About: Honest, Experienced, Reliable pet sitting and care. We take great pride in forming a bond with each pet we take care of. This is something that we love doing and will love yours like our own. As an added bonus you should get a few great photos of your favorite creature! We have taken care of Dogs, Cats, Parrots, Turtles, Fish, Chickens, Ducks, Goats, Pigs, Horses, worms, snails, etc. If you have some fun and interesting animals we would love to come, meet you and them, and take care of them while you are out of town, or just at work! We welcome pets that love to snuggle in bed, elderly pets, as well as difficult and anxious pets. Sometimes our posted rates don’t meet your special needs pets, and appreciate your patience in the negotiation process. You will get the best available and individualized care of your pets in our home, or yours. Daily updates along with photos and videos of your pet, and have the peace of mind they are being loved and cared for just like you would at your own home. We welcome training opportunities, and can continue treat and/or clicker training and potty training as well. My husband worked at a local Donkey rescue and I have been rescuing Strays since 1985. We both just love and care for animals. The nitty gritty details: We only watch pets from 1 family at a time. This lessens the stress on them, and us, and allows us to give them the BEST care possible. This also costs a bit more. Our time is valuable, as we know yours does as well. While we are capable of hosting multiple pets, we choose to focus our time and care on your families pets 1 at a time. We do require a meet and greet, and sometimes a “trial run” for certain breeds, elderly pets, or pets we will be watching for over 2 days. In most circumstances this is NOT required, but we do want to meet those who are known to have separation anxiety, barking issues, food aggression or aggression in general, have high energy needs, special diets and medications and any pet that doesn’t do well with strangers. Day care pets during the week do need to be fairly well mannered, and not have barking and/or major anxiety issues. Drop off before 8:00am and Pick-Ups after 8:00pm will be charged an additional $10 per hour. Pets not picked up within 15 minutes of the scheduled pick up window will be charged an additional $20/hr. I currently work full time remote, so will have plenty of time to play and care for your pets! We have a regular schedule of play time, including walking or outdoor time every 2-4 hours for 15-30 minutes. We have a fully fenced backyard, and ALWAYS leash ALL pets when outside our yard. We have had several “runners”, corgis and cats that want to bolt for the first sign of freedom… or squirrels/birds etc. We take great caution to make sure your pet is safe at ALL times.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, starting with family pets and then helping out coworkers, roommates, and friends. Now, thanks to Rover, I’ve expanded that experience by sitting for dogs, cats, and even chickens and ducks through multiple bookings. I’ve stayed overnight, done daily drop-ins, and cared for everything from laid-back seniors to energetic young dogs. No matter the setting, I take pet care seriously. I follow routines closely, respect the home I’m in, and always aim to make pets feel calm, safe, and well cared for. Whether it’s their first time away from their owner or they’ve done this before, I treat every animal with the same attentiveness and warmth I’d hope someone would show mine. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I’ve built my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention and care. I’m currently studying for the bar exam, which takes place at the end of July, so my days are structured and home-based—perfect for maintaining a steady rhythm for feeding, walks, and playtime. After the exam, my schedule opens up significantly, and I’ll have full availability for longer or more frequent bookings starting in August. I don’t host pets in my home, but I take pride in following your routines closely and keeping pets content in their own space. I’m neat, respectful of your home, and mindful of both your pet’s needs and your home’s security.

“Melissa always does such a great job spoiling our pup! She’s thorough and makes sure he has all his needs met and then some! He loves her visits!”

“Kyla is so friendly, reliable, and quickly responsive, and our wiener dogs love her! She has been very gracious with her time in letting us schedule as-needed.”

