About: We are those people our friends and family call to care for their fur babies. Animals have been a part of our lives growing up. We do have a 5 year old who too shares our love for animals. We work from home, our schedule allows us to take the pups out as many times as they need. As well as cuddle breaks and belly rubs. We are an animal loving family, we have two dogs of our own. Our dogs get along with other dogs. We like to consider our dogs very laid back and chill. But if you prefer for the dogs to remain separate that is not a problem at all. We do have a large yard, it is not fenced but we will always be sure to leash up before we go out.

About: I have been looking after all kinds of dogs for 8 years, my dogs, my friends dogs, and neighbors dogs. It has been good experience with all the different dogs i have watched. Im working part time at the moment, so I will have plenty of free time to spend with your fur babies and make sure they arnt sad when your gone. I have an open yard and walk my dogs making sure they get plenty outside time, and will do the same with your dogs just like I would mine.

About: My life is filled with fantastic pet stories, and I’ve had and cared for pets my entire life. I had my amazing Maine Coon Simba who I cared for throughout his life. He was smaller than the average Maine Coon, but had all the confidence of the largest one. Now, my mini poodle Camo is always ready to cheer me up. He is very energetic, loving, and protective. I am no stranger to caring for high-energy pets! I also have experience with larger dogs such as White Shepards and Dobermans. As well as less common pets like hamsters, bearded dragons, and snakes. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet! Apart from a few weeks out of July where I will be working all day, I will be available to sit morning through evening Monday through Saturday depending on distance. I am flexible to care for your pet in a way they are used to, as I know everyone has a different routine and I don’t want your pet to become overwhelmed by changes. I love to walk dogs on their own or in groups (depending on size and temperament). I am great with entertaining and playing with dogs to give them their fill of exercise and interaction.

My grandmother’s pets are on a strict schedule, and diet therefore I understand strict diet. I’ve worked on a farm so I have experience with farm animals, small pets, and some exotic animals. My Roxy was 13 year old when we had to put her down from old age, so I know what it takes to care for a senior dog. For the safety and comfort of all animals involved, doggy day care and boarding is unavailable at this time. I appreciate your understanding! My policies are continued below. **PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING.** ~ My Policies ~ Drop-In Visits Drop-in visits are typically 30 minutes long, but 60-minute visits are also available. During these visits, cats receive food, water, and a litter scoop, while dogs are fed and walked or let outside to potty. Please specify the duration you prefer and the exact duties you would like me to perform for your pet(s) during this time. House Sitting House sitting services on Rover are billed at a nightly rate. Most clients within a 10-mile radius (10-20 minute drive) request multiple visits throughout the day, along with overnight stays. **However, if you need me to stay in your home full-time (24 hours) without leaving for two or more consecutive days, an additional continuous care fee of $50 per day will apply.** This is because I will be unable to meet with or serve other clients for the duration of your stay. Walks and Potty Breaks Walks are generally 30 minutes, but a 60-minute option is also available. For safety, I can walk a maximum of two dogs at a time. During our meet and greet, please demonstrate how to properly fasten their harnesses and share any commands you use. If your dog tends to pull, especially if they weigh 50 pounds or more, kindly inform me in advance. If you just want me to let your dog into the yard for a potty break, please specify this your booking request and request a drop-in visit instead of a walk. This is because Rover requires a card to be submitted for walks that records the time and distance traveled on the walk--this is inapplicable for potty breaks. Meet & Greets I offer a complimentary meet and greet to every new client, allowing us to get to know each other and to ensure my services align with your pet’s needs. During this visit, we will: - Discuss your pet’s routine, preferences, and any special instructions. - Review home access instructions (entry codes, alarm systems, etc.) - Observe your pet’s behavior and comfort level with my presence. - Confirm the booking rate and answer any remaining questions. Your booking request is reserved for up to 48 hours after the initial meet and greet. If payment is not submitted within this time period, I must archive your request so I remain visible in Rover’s search results. **This means your requested time slot will remain open to other clients.** Please note, I cannot hold reservations without a confirmed booking, as my schedule fills up quickly, particularly around the holidays. Drop-In Test For pets, especially those with special needs, high anxiety, or who have no previous experience with sitters, I offer a drop-in test. The drop-in test is a discounted drop-in visit to see how your pet responds to my presence alone in your home. This test is an assessment of their comfort level, and an early opportunity to evaluate my quality as a pet sitter. If the test is successful, with your approval, we’ll move forward with house-sitting. If your needs differ from the care than I can provide, we won’t proceed with the longer booking. Cancellation Policy Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking start time are eligible for a full refund. Canceling a stay any time after that will incur Rover’s cancellation fee. ~ My Schedule ~ I am currently working from home, so I am usually available for drop in visits, dog walking, and house sitting any time with a minimum notice of 1 day. Please check my calendar for daily updates about my availability. House Sitting Routine Please provide written or typed instructions outlining your pet’s regular feeding times and bathroom schedules. I will adjust my routine to avoid conflicting your pet's trained habits. Trust & Safety Building trust with your pet(s) is essential when entering your home, as animals need time to adjust to unfamiliar people, much like we do. For this reason, I do not confirm bookings with new clients without first scheduling a meet and greet. **If your pet has severe anxiety or has ever bitten anyone, please inform me before we proceed with the booking.** If I observe any unusual behavior during the visit, I will provide pictures or a video and request further instructions. If we cannot resolve the issue or I do not receive a timely response, I may contact Rover support to modify or end the booking. Please ensure that your emergency contact and veterinary information are updated in your profile. Additionally, all animals should be free of fleas and ticks and up-to-date on vaccinations (e.g., rabies, FeLV). For privacy and safety reasons, if you are a first-time client, I kindly ask that all meetings and payments stay within the Rover app. I appreciate your understanding. ~ My Guarantees ~ I will always: - Schedule a free meet & greet to see if I’m a good fit for your pet(s) before booking. - Work with you and adjust my schedule to prioritize the needs of your pet(s). - Operate on a first come, first serve basis. I cannot hold slots through the Rover app, so the first to pay gets the stay! - Respond promptly to your messages and provide regular written updates, along with photos and occasional videos of your pets. - Immediately communicate if I notice any unusual behavior, safety issues, or health concerns. - Ensure your home is left in a better condition than I found it, only access permitted areas, and maintain strict client confidentiality. - Care for and love your pet(s) as if they were my own, making sure everyone eats and gets plenty of attention. - Refund you in full if you cancel within 24-hours of your booking start time.

