“Laken took the absolute best care of our dogs while we were on vacation, and I truly cannot recommend her enough! Leaving your pets behind is never easy but she made the entire experience stress free. She kept us updated, sent pictures, and treated our dogs like they were her own! We came home to happy, well-loved pups and a house just as we left it. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were safe, comfortable, and cared for so attentively. If you’re looking for someone dependable and genuinely amazing with animals, Laken is your girl! We are so grateful for her and will definitely be using her again!”

“Mary took great care of my dog and 2 cats while I was on vacation! She updated me each time she dropped by and included pictures of my happy pets. I will be hiring her to take care of my pets again! Highly recommend.”

I won’t charge an and a leg because how how hard it is to find someone you trust to care for your 4 legged friends.
“5 stars all the way, if there were 6 stars she would get that too! I never have to worry about my elderly cat Matty when i go away for a week. Kristen always takes superb care of Matty and goes above and beyond. Often when i come back he has more toys than what i left him with!”

About: Hi, I’m Dylin! I have cared for large and small dogs, cats, bearded dragons, chickens and goats (and every small rodent in between) since I was a child! I have petsat for family and friends since I was around eight years old. I grew up on a farm and have experience working with aggressive pets and tending to sick or injured animals. I’m currently living at home, working part time locally and saving to move out! My schedule is very flexible, I have early morning availability and I can work on the weekends. I am enrolled in online classes and I like to take my schoolwork with me during pet visits. The only times I can’t work are Wednesday evenings, other than that I’m free! I am respectful of client’s homes and I run a tight ship! As well as providing love and attention for your pet, a top priority of mine is to keep your house and their space clean. I go the extra mile to ensure your home is exactly as you left it! I am a considerate dog walker to furbabies and other pet owners out walking! I let dogs take their time to sniff, and I am patient with unruly or hyperactive behavior. I have experience walking with big dogs that pull; I’m stronger than I look!
About: I have cared for pets and people for many years. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits & chickens, and I dream of someday having my own homestead. I have years of experience as a care taker for children & the elderly, but if I'm being honest I much prefer the company of pets over people! I've fostered feral cats and rescued runaway dogs. There is something so pure about the love of an animal. I have a daughter (3 years old now) who loves animals so much and gets so excited every time she gets to meet a doggie or kitty, so she truly loves coming along with me for these jobs! My schedule is very flexible at this time: I'm available for daytime visits and overnight care to spend time with and love on your fur-babies! 😻 I have a great deal of respect when visiting others homes. I always take special care to leave it cleaner than I found it and tidy up any messes as needed. A clean home is a happy home! Bedding in the crate needs to be laundered or litter box needs to be cleaned out? No problem! I can also water plants, take in the mail, put trash cans out, pickup packages from the porch, load the dishwasher or whatever may be needed! I want to be of service to you and your pet as much as I can during my time in your home. References available upon request.

If you have any specific rules or guidelines for your pooch please let me know, I will do my best to make my home as cozy as their own. I love any dog big or small no matter the breed, color, or disability. I feel I would be great on Rover because dogs are just like children, and should be treated with care and love as if they were my own!! Your dog will be in safe and open arms <3 I work full time from home, but i am always here so your pups are never left unattended , i believe pets are like children, and should still be treated great care and love❤️ I have a fenced yard for potty breaks and outside fun. I do not leave them outside in the back yard, when they potty i stand outs tide with them until they are ready to come inside. My back yard is huge but i prefer the pups to be with me for safety and awareness reasons. I work from home 8-5 pm , so your pups are always getting around the clock care. I also love to walk the trails with the pups to get them and i some exercise and fresh air I have a doggy care kit in my home with necessities needed for all types of pups if needed , i make sure all pups are comfortable in their environment as well as around me so they can trust me in my care . Examples of this are playing outside , bonding with toys and giving them treats *unless directed otherwise * , and even watching alittle tv ! *bluey seems to work because Dogs can actually see the colors that bluey presents , it’s very entertaining to them *

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
