About: Hi there, I’m Veronica. I have had pets of all kinds growing up. From cats and dogs to reptiles and hamsters I can handle it all! I have a dog Abby (8) and my kitty Leo (9) I also have a few beautiful fish tanks and 2 different breeds of frogs. I enjoy being active and going on adventures such as hiking and exploring nature. I love walks around town and the park, and your pet will love it too! I have reliable transportation and can travel to you and do drop off/pick ups to daycare and back. 😊 I am available full time to play with your fur kids! About: My friends and family have come to me over the years to assist with problem behaviors and care for their pets. I have 3 dogs of my own that are apart of my family, they are 2 pugs and a Newfoundland so I have years of personal experience working with small and large dogs. I have a lot of experience working with my own dogs and in a kennel that requires 24/7 care. I provide daily exercise and care for my 3 dogs. I can provide care by providing activities of physical and mental exercises inside and outside the home to basic care of feeding and letting out to go to the bathroom. I am experienced with walking and training dogs, and I also love to just hang out with an animal for their entertainment (if you find yourself talking to your pet like a human then I’m the perfect person for you - I’m pretty sure my pups can understand everything I say to them & they talk back in their own way). I have dealt with animals who eat anything that’s up for grabs to a very specific diet. I understand the importance of routine for our animals and will respect what you need for your pet. For special care - If you need to make a very detailed list I would love for you to share with me and know it will be followed. I am comfortable and familiar with oral medications from puppies/dogs at the rescue I worked at and dogs of my own. My pugs are higher maintenance so I am familiar with medications administered by mouth, ears, and eyes. I also love to brush and maintain animals fur/coats, it is really a good way to bond if your animal is comfortable with it. I am currently going through a grooming course, and I have experience of my own from my personal dogs and working with puppies/dogs at the rescue. This includes working with animals that do not like or are new to grooming. I am mainly experienced with simple brushing and bathing, so I will stick to that level for now and I hope to be a groomer in the future once I’ve gone through my course and gained experience. You don’t have to worry about coming home to a fresh bob cut on your pet, luckily I have dogs of my own to practice on for now! About: I've been around all animals almost all of my life. They bring me so much love & I love giving it in return. I've also had the honor of working for a veterinarian for 10 years. I recently retired early and have time to spend at home with animals. Lots of land for exercise and all pets stay inside with me. I live on six acres with two dogs, two mini donkeys, a goat and a horse. The entire property is fenced with a barn and shelter for large animals.
