About: Hi there, I’m Veronica. I have had pets of all kinds growing up. From cats and dogs to reptiles and hamsters I can handle it all! I have a dog Abby (8) and my kitty Leo (9) I also have a few beautiful fish tanks and 2 different breeds of frogs. I enjoy being active and going on adventures such as hiking and exploring nature. I love walks around town and the park, and your pet will love it too! I have reliable transportation and can travel to you and do drop off/pick ups to daycare and back. 😊 I am available full time to play with your fur kids! I am a stay at home mom and doing this allows me to earn some money and have my baby with me. I can drop by for walks or anything else your pet may need anytime. My #1 priority will be taking care of your pet. I am happy to send pics and update you during the visit 😊 As of this time I am unable to have any clients for daycare in my home. I am very reliable and trustworthy and I enjoy helping others. I can follow directions well and can handle it all.

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and have always loved being around animals. Caring for them comes naturally to me, and I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ve been a trusted friend for many people when they need someone reliable to watch their animals, whether that means feeding, walking, playing, or just keeping them company. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel comfortable and loved. I’m responsible, attentive, and enjoy getting outside for walks and fresh air with dogs. Whether your pet needs exercise, playtime, or calm companionship, I’m happy to provide caring and dependable support while you’re away. I work remote and choose my own hours which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets around your schedule. About: I grew up with animals and have been trusted by family and friends to pet sit. I have worked at a doggie daycare place and currently work in the vet medicine field. I plan on staying in the vet medicine field, but it is always nice to see animals where they are relaxed and happy. I do work full time and sometimes long hours but can always check in on animals before and after work. Some days, I will be working in Eagle River so it would be hard for me to check in on animals during the day. I am very good at following instructions so if there is a certain routine that an animal is used, I will follow it. I try to be aware of my surroundings because I never want an animal to accidentally hurt themself on something or ingest anything.

About: Hey there fury friends and owners! I'm Bailey and I love animals, I have car, dog, bird and farm animal experience. I would love to help youtake care of yours. I'm so looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks for stopping by my page. My availability currently is pretty open. I’m available part-time on a weekly service-perhaps every couple days if needed. It all depends on the location and services needed. I’m unsure how many pets I’m willing to take on at the moment. I can’t help but speak to an animal in high pitch tones as well as full on conversation with them like they’re answering me! Anything to get a head twist or a butt wiggle.

About: Dogs are life. I've raised and trained several puppies, healed sick dogs with herbs and cared generally for dogs my entire life. I actually became an herbalist because I started healing dogs first. I live and work at home so I currently have all the time in the world to pamper, hike with and love up your pups. I have a fenced yard in the back and a whole 5 acres of roaming land and a doggo to keep your company and show em the lay of the land.

“Rebecca was great! I asked for her help with dog walking since I work at home I don’t have all the time to dedicate. Not only did she walk them but she also work with my dogs on some training. I felt like she really knew what she was doing. She gave me a lot of photos and videos so I felt super secure about what happened during the walk. She also provided me with an update on how to walk went.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old, my senior girl I’ve had since then is 18 yrs old and still going strong! I have two big Great Pyrenees/ Saint Bernard mixes and we take them on walks regularly. I work a nine to five and am free on weekends, so I hang out and take care of my pets in the evenings when I get off work. I don’t currently live at home with my pets so I don’t get to see them as often as I would like because I’m in school. My dogs live with my parents and we have a fenced in yard and a space in our house just for the dogs. I live by myself though if your dog isn’t comfortable around other animals!
About: I have my own dogs and I’ve watched my families dogs as well. I’d say I definitely have experience in taking care of them so it’s not a worry. I’m a full-time student with availability Sunday through Tuesday. My schedule is limited, but I’d love to spend time caring for your furry friends! I offer lots of play time and one on one time with your pets. I’ll keep them safe, fed, and most importantly have fun 💖

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your East Cathlamet. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route , the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in East Cathlamet after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.
Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
