It is the first time I returned home from a trip and did not get a two hour lecture of complaints from Lilly about how she was abandoned and left to starve with no company (which was not the case - she just did NOT like her caretaker). “Finally! We have found the perfect cat and house sitter. Terri did an amazing job taking care of both while we were gone for 2 weeks. Our house was just as clean as I left it (I am a little OCD when it comes to that) and our little ball of fur was happy. Terri sent pictures daily and updated us each day with how Callie was doing. I pay close attention to detail and I am always willing to engage in activities to keep your dog busy but I also know dogs need some down time as well. I’d love to be your go-to person for letting your dog out, feeding, playing, walking, and giving my them all the love they deserve. My schedule is currently completely open! Other than church on Saturday and Wednesday nights I am available almost 24/7. Let me know your dogs routine and It will be my first priority. I will handle your pets with care and consideration while paying attention to their individual needs and quirks. My dogs are very high maintenance so nothing is “too much” for me and I enjoy providing the highest quality care.
About: I’m a guy who falls in love with dogs instantly. Don’t want them back? No worries! Dogs instantly want to be my best friend and I’ve never met a dog that I didn’t like or that didn’t like me. I work from home. My dogs are part of the family. I would take care of your dogs as if they were my own children. I have a doggy door and outside kennel for the dogs to use as needed. I’m also happy to take dogs on a walk and my wife is a super dog walker. We have two dogs-a Pomeranian who is all love and a lab who’s an old girl but who is the best dog you’ll ever meet. I understand dogs. How they communicate, how they operate. I know how to get them to develop good habits.
About: I have been a dog lover my whole life! Dogs have been apart of my family since I was kid. We have loved a wide variety of breeds from small dogs to large dogs. I also have experience as a dog walking volunteer at the Racine County Humane society! Through this position and my home life I have walked dogs from 5-100+lbs. My family calls me the dog whisperer and I've always felt so at peace walking or spending time with pups! I am a recent grad with my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. I work as an Emergency Medicine PA offering me flexibility with my schedule. I would love to help care for your pets in my off time. Animals bring me so much joy and I will treat your pet as one of my own! I am able to work with pets of high energy as well as more docile pups! I am comfortable using crates as well as kennels.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and cats as well. I’m a huge animal lover! I’ve had golden retrievers, pit bulls, Rottweilers, and a mini golden doodle. We currently have a 3 month old Golden Retriever! I’m currently a Stay at Home Mom to a 17. Month old little boy and a 3 month old Golden Retriever! So I’m available all the time! My son is a huge animal lover already and will be joining me on check ins and walks so please keep that in mind! Your pets safety is my first priority. They will get plenty of love and play time from myself and my son! You’re pet will be treated as if they’re my own!
About: I grew up with a dog (2 cocker spaniels) in the house until I moved out for college. I love all animals and have pet sit for friends and family frequently. Some of my previous roommates also had a cat for a year that I lived with them. Although I have less experience with cats, I am still very open to watching and taking care of cats and other kinds of pets. I work as an archaeologist. I am currently unemployed but starting a new full time position in April. Most of my time from April to November is spent traveling for archaeology projects across the Midwest. I typically make enough money during those months or get a winter job to keep my bills paid during the off season. I thought I would try Rover because I love dogs and currently don't have a one of my own, just a fur-nephew I love like my own. Although I cannot offer my home for pet care jobs, I have my own car and am willing to come to your home, bring your dogs to parks, or take them on long walks for daily exercise. I have worked with elderly/sick animals before and with instruction, I would feel comfortable giving medicine prescribed by vets when needed.
