About: I have experience in cat sitting with clients, some of them had anxious cats that were more on the spicy side. I gained their trust and surprised their owners when they found out how close and cuddly they got with me, that's my quality. I don't expect every cat to open all of their boundaries and I respect doing what they want. 😸 I am known to socialize with the cats outside of just feeding them and cleaning their litterbox. I have had 3 cats of my own, 2 which have been elderly cats who needed medicine and careful care. 💊 I am very good at administering meds and staying consistent. I walk with a cane so I am comfortable walking small dogs. 🐶 I have a very flexible schedule since I work from home. I can stop by any time in the mornings, afternoons, and also early evenings. When going to a client's home, I am very careful when entering and exiting the home when the door opens. I also do a head count of any cats including my own before leaving a house. I know from my own pet that they like to get curious and can suddenly go into a bathroom or closet and can get closed in. Just like my teaching days - taking head counts is important! I also watch the pets as they eat especially if there are multiple in a house so that they don't overeat by sneaking snacks from their pet buddies food.

About: I've been around animals my whole life! Family and friends have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets, both cats and dogs. I also worked for Wag, which I thoroughly enjoyed and learned so much about caring for pets. My schedule is extremely flexible and I only work part time, so I can care for your pets at almost any time of day, especially mornings and afternoons. In a client's home, the pets are in a familiar environment with an unfamiliar person. So, the first thing I do is give the pets a chance to get used to me! Let them sniff me, let them approach me at their own pace.
“Finally! We have found the perfect cat and house sitter. Terri did an amazing job taking care of both while we were gone for 2 weeks. Our house was just as clean as I left it (I am a little OCD when it comes to that) and our little ball of fur was happy. Terri sent pictures daily and updated us each day with how Callie was doing. “Tami did an excellent job caring for both my cats who have medical needs. My older cat is a diabetic with severe skin issues requiring multiple medications on an alternating schedule in addition to her twice a day insulin. She did a good job asking questions and making sure Kitten got the medications she needed on the correct schedule. She successfully gave both oral and injection medication and Kitten was in great shape when I got back (which is not always the case after a vacation due to her detailed care needs). There were some minor things that came up but those were mostly me being very particular about some specifics and in the end, were not that important and didn't affect the care of the cats. The house was clean and the cat food and litter box trash taken out, which I appreciated.”
