About: Hello! My name is Macey. Most of my experience comes from having my own fur baby! I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to take care of your pets. They are family and can’t be trusted with just anyone! Other experience I have is dog sitting often for friends and family. I love to go above and beyond with pets. Not just a simple check in but making sure they feel loved when you are away! I also enjoy walks and would love to give your pet some good exercise if it’s something they can handle :) I would love to meet you and hopefully be a go to sitter for your pets! I also have experience with reptiles as I had a bearded dragon. I do work a mostly remote job in marketing. I am expected to come in every now and then for meetings and content but I work in Thomasville! Hanging out with your pets is the perfect addition to my day as I can sit with them while working on my laptop! They wouldn’t have to wait for me to be done with my office work unless the day required that. This is something I would be happy to communicate depending on when my sitting services are needed :) I also have my own dog so I would of course need to check in on her during my time sitting your pets however, I live with family so I can leave her overnight if you needed someone to stay overnight. I care for pets of a client however the client sees fit! Animals have routines just like we do and my goal is to always make sure the pet can still be comfortable and stress free when their favorite human is gone! My dog is very go with the flow however my aunts dog is very routine and eats at a specific time of day. When I’m taking care of her dogs, I make sure to follow the routine they are used to. I would want to do the same with your pet! I am flexible and willing to work with you on what your pet needs.
About: I’ve cared for a variety of dogs since I was a kid. I worked at a kennel previously and have experience bathing, feeding, administering medication, and walking dogs. I have a Labrador Retriever that I regularly bathe, clip his nails, and clean his ears! I also have a cat as well. I have experience caring for many other animals too! I just graduated and would love to work out house sitting, drop in visits, or walks within my schedule and responsibilities! Most weekends I am available too! About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have had both dogs and cats since I was a young child. Growing up with pets taught me the importance of providing consistent care, patience, and love. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities for friends, family, and neighbors. My responsibilities have included feeding, refreshing water, administering oral medications when needed, taking dogs on walks, cleaning litter boxes, picking up after pets, playing with them, providing companionship, and making sure they stick to their normal routines so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. A few months ago, my boyfriend and I found an 8-year-old dog who was a stray in the woods. He lives with my boyfriend so you won’t have to worry about your pet in case they do not do well with other dogs. Welcoming him into our lives has been an incredibly rewarding experience and has taught me even more about earning a dog’s trust, being patient, and understanding that every pet has unique needs and a different personality. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll provide dependable care, plenty of attention, and regular updates so you can have peace of mind. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine. I work full-time, but I’m off all day on Mondays and Tuesdays, which gives me plenty of time for walks, playtime, and one-on-one attention. I’m also available after 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. When caring for pets in their home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get their walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I keep the home clean by cleaning up after pets and making sure food and water areas stay tidy. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners know how their pet is doing. I follow all care instructions carefully and respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home.
About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. Professionally I have worked with animals for about 5 years now. I worked at a doggy daycare for almost 3 years. Working there taught me a great deal about animal behavior and different kinds of dog personalities. I currently work at an animal hospital as a veterinary assistant. My job duties involve administering medication daily and taking care of both dogs and cats. I have previously worked at an emergency veterinary hospital as well, which helped me learn how to react best under pressure. I have 3 fur babies of my own (1 dog and 2 cats). I currently work full time as a veterinary assistant, so during the week I am only available before 7:30am and after 5:30pm. I am fully available on the weekends! I am happy to follow any directions left for me about caring for your fur babies! I have pets of my own that all have different feeding schedules, amounts, and medications. About: I’ve been a dog and cat groomer for 4 years. I grew up on a farm taking care of all the animals from horses, cows, pigs, chickens , dogs , cats , turkeys etc. I’m very patient with animals who take more time to get to know new people who come into their lives and I love my senior animals who take a little longer on our walks :) I just moved to Florida from Arizona. This will be my full time job for now until I am able to save up to start my own mobile dog and cat business and hopefully be able to provide grooming services to all my lovely clients I am very reliable and flexible. I have always been the neighborhood help for pet care when my neighbors went on vacation. I’ve helped with feeding their farm animal and their indoor animals . About: Although most people see this as a job, i see pet-sitting as a fun and exciting opportunity to make new friends all with their own personalities:)! Seeing as i don’t really find myself going out much now-a-days, pet sitting seems like the only right option needed to be taken way sooner. About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life and worked with many shelters to provide assistance with animals. Training to become a vet at my college of Florida State University. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
