About: I am a genuine animal lover. I have had multiple dogs throughout my life, and I currently have a black lab named Onyx who is an integral member of my family. I consistently take care of my family and friends' pets- I am comfortable managing each pet's individual needs and complexities. I have a background in teaching K-12 which translates nicely to the skills needed when caring for animals. I have worked with my dog to heal off leash, walk on leash on the right side without pulling, take treats nicely, and stay in our yard without going into the street. I have cared for young dogs that chew and need constant supervision, high energy dogs that need a lot of exercise and attention, and senior dogs that need regular medication and a lot of TLC! I will treat your pet as my own because they aren't just pets! They are family. I have a very flexible schedule. I am available throughout the week to keep your pet/s happy! My dog Onyx is a typical Velcro dog and goes with me on regular outdoor adventures. We take regular walks and love getting onto trails. We also spend a lot of time outside while I'm gardening and tending to the yard. Onyx is a regular companion to my wife and I during our day to day activities. Our plans revolve around including our dog and the pets I am caring for because we see them as family. I care for animals with love and compassion. If a rule needs to be followed, we will be following it! I will treat your dog and home with respect following your rules and instructions. I will provide loving care to dogs, cats, and other small animals like birds, hamsters, rabbits etc, and I will leave your house in just as good, if not better, condition than I found it! I work full time, but my schedule at work is incredibly flexible, so I am available on weekdays and weekends. I can take animals on walks if needed, or just be there to feed them and let them out daily. I am very flexible in terms of what services I offer, as it depends on what services you need! I can come and petsit at your house, and I can spend the night if you don't want your fluffy friends to get lonely. I can board for certain pets but not all, as I have a very picky cat of my own, so it is best to message me directly about what you are looking for!
