“Erica, Thomas, and their family were amazing to my sweet Kona! She’s a young GSP so she’s very active and high energy. She’s a great dog but not everyone can handle her energy level. They were great and immediately knew what to do with exercising and treating her like family. It helps that they have a big front lawn and had other dogs staying with them too! Kona made great friends judging from the pics. But most importantly, they went out of their way to be her dog handler for us on our wedding day. They made our special day even more magical by letting Kona participate in the ceremony as our dog of honor. She was tired for 2 full days after we picked her up! That’s a long time for a GSP. So grateful!”

About: I have had dogs, cats, birds and reptiles my entire life. I can handle all energy levels and know how to channel them accordingly to most breeds. I currently have a dog, Tiller! He is a 5-6 year old Black Mouth Cur rescue from Southold Animal Shelter and I treat him as my son! I have raised a few puppies to adulthood before him including my late Gimli, and have spent many many days with dog friends over the course of my life. Your fur baby will be treated like family and I believe that all creatures are allowed on the furniture! Life is just better with animals! I currently work remotely so I am able to give your pet 100% of my attention! I walk my own dog twice a day for 30-40 minutes and take him out for a “sun time” session weather permitting as well! I have a partially fenced in yard but I do have a short deck where Tiller my dog loves to sunbathe on his bed! I have an extra for a friend and am extremely careful with taking my dogs on walks! I have a very long driveway away from the road so it’s very private and serene where I live, the perfect getaway for your fur baby while you have to work or vacation! I can also (with permission granted) take your dog to the dog park if they are friendly with other dogs! If you are boarding with me, your dog is welcome to sleep wherever they would like as I believe animals are always welcome to feel right at home!

About: As a life long pet lover, I would love the opportunity to share my home with your cherished pet! We recently lost our Great Dane Cookie, so I am comfortable with dogs and puppies of all sizes and ages. Our fenced in yard and quiet dead end street allows for plenty of outdoor activities, whether playing ball in the back yard, or a nice walk around the neighborhood! Or if hanging out inside is preferred, we can do that, too! I live and work PT in the same town, so it's not a problem to get home for walks or potty breaks. My sister is in the vet medical field, and both my mom and aunt are in the pet sitting industry as well. I work part time about 5 minutes down the road from my house, so getting home for potty breaks or walks is not a problem at all. We have a fenced in yard, as well as live on a quiet dead end street. No other dogs live on any side of us. We recently lost our Great Dane Cookie, so we are looking for someone to love on.

“Lisa was amazing. We booked last minute since we needed someone to watch our dog while we attended a wedding nearby. She was able to accommodate us and her love of all animals is truly evident. She gave us a tour of her house, emphasizing all the precautions she takes to make her 4 dogs and a couple cats safe. And she assured us our dog would get the same protection and care. She had the house setup for the pet's comfort. They had access to furniture, beds, water dishes and a wee-wee pad if they needed it. Lisa took the time to ask us questions about our dog, so she knew what to expect and how she could take the best care of him. She even was able to administer his medicine during the stay. That night she sent us pictures assuring us he was doing well. We highly recommend Lisa to watch your Pet in her home.”

I have called out of work just to make sure the dogs I’m boarding are receiving 100% of my care while they are with me. When I am boarding, dogs get walks all day long, come with me in my car, and are treated like a guest would be treated in my house. I even like to spoil them with pup cups from Starbucks while they stay with me!
