“We just picked up our pup from Lindalyn. He spent 4 days with her. One of the greatest rover experiences we have had to date. She was so good at making sure he felt comfortable the whole time and constantly updated us with pictures and messages to assure us that everything was going great. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the area. Thanks Lindalyn!”

“Our dog Lulu had a blast and was well cared for with Ellie! She was very proactive about getting all the details to make sure she was at home, and she had so much fun playing with her dogs! We would recommend her to anyone and ask to board with her again!”

“Karen P was great! She provided a meet and greet opportunity beforehand to make sure our dogs were compatible with each other. She was very flexible and accommodating in a last minute drop off time as well as an earlier pick up time. I will definitely be using her in the future.”

About: As an animal lovers, I promise to treat your pet like my own. They’ll be in good hands with me for the duration of their stay. My dog has a strict routine as I believe taking care of pers works better with a specific schedule. He wakes up, gets fed, gets taken out, is given treats, among everything else at the same time. Every day. I work from home and that makes it easy to adjust our schedule. My dog gets taken out early in the morning and fed. After he then gets taken back out later that morning. In addition, we spend some time outside in the afternoon during lunch. In the evening, he’s fed and taken back out for a bit. Later at night, he’s taken out once more and given a dental treat before bed time.
“Ashley and Brownie were great! I took our puppy to meet Ashley and her apartment was spotless and her dog was gentle and playful. Ashley was very comfortable answering all the questions of a new puppy mom and made me feel that my puppy would be happy in her home! I plan to use her again and would recommend her highly! Thanks, Ashley! Beverly Noffsinger”

About: Hello I am Maura! I grew up in a very large family and we always had a dog. I have had four dogs of my own. I have done pet sitting and fostering for families, friends and a dog rescue organization. My husband and I are passionate dog lovers with 30 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and ages. I'm reliable, responsible, and dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment for your furry family member. I’ve always been drawn to dogs and spent years volunteering for a dog rescue organization where I gained valuable experience in caring for dogs with a variety of needs. My husband volunteered with me and together we made several trips down south in a large van to rescue puppies from puppy mills or older dogs scheduled to be euthanized for sitting in shelter too long. I offer in-home pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-ins, and I'm happy to administer medication, provide playtime, and ensure your dog's comfort and well-being. I have a strong understanding of dog behavior and am happy to provide personalized care based on your dog's individual needs. My hasband and I are both home every day. I am available to care for dogs day or night. We are very active and include dogs in our daily life along the Potomac River. Spending time in the yard and walking around the neighborhood are part of my daily routine. My home is pet friendly with a large, fenced yard. Dogs are treated as family members. I am open minded and will listen carefully to any specific instructions provided to me for your furry friend.
“Victoria took such good care of our pup when we were gone for a 10 day vacation. He was happy to play with the other dogs and loved being able to roam the house and lounge on the couch. Victoria will be our go-to when we go on vacation moving forward. You can rest assured that your pup will be in great hands if she's the sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Ashley had a great home and perfect back yard! Even accommodated to my spoiled dogs who sleep in the bed. Our dogs got along well and I was not worried one bit when they were in her care. She sent lots of photos. I am relieved to know I have a got to person next time I’m out of town. Rockstar Ashley!”

“Margaret was wonderful! My dog looked like she was on her own vacation at Margarets house. She would send me pictures of Lucy playing in the yard and what bedding Lucy picked. Lucy loved being at Margarets house. I highly recommend Margaret!”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with them, cared for and dog sat for over 15 years while being a nannny. I've had two dogs of my own as well. My family and I have recently lost our beloved pup and are desiring to spend time with yours to get all the dog snuggles and love we can! I am a stay at home mom with 3 kids. We are home daily and most weekends. We love for your sweet pup to hang with us during the day or stay with us during a vacation or long weekend away. We do not have a fenced in yard but have 2 acres of property that we would leash your dog and take for walks around the property. We had a dog in the past that had medication needs and special food needs so I accustomed to caring for dogs with special needs. We are also a couch/furniture friendly family if that is something that is important to you. We do have small children but both are use to dogs and love them! We also do not have a pet of our right currently and so your dog would definitely be the center of our attention.
About: I’ve been around dogs most of my life. I currently have a Blue Great Dane named Diesel. He is great with other dogs, and we will have to do a meet and great to make sure you’re pup will get along with him also. I’m usually available unless the wife has me doing something. I spend every min I can with my dog and will show your dog the same treatment. My yard is unfenced for now, but it is 2 acres that’s at the end of a quiet neighborhood. We have plenty of room to play and go on walks.
“Alyssa did an amazing job taking care of my dog Claire. She would send me update photos throughout my trip to ease my stress about how Claire was coping with us being gone. The difference between how happy Claire was when we returned proved that Alyssa is an incredible sitter and value compared to local kennels in the area.”
About: I’m the person people call when their animals need real care — not just a walk around the block. I regularly foster puppies, kittens, and medical-case animals, so I’m used to everything from bottle babies to pets who need meds, deworming, wound care, and structured routines. Nothing fazes me. I work in animal care, and I’m hands-on every day with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I’m big on structure, safety, and making sure your pet feels secure, not stressed. Whether your dog is a stage-five clinger, a shy baby deer, or a chaos gremlin, I’ve probably fostered one just like them. I work part time on the weekends and all of my free time is dedicated to fosters or owned pets! My passion and hobby is dog training and animal care. I respect and reinforce owners boundaries. My home is optimized for animal safety and with my extensive animal care knowledge I am confidently able to provide a safe and structured environment.

Excited to meet your pet! 💛🐾 ⭐ My Daily Routine Pets fit naturally into my day. I start with morning feeding, meds (if needed), and a potty break or litter refresh. I only have one class a day, so I’m home most of the time to give walks, playtime, enrichment, and supervision. Throughout the afternoon and evening, I’m with the pets—doing walks, cuddles, behavior reinforcement, and keeping their space clean and comfortable. At night, I do final potty breaks/litter care, give any meds, and settle pets into a calm routine. Your pet is with me nearly all day, getting consistent care, attention, and love. In Your Home: I follow your routines exactly—feeding, walks, meds, and crate or free-roam preferences. I keep doors locked, maintain a clean environment, and make sure pets always have fresh water, a safe space to relax, and enrichment throughout the day. I send regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe. In My Home: Pets have a clean, pet-proofed space with supervised indoor time, enrichment, cuddles, and frequent potty breaks. I use slow introductions, low-stress handling, and separate areas if needed for shy or senior pets. I monitor behavior and health closely and maintain a calm, positive environment. I treat every pet with the same care, structure, and attention I give my own animals. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and trust always come first.
