About: I’ve always loved dogs and have been best friends with many of my friends’ and family’s pups over the years. I haven’t been able to have one of my own because I already have four sweet, healthy cats at home, but my heart has plenty of room for dogs, too. I follow dog videos every day on Instagram and TikTok and “virtually” care for so many pups through Reels—it’s my favorite part of the day. I’m excited to use Rover to finally spend time with dogs in real life, give them love, care, and fun walks, and make them feel safe and happy. I truly treat every pet like family, and I’d be honored to be your dog’s sitter or walker! I’m currently home full time, so I have a very flexible schedule for pet sitting and drop in visits. Julie was very responsive with messages, showed us around her home and yard and was generally very calm and patient. While the dogs didn't end up getting along well enough for this to work out long term, Ollie warmed up to Julie and was definitely as calm as I've seen him after being left.”

Let’s be honest, sending your dog to a new home or having a new friendly face in your home while you are away can be stressful for you and your pup. I make the transition feel easy and calm for both of you so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pup is well cared for. I work to keep your dog’s routine in tact (very important) and you up to speed on your dog’s care. I’m a highly experienced sitter, proactive and responsive communicator, and a playful, compassionate human. I don’t have a dog so your pup will get my full attention - I will keep up with any behavior training and ensure your dog gets the activity they need to thrive. I can accommodate dogs with special needs (I grew up with a dog with only three working legs) and I have experience administering drugs to pets and farm animals. I look forward to hearing from you! I work from home part time and out of the house (6-8 hours) part time. My schedule varies week to week so depending on the days you book I may be home most of the time. At minimum I’ll give your pup a long walk in the morning and evening and an extra potty and play break mid day or after the evening walk. I have a large fenced in yard that dogs love! I will give lots of pets/scratches, take breaks during my day to play with your pup, and make sure your dog has a comfortable place to rest during the day. I also take great care to ensure no food or trash is accessible because I understand dogs may like to explore and test boundaries when they are curious in a new place.

There are not enough words to describe how incredible Christienne was!! I had a last minute request to watch my 2 dogs while one the road traveling cross country. Christienne was so quick to respond, so pleasant, great communication, willing to work with us in a pinch. She went above and beyond her duties to make our dogs feel comfortable, welcomed and taken care of. She even brought them to me at the end of the evening instead of me coming to her. She sent numerous pictures and updates throughout their stay. When the dogs came home, it was so clear they had a good time and bonded with Christienne. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the Madison area!! Highest amount of stars possible!
Kaela watched our girl for a several hours today and she had the best time! It was our first time with her and although we don’t need care often, we will definitely be asking for her again. Lots of updates on her day. She came home a happy girl from all the attention.
Sara and Jonathan and family are absolutely amazing! We feel so lucky to have found them. They absolutely love on are Tucker Bear as much as we do. We know that whenever we leave him that he is being loved and cared for just as much as he would be if he was as if he were at home. They take him on walks, to the dog park, and play with him in the backyard!
This was our first time using Rover, and we are thoroughly impressed! From the initial meet and greet, it was clear that our 8-month-old golden retriever, Soka, would be in excellent hands. Denise made Soka feel at home right away, and it's obvious she gives her plenty of attention and playtime throughout the day. We received regular photo updates, and each evening we picked up a happily tired pup. Denise truly cares about ensuring Soka has the best experience, as evidenced by her thoughtful questions about our preferences for Soka's care.
