. I have some vet experience and I've worked at a pet resort so I've been with all kinds of dogs imaginable and I've given them their meds and anything special they need. I've also worked with cats, rats, birds, and fish. ✨Pet CPR Certified✨ I work full time, 8hrs at most so your pet would be out with my wife or if they’re crate trained they may be in their crate as my wife works from home, but other than that when I’m home we play in our fenced yard and go for walks! I have a fenced in yard and the pups are kennel trained so if we go out they stay in their houses til we get back. Whatever rules you have for your place, I will follow to the T ☺️

About: Hi! I’m Maggie, a lifelong animal lover and dog mom to two sweet pups. I’ve been caring for pets for over 15 years, starting back in high school when I became the neighborhood go-to sitter. Since then, I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes and personalities, plus a handful of cats and other small pets along the way. I treat my own dogs the way most people treat their kids; with patience, structure, fun, and tons of love. And I bring that exact same energy to every pet I care for. Your pet’s comfort and routine come first, and I always take time to learn what makes them feel safe, happy, and understood. As someone who often looks for sitters for my own dogs, I truly understand how important it is to find the right person; someone you trust, someone who communicates, and someone who treats your pets like family. My boyfriend and I take that responsibility seriously. While I’m the one offering pet-sitting services, he’s at home with our own doggos, making sure they’re happy, safe, and sticking to their routine. Because we know firsthand what good care looks like, we make it a priority to provide that same level of comfort, attention, and reliability to every pet we look after. Your pets deserve someone who “gets it,” and that’s exactly the kind of care we strive to provide. I currently work as a case manager, which means my weekly schedule is flexible and varies day-to-day. I have appointments at different times throughout the week, but I’m able to come and go as needed. With a little notice, I can schedule my work appointments around your availability and your pet’s routine. I’m used to balancing a dynamic schedule, so making sure your pet gets the consistent care, walks, and attention they need is always a priority. As a dog mom to two high-energy, love-filled pups, I know how important structure, attention, and affection are. At home, our days include frequent walks, plenty of yard time to burn off energy, and a consistent meal and treat routine. We use clear, consistent verbiage for commands and always reward good behavior; lots of praise, treats, and even more snuggles. I love keeping dogs mentally and physically stimulated, so car rides, errands, and controlled socialization are a regular part of our routine. I bring that same approach to caring for pets in a client’s home. I follow your instructions closely, keep your pet’s routine intact, and make sure they feel safe, understood, and loved while you’re away. Whether they need exercise, structure, gentle reassurance, or just someone to hang out with, I meet each pet where they are and give them the same level of care I give my own.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your East Prospect. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in East Prospect.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in East Prospect. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
