She also has great intuition when assessing a pet’s temperament. When her dog came into her life over 15 years ago, he was a malnourished puppy someone found roaming on the street. He was covered in mange, and Ruth took him in without hesitation. She was able to nurse him back to health with veterinary guidance, and gave him a second chance at life! She is the only person I trust to take care of my dogs when I have to leave town. Ruth has such a fun and positive personality that animals just seem to flock to her!”

About: I have had cats and dogs since I was 6 years old. I have experience taking care of them from the puppy/kitten stage on up to elderly. I am also experienced with giving them pills and trimming cat claws. I have also spent many hours walking dogs that like to pull. I work weekdays 8am-5pm, but I work from home 90% of the time so I can be flexible. I'm home most weekends because I have two pups of my own that I take care of. I have two dogs and a cat of my own. The dogs are pit bull mixes and total love bugs; they just want to be snuggled and baby-talked to. The cat is very sweet and sticks to himself during the day. I have a fenced in back yard and live in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood. I have two little girls that love to help with our pets and are very gentle and sweet with them. I'm flexible with needs and willing to adapt to what the individual pup or kitty needs!

“Josh has been watching our 3 dogs for us when we travel for the last couple years and he has proven to be very dependable. The best thing about Josh is that he not only takes care of our dogs, he plays with them. Luckily, I am not the jealous type because there are times when they seem more excited to see him than me! Seriously though, it is such a relief to not have to worry about them when we go out of town. We know that he will be there and, since they love him, they will not be too sad while we are gone.”