About: I have a personalized approach and am dedicated to meeting the unique needs of every furry friend. With extensive experience in training puppies and providing specialized care for senior pets, I ensure that each animal receives the attention and support they deserve. My ability to tailor activities and routines to suit individual personalities and requirements sets me apart, creating a comfortable and enriching experience for pets under my care. From basic obedience training to gentle senior companionship, I'm committed to providing top-notch care that fosters trust and happiness for both pets and their owners. I am Pet First Aid & CPR Certified. I live in a private association and have a sizable, secluded yard that borders a stream and pond. Since I work remotely from home four days a week and have summers off, pet care seamlessly integrates into my routine. Each morning, I dedicate time to feeding, walking and playing with my pets before diving into work tasks. Throughout the day, I take short breaks to ensure they receive attention and exercise. During the summer months, I have the flexibility to extend our outdoor adventures and spend quality time bonding with them on the the trails or swimming. Regular grooming sessions, vet appointments, and training sessions are also scheduled into my weekly agenda to ensure their overall well-being. Essentially,d pets are an integral part of my daily and weekly rhythms. I provide pets with a quiet space, leash walks in safe areas, and separate feeding spots to ensure comfort and safety. I integrate visiting pets with my own for socialization and play. Opportunity for off-leash adventures for dogs with great recall. I have a sizable, secluded yard away from traffic.

About: I live alone with no pets but miss having my own. I do travel and play golf so I don't want to own a pet at the moment but I miss having a dog or cat around. I have a flexible schedule and even better is your pet likes to ride in the car for short errands or a trip to the lake or the park. I have a nice yard in a quite neighborhood where I can walk a dog on a leash. Bright, clean and sunny home in Windham.

About: I've had animals my whole life. I have house sat my friends and family's pets for years while they go on vacation. In my spare time I work with the animals at the Animal Refuge League both dogs and cats. They have provided different types of training for both cat and canine care. I work from home so I am able to house sit and still continue working. This allows me to be with youe pets as often as possible during your time away. I do not care for pets in my home since I have a cat and a dog myself. (They get watched by my roommate while I'm away)

About: I am 28, very responsible and I love animals. It makes me happy to be there for them when their humans can’t be. It breaks my heart when animals are left home all alone. I’ve had pets my entire life and couldn’t imagine life without them. They deserve nothing but the best. I always put their needs first and I am very patient and loving and can give them whatever they need. I worked at a doggy day care center in Colorado where I cared for many energetic dogs at once. Hilarious and fulfilling job! I got to know each dogs personality and I learned to safely gauge their body language and quirks to ensure they were always kept safe and comfortable. Now I live in sebago, work in bridgton and I am looking to care for pets 3-4 days a week on my off days to supplement my current income. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or an adventure outside, I love making sure all pet friends feel happy, safe, and loved while their humans are away. I can bring your dog on rides, hikes or to the dog park if they crave exercise and fun! Or I can simply stay home with them and give belly scratches and toys if that’s what they enjoy. I am very respectful of other people’s homes and will follow all rules. I make sure that it’s left just like I found it. I know how stressful it is to leave your pets behind but you can relax knowing they will be loved and cared for until you return! I am available to house sit/ dog walk Thursdays-Saturdays and every other Wednesday (refer to my availability calendar). On these days you can be sure that your pets get my unwavering attention all day and night. I don’t usually accept requests on sun-tues because I work long hours on those days and won’t be able to give your pet the time and attention they deserve. Sunday evenings are sometimes open upon request. I try to spend most of my time outside as I believe dogs like fresh air and nature more than being cooped up inside. I take the time to learn about the animal to make sure they are comfortable and happy and that we are doing what they enjoy. I always check to make sure toys/ choking hazards are picked up before I leave them alone. And I leave them with plenty of water unless otherwise directed by the owner. I don’t let big dogs run or play immediately after eating/drinking because of the risks to their stomach “flipping”. I use common sense and ensure they are always safe.

“Stacy is great! Will definitely be utilizing her more this summer :) She is very attentive and I can tell she is very comfortable with many breeds (I have a Belgian Malinois who is high drive).”