About: I have had pets all of my life. I currently have 3 dogs, a Pomeranian/Westie mix, a Husky/Pitbull mix, and a Staffordshire terrier. As well as fish. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds. Cats, fish, and most reptiles. I have owned cats in the past and I have family who have cats. I have cared for lizards and bearded dragons. I always follow the owners instructions on care. I have experience walking, playing with, and caring for animals. Administering medication, and basic first aid. I am patient when meeting a new animal. I allow them to take their time to warm up to me, I let them come to me vs me approaching them. Please let me know if any allergies, current injuries, medications, ect that I may need to be aware of. As well as any certain quirks they may have, for example some cats like to try and escape , dog can jump over the fence, they hate their neck touched, and so on. This is all so I can make sure your pet is comfortable and receives the best care! I always treat pets like they are my own, with love and kindness. I love getting to know each one’s personality! It truly is a joy to have an animal warm up to you and open up. I am a stay at home mom, so my schedule is usually pretty flexible. I do like to keep my pet care within a certain distance radius of my home. I have a fenced in dog run attached to my house where the dogs can go outside to play and go potty. I always make sure my dogs as well as others are harnessed and leashed prior to going outside. I make sure there are no hazards in the home that could hurt the animal in any way.

About: I have been raised in an animal loving family with many different pets and I have been taking care of all kinds of animals for years now! I am currently a student athlete at a small d3 school and do classes year long. I am also Enlisted into the Marine Corps Reserves, so I was in need of a part time job for while I am at home and away from college. I can provide treats for pets if they are not provided, I can easily crate dogs if needed. I can take them on long walks and spend as much time with them as needed.

I am trusted House/pet sitter and will come and stay, feed, and most importantly play with your pups! Also will come make sure your cat is well taken care of! I work full time, but telework, so as long as I have wifi, I can spend all day with your pet! I also have a flexible work schedule so can come drop in as needed. I will make sure your pet is comfortable in their house, keeping an eye on them (even if in a fenced yard), taking steps to make sure we are all safe and happy!

About: Hi I'm Kristi. I have experience in dog walking as well as dropping in on cats. I use to live in CA and move to VA in 2022. We were a military family and now are living the civilian life. I still have access to base as my husband is a Vet. I am not only a mother of two teens, but I am also a mother of four cats all the ages of 2 and 10 week old puppy! When it comes to all fur babies, I always adore the kisses and playfulness. Being a mother makes the loving motherly nature come natural to me. My cats & a puppy are also treated as my own children and are very spoiled as well. When caring for others pets I make sure that they are comfortable and the connection between me and your dog/cat is natural. I follow all intrusions that are given. I do ask that if there is anything that I need to be aware that had changed within the time I have spend with your dog/cat that I be aware of them. I like to treat my clients pets with treats and toys..but with permission and guidelines to his or her diet plans in mind if any. I have had so my great pleasures in caring for animals and love it.
