“I'm so glad I found Melissa on Rover. She is super personable. I was kinda anxious about how it would go for BJ to be around other dogs, since he hadn't been, so we set up a meet 'n greet weeks before. Melissa was very intentional in introducing BJ to her dogs and was so good at "reading" BJ's responses and then reassuring me that he would do good. While she cared for BJ she sent encouraging messages and pictures daily. Definitely a positive experience for Bj and myself as his owner.”

“First time ever for my dogs to be away from us so I was nervous but De'Aysia was amazing and was great with my big babies. She sent videos and pics so I knew they were safe and in good hands”

“The best rover sitter ever. She gave our dogs baths, healthy food, and she even trimmed my dogs hair! She really went above and beyond and we are so happy with her. Thank you so much Khanh”

“Kristine does a wonderful job of taking care of our older dog. She even bathed him, blew dried his hair, and cut his dewclaw that was quite long. We really appreciate how much care she gave to our Sparky.”

“Another great experience with Cathleen & Tyler G. We couldn’t be happier in finding such a wonderful fit for our dog Kane when we are away. It’s never easy leaving them, but the photos and little updates we receive , sure make our time away easier and are very much appreciated! Kane seems comfortable and we can rest easy knowing he’s being taken care of in a loving environment! Til next time !”

“I brought two dogs to stay for a night, and Alyssa was great with them! She was very accommodating, keeping them in a space together, which was great. She also sent pictures and told me how it was going, which is always comforting. And they were given a parting treat on their way out! Good experience overall ?”

“It was so nice knowing that Ziva was in a home with a family and not stuck in a loud kennel somewhere. She did really well and I’m very happy with Kerstin.”

“Kayla is a real treasure! Her home was spotless and she and her family were great with our dog. She sent us daily updates along with pics, which we loved. As an abandoned rescue, we were concerned about how he'd handle a long boarding but Kayla settled him right away. She welcomed our quick visit in the middle of the stay. Thank you Kayla!”

“Fantastic! Let us know how our dog was doing all throughout the stay, and was very communicative. Super nice, and couldn’t recommend more. We will for sure use Lola for any future trips with our dog!”

“Nathan, Jacqueline and their children, along with their "pup" Charlie, were the most welcoming hosts we could have hoped for! Our Levi and Junior are admittedly on the higher-maintainence side and their family took it all in stride. We met with them prior to committing to the hosting in order to make sure the dogs were compatible and to discuss Levi and Jr's needs. It was a very comfortable and easy meeting. We left the initial meeting feeling very comfortable. When the time came to leave our fur babies, Nathan reassured us our pups would be fine. While we were away, we received daily updates with pictures that showed our pups were doing fine and having fun ! The kids took them for walks, and Jr found a new friend in their pup Charlie. When we came to pick them up, they were healthy and happy. It was wonderful to be able to go on vacation knowing Levi and Jr were in good hands. We would definitely recommend Nathan and Jacqueline and their family to host the dogs of friends and family without reservation! If we need to leave our pups again, we would would not hesitate to leave them with Nathan and Jacqueline (if they would agree, if course)! THANK YOU, E. FAMILY, for your wonderful care of Levi and Junior!”

About: Since I was 15, I’ve been talking care of dogs big and small. I worked in a doggy day care briefly and branched out on my own. Through out college and grad school, I dog sat for multiple families. I started having dogs of my own and recently lost my dog. I am not ready to add another one to my pack just yet but I miss having a dog around. This seemed like a good way to do it! I have experience in giant breeds, medically complicated, multiples and high energy dogs. I live in an apartment but my family owns a farm down the road so I can bring your pup out to run wild on the property! The I currently work full time but am able to work from home. I would be able to access/let the pets out or take them for walks. I would also be able to take your pet to the office if they would enjoy that! I have an apartment with a little backyard. I also have access to my families farm a few miles down the road. I would have room for your pet to run and get all that energy out. I would be able to crate your pet if needed.

Gus is happy to see her when we drop him off and we can tell he’s comfortable at her home. It means a lot to us to have someone who is reliable, trustworthy and also being able to relax while on vacation knowing he’s being well cared for!”

“Marlena was very accommodating, and Bailey fit right in during the meet and greet. Bailey had a wonderful time and was well taken care of. If I need a dog boarder, I will definitely be looking to Marlena.”