About: I have been assisting my Girlfriend with many of her clients when she can't take them.I am very attentive and enjoy playing with them. I will treat every animal if it were my own. I also continue my education on dog care so to provide the best experience for your dog. To add..I am also experienced with cats as well. Being older(61) I feel I am a responsible person that would make sure all my clients and their pets needs are met. I also respond to phone messages and emails promply to make sure you concerns are addressed as soon as possible. I am currently working full time but.I adjust my schedule to fit the needs of your pet. I can give potty breaks as much as needed as my girlfriend who has been dog sitting for a few years can also assist in that. I am very attentive to your pet. Love playing with and walking them as well as just chilling on the couch with them. I am also very attentive to their feeding needs and will follow strict instructions of owner.

About: All of my first experiences were because the owners saw how much I adored their pet(s)! My very first job was when I was just a kid. I would stop-in with my neighbors black lab, Maddie, every Tuesday and Thursday when I got off the school bus. Since then I have pet sat for numerous neighbors, family, coworkers, friends, and friends of friends! I am experienced, reliable, and have a genuine love for all animals. As a longtime sitter, I have been thrilled to now use an app like Rover to broaden my reach as a sitter to clients I otherwise might not have met! I currently work events in Scarborough just a few days a week. My shifts usually range from around 2pm-7pm, but can vary. I work weddings from noon to midnights just about every Saturday in June, September and October. Usually I ask that a note is left letting me know your pets usual routine, where your pets things are kept, feeding instructions & portions, any medications needing to be administered, plants you need watered, what day trash day is, and any other note about your pet(s) or house I should know. (:

About: I grew up on a farm with lots of animals, so I'm no stranger to cats and dogs, chickens, goats or horses. I have hands on experience with special needs and old aged felines. I have been raising my own chaweenie for the last 10 years. I'm a self employed Independent Contractor, so I love to build things for my animals. I'm a high energy person with lots of care and affection to give. I'm a self employed PT Independent Contractor, in charge of my own schedule, so I can accept clients pre-planned or last minute. Having freedom to work part time grants me lots of pet play time. I have roughly a quarter acer, properly maintained fenced back yard. Fence is 5 feet tall chain link with privacy slats, to block out unwanted antagonists. I live in a 3 bedroom, modern house with a full basement. Animals are welcome to be free range within the home, and have their own full size couch to lounge on in the livingroom. Along with extra large dog beds and various sized kennels for the more private pets. Also, there is a 50ft long enclosed sunroom, for their enjoyment.

“Kristen was a real pleasure to work with.. Im comfortable with following any safety rules in any clients home.

“Jessica was fantastic! See was very communicative and sent me a bunch of photos from her visit with Roscoe. We came home to a happy doggo and I’d happily use her again.”

About: I got my first dog at age 7, after begging my parents for a number of years. Ever since then, I've been hooked on caring for and having my own animals. Throughout high school and college, I worked for a local veterinary office in the boarding kennels and as a vet assistant. Through my experience at this job, I gained a lot of knowledge in animal care; including dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, with a wide variety of needs. I myself have two dogs, 6 chickens, and a horse. I've also dog-sat for many clients throughout high school and college, and now have the space in my own home for one dog to stay with us at a time, to enjoy some other friends and a fenced yard! I currently work part time as a nurse, giving me a pretty flexible and plenty of time at home. I'd love to add some walks, drop-ins, and even boarding for one dog at a time in my home. I recently fenced in my yard to allow plenty of safe outdoor space for my two dogs to run and play, which they absolutely love. Along with play time in the yard, I live on a quiet street/ cul de sac where I can safely take pups for walks. Additionally, I could come to your house for drop in visits and/or walks.

About: I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding/grooming facility and have lots of experience with dogs of many breeds! I have also had many pets of my own! I work Monday, Wednesday and some Fridays, so I am available for dog walking and any pet care of your choice on Tuesdays and Thursdays and possibly Friday! Right now, I do not offer pet care in my own home, but I am able to come to your home and offer pet care!
